TPPR10 Posted June 2, 2013 Posted June 2, 2013 Why not give her a gun-blade while they're at it? Because Ragna already has gunblade.
floatwater Posted June 2, 2013 Posted June 2, 2013 Alright who blew up this Bloodedge discussion again? Lol Ragna. . Gunblade. You wish bruh
Ctrlaltwtf Posted June 2, 2013 Posted June 2, 2013 Alright who blew up this Bloodedge discussion again? Lol Ragna. . Gunblade. You wish bruh He does, though.... The hilt is a gigantic revolver lol. (Not even joking)
Narroo Posted June 2, 2013 Posted June 2, 2013 You learn something new every day. But, half the cast doesn't use an Ars Magus. Tager doesn't, nor does Taokaka or Arakune. Litchi's drive doesn't really either; it's more of a stance change with a weapon that happens to be magic. There's Makoto who doesn't use an Ars Magus. Valkenhyne, Bang, and who else am I forgetting?
EXonestar Posted June 2, 2013 Posted June 2, 2013 Isn't Bang's Ars Magus his Gaunlets? (Idk about the Giant Nail though....)
Narroo Posted June 2, 2013 Posted June 2, 2013 Isn't Bang's Ars Magus his Gaunlets? (Idk about the Giant Nail though....) I don't think so. But maybe.
TekkamanArk Posted June 2, 2013 Posted June 2, 2013 Bang's gauntlets are a Nox Nyctores, but it doesn't recognize him as its wielder, so he can't use its power (which is to sever someone's ties from the boundary).
EXonestar Posted June 2, 2013 Posted June 2, 2013 That sounds useful for defeating Amaterasu. I have heard quite a few people talking about how OP Bang's Nox isn't and how it plays a role in CP but i'm not going to say it's a fact - just what I heard. I do wish to see what Bang's master was like and etc But i doubt it'll go back in to the history of that while the story of CP is being told.
Chaoschao222 Posted June 2, 2013 Posted June 2, 2013 I wouldn't say Rettenjou's OP so much as it's the anti-OP. Like if Hsien-Ko was the anti-Morridoom, Hsien-Ko wouldn't be OP at all, just very useful in certain annoying situations~
ElegantShadow Posted June 2, 2013 Posted June 2, 2013 (edited) From what I've read, Bang's Nox Nyctores severs ties with The Boundary. Now who in the story has an unhealthy connection with The Boundary, big boobs, and a panda in her hair? Tager In short, his Nox Nyctores may become important to the story, but it's more than likely just going to be used as a means for Bang to save Litchi from becoming like Arakune. Wasn't it stated somewhere that she's just going to die instead of turn into a monster?
ElegantShadow Posted June 2, 2013 Posted June 2, 2013 Wasn't it stated somewhere that she's just going to die instead of turn into a monster? If I remember correctly, it's stated that she will eventually become something similar to Arakune. However, that technically does mean she will die, well, rather who she is will.
EXonestar Posted June 2, 2013 Posted June 2, 2013 The death of litchi is gona hurt so bad ._. But Her being useless if bang removes her powers would be bad to. Its a Lose/GameOver situation for litchi guys ;( But If thats the case, does that mean Bang can somehow save Arakune or kokonoe/tager sayings "he's far beyond saving now" the bottom line ...I wonder... (We want Human Arakune back Dx!)
ChimeraCoinFlip Posted June 2, 2013 Posted June 2, 2013 But If thats the case, does that mean Bang can somehow save Arakune or kokonoe/tager sayings "he's far beyond saving now" the bottom line ...I wonder... (We want Human Arakune back Dx!) In most anything anime-like, it's a safe bet that when a smart person says something is impossible, some idiot with no idea on the subject is going to do it. Arakune might have a tragic end just as a "morale lesson" but at the moment it's still entirely possible for him to be saved.

And the Litchi players would be quite pissed over it as well But If thats the case, does that mean Bang can somehow save Arakune or kokonoe/tager sayings "he's far beyond saving now" the bottom line ...I wonder... (We want Human Arakune back Dx!) Well, considering they did say "He's far beyond saving now" It's more than likely a coin flip at best. However, if by some chance Bang can save him as well, I doubt he'd still be playable, that is, unless he still had access to his various bugs, and such.
TD Posted June 2, 2013 Posted June 2, 2013 oh guys you worry for naught. litchi will be saved and as an added bonus, she'll get an alternate form! that would be sweet actually, l remember someone saying something about metallic panties and four flying poles instead of one.

Do people forget that this is a land where they can smelt souls into a world-hating mecha musume or where being swallowed by a multi-headed, pissed off Black Beast can send you 80 years into the future? It is possible that Bang's Nox (or rather, the Kushinada Lynchpin it carries) can act as a sort of rule-breaker when it comes to those affected by the Boundary. At worst, that I can foresee, is having the Nox save them but carrying 2 consequences: 1. Litchi loses her powers and can no longer fight. A replacement for her playstyle is introduced Linhua. 2. Arakune's sanity is returned but is stuck in his current body because Hazama observed him as such. Downside: he is no longer going to be off his rocker anymore. And this is just the worst-case scenario. It is entirely possible they have them both saved somehow because Blazblue-verse doesn't exactly operate on strictly defined rules.

Though, for some reason I just can't bring myself to even imagine Linhua replacing Litchi. It just seems far too... bleh. As for Arakune, I can actually see something like this happening. Though, how is it a "Downside" that he would no longer be insane? Blazblue: Alternate Characters. My dreams of Nu getting an alternate form where she swings Murakumo around Fiona style shall at last be realized!
Agni Posted June 3, 2013 Posted June 3, 2013 Real talk I'd love a playable Lotte Carmine. How would he even play like, though? Eddie?
Luminos564 Posted June 3, 2013 Posted June 3, 2013 Though, how is it a "Downside" that he would no longer be insane? Well not hearing all that crazy, garbled speech pattern would be kinda weird. I mean, he spent 2 games like this and suddenly he talks "properly"? I've grown rather fond of it you see. My dreams of Nu getting an alternate form where she swings Murakumo around Fiona style shall at last be realized! I'm still waiting on Transformer Tager so can immediately play Stan Bush's "The Touch" whenever I win a match .
spaghetti Posted June 3, 2013 Posted June 3, 2013 Lotte Carmine would play like Jubei THERE'S YOUR PLAYABLE JUBEI
