ElegantShadow Posted June 5, 2013 Posted June 5, 2013 Have you seen any FG movies. Yes, I have. Though, there's a difference between the story in Tekken and Blazblue. I'm just saying that compared to other fighting games, Blazblue's story is at least good enough to make for an interesting watch. Will the anime be perfect? Most likely not. Will it be mind numbingly bad? Most certainly not.
AeternumSomnium Posted June 5, 2013 Posted June 5, 2013 What mAc Chaos said. Although, it's somewhat of a defense mechanism--to spare me the crushing disappointment if it does actually suck. Only time will tell I suppose; I can't help but feel that this won't be very solid though, I mean time travel and whatnot is messy, in anything and everything (for the most part). In anime form it's usually even more shaky--Blazblue's plot is already kind of "lolwut" so I can't help but dread the possibility of the anime being a mess. Like I said though, we will see. I hope they prove me wrong. Bullet and Carl trade shorts, and she somehow gets smaller ones.
Ctrlaltwtf Posted June 5, 2013 Posted June 5, 2013 (edited) Have you seen any FG movies. Hey, if the BB anime is anything like this I will love it to death. Edited June 5, 2013 by Ctrlaltwtf

I feel that Prejudging something that has very sparse information at this time is a tad pointless. However, here's to hoping the anime won't be terrible. Bullet and Carl trade shorts, and she somehow gets smaller ones. I love a happy ending. Edited June 5, 2013 by ElegantShadow
Chaoschao222 Posted June 5, 2013 Posted June 5, 2013 Hey, if the BB anime is anything like this I will love it to death. By definition... I don't think the anime will be anything like something that's live action...
mAc Chaos Posted June 5, 2013 Posted June 5, 2013 By definition... I don't think the anime will be anything like something that's live action... have you seen fg anime movies
AeternumSomnium Posted June 5, 2013 Posted June 5, 2013 However, here's to hoping the anime won't be terrible. Fair enough cheers comrade I'll be crossing my fingers harder than humanly possible.
Volt Posted June 5, 2013 Posted June 5, 2013 have you seen fg anime movies Have you seen other FG's plots? I won't say it's going to be the greatest stuff. But I think it's interesting enough and it actually could be good.
spaghetti Posted June 5, 2013 Posted June 5, 2013 http://www.famitsu.com/images/000/034/213/51a8b6c474180.html I'm noticing some light pink in the background, and also Kagura's sprite is somewhat closer to Noel's, compared to the other story screenshots is it Kagura seducing Noel or is it Noel shyly talking to Kagura?? translate plz, i need to write fanfic

[2:32:17 PM] Dreiko: It alludes to nudity :P *is already bouncing fic ideas around for KaguraxTsubaki *
BlackYakuzu94 Posted June 5, 2013 Posted June 5, 2013 The Blazblue anime will either be two things: So bad its good, or So Cool its awesome. Either way, we're gonna be entertained by something. Whether its badly off-model animation or surprisingly good fight scenes. As for Kagura seducing Noel...may god have mercy on his soul, because the shippers sure as hell won't.
mAc Chaos Posted June 5, 2013 Posted June 5, 2013 Have you seen other FG's plots? I won't say it's going to be the greatest stuff. But I think it's interesting enough and it actually could be good. Yeah but even with a plot as simple as SF's the media based on it manage to leave 90% of it out.
SolxBaiken Posted June 6, 2013 Posted June 6, 2013 The quality of BB's anime is irrelevant. I feel for it the same way I feel for P4's anime, it's a story I'm already too familiar with and at the end of the day it won't amount to much more than that. If all we're getting is Calamity Trigger: The Animation [now featuring more fan service] it won't mean a heck of alot to me. Now if we got extended media-esque content with new revelations and secrets, then there'd be cause for alarm and interest. But let's fact it, this is just to advance the profitability of BB by advancing its marketing appeal. And after 2 games (CT, CTR), a manga (Chemical Complex), and 2 novels, I am burned out on CT's events [which admittedly aren't even all that interesting considering things that happen before and after it]. But hey, that's just my opinion and we all know how much that amounts to = w=
Luminos564 Posted June 6, 2013 Posted June 6, 2013 The Blazblue anime will either be two things: So bad its good, or So Cool its awesome. Either way, we're gonna be entertained by something. Whether its badly off-model animation or surprisingly good fight scenes. Well considering it is just Calamity Trigger, I doubt they can screw it up. Though, how they plan to integrate all the characters into one cohesive narrative is beyond me since in CT every character was out doing their own thing really. As for Kagura seducing Noel...may god have mercy on his soul, because the shippers sure as hell won't. Why's that? I figure Kagura is bound to be popular enough for people. If anything, it'll be Noel who needs protection from the shippers.

Though, how they plan to integrate all the characters into one cohesive narrative is beyond me since in CT every character was out doing their own thing really. Well the only characters who had any sort of plot in CT were Ragna, Jin, Noel, Rachel, Hakumen, and Nu. Everyone else just had small moments. They'll probably include things like Ragna talking with Litchi and sparring Arakune, Jin's confrontation with Bang, and Noel's with Tager. Why's that? I figure Kagura is bound to be popular enough for people. If anything, it'll be Noel who needs protection from the shippers. Noel is already shipped with a few people(specifically Ragna), so someone else showing interest is bound to stir up the fandom. But yea, it can go both ways. Its gonna be hilarious to watch nonetheless tho.
Volt Posted June 6, 2013 Posted June 6, 2013 Isn't Makoto and Tsubaki going to appear too? I think that after CT it will cover the events of CS. So they could actually just use CT Arc to set the stage for CS.

They only appeared in Noel(& Jin's?) flashback to the academy, Tsubaki doesn't make a real appearance till after the true ending when Hazama orders her to kill Jin and Noel and Makoto doesn't appear until CS period.

I know, this is why I asked if they appear.
ElegantShadow Posted June 6, 2013 Posted June 6, 2013 I can't help but wonder what the fighting scenes will look like? I mean, certain characters, Rachel, Nu, Arakune, and Litchi to some extent, have very complicated ways of fighting. I wonder what they'd look like in full, 3D animation?
mAc Chaos Posted June 6, 2013 Posted June 6, 2013 I want to see how they represent Hakumen's counter.
AeternumSomnium Posted June 6, 2013 Posted June 6, 2013 I want to see how they represent Hakumen's counter. This this this Also, I'm really interested in how they'll portray the insect horde/mass of Arakune or the dynamic movement and trap-setting Rachel executes; if the animation is at least somewhat fluid, it ought to be one hell of a show
TPPR10 Posted June 6, 2013 Posted June 6, 2013 And I would like to see you people discuss about the anime in its own thread. Seriously now, the anime doesn't even take place in CP story, so there is no point discussing about it here.
LionHeartx Posted June 6, 2013 Posted June 6, 2013 I want to see how they represent Hakumen's counter. the letter "D" pops up and covers Hakumens entire body.
Elochai Posted June 10, 2013 Posted June 10, 2013 (edited) I'm not 100% sure, but I think this is a beginner's tutorial. Link. edit: Nope. Watched more of it. Tbh, I dunno what this is. Introductory video of some kind though. edit2: Okay, it's a Jin tutorial with other stuff in it like special VS intros. Edited June 10, 2013 by Elochai
Master Of Chaos Posted June 10, 2013 Posted June 10, 2013 It's also got the pre-battle scenes from Jin's Arcade story against Ragna and Hakumen. Can anyone translate?
