kazukifafner Posted August 5, 2012 Posted August 5, 2012 Amane was obviously male from the start. No woman could be that fabulous.
mAc Chaos Posted August 5, 2012 Posted August 5, 2012 Hakumen looks exactly the same, lulz. Robots gonna robot. I like how everyone was like MAN IM DONE WITH BB UNLESS THEY RELEASE A NEW ONE and they just show up out of nowhere with this. They KNEW.
SolarMisae Posted August 5, 2012 Posted August 5, 2012 Amane was obviously male from the start. No woman could be that fabulous. I wish I could be fab like Amane. That beautiful sob.
Fistmaster049 Posted August 5, 2012 Posted August 5, 2012 I doubt the Murakumo playstyles will be gone, even if the characters using those playstyles will probably change. Who knows, maybe they'll do more time travel/loop shenanigans and bring Alpha-1 into the game or something, lol yeah your probably right I doubt Mu will be coming back though to be honest, I can see Lambda in someway coming back though something stupid like, Kokonoe put her armor back together and used someone else to use it ..or something like that
LuminAbyss Posted August 5, 2012 Posted August 5, 2012 I like how everyone was like MAN IM DONE WITH BB UNLESS THEY RELEASE A NEW ONE and they just show up out of nowhere with this. They KNEW. You gotta compliment them on their timing man.
Fistmaster049 Posted August 5, 2012 Posted August 5, 2012 You know, they don't exactly have to keep them in just because of the story. They could keep them in because it's common sense to do so. they really aren't leaving are they? damn....
zeth07 Posted August 5, 2012 Posted August 5, 2012 Really, if Ash Crimson gets called a trap, there's no way Amane isn't. Well whoever says that doesn't know what they are talking about. To me Ash is obviously male... Amane is the same way to me as well. I watch too much anime. It's like people have never heard of Vega (Claw) before. I guess people just don't understand character types. http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/TheFightingNarcissist
Mr. Kimura Posted August 5, 2012 Posted August 5, 2012 Bullet reminds me of Zenia a bit. Can't really see much from what was shown, but her overhead is an axe handle smash and her supers involve shooting you... but she has a raw sexy style. I like it a lot.
Pete278 Posted August 5, 2012 Posted August 5, 2012 Well whoever says that doesn't know what they are talking about. It's like people have never heard of Vega (Claw) before. I guess people just don't understand character types. http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/TheFightingNarcissist Yeah, Vega and Amane are both quite similar, given how Vega is wearing an outfit for men, and Amane isn't, and all.
SolarMisae Posted August 5, 2012 Posted August 5, 2012 (edited) yeah your probably right I doubt Mu will be coming back though to be honest, I can see Lambda in someway coming back though something stupid like, Kokonoe put her armor back together and used someone else to use it ..or something like that I can see the Nu/Lam playstyle coming back easily. It's been hinted at since the true end of CS that Nu was reviving herself. Now at the end of this PV we get a flash of a mecha with what looks like Nu's emblem on the front. Since the nu/lam playstyle was around first thats probably what they're gonna use for her new self. Mu would be harder to put in the game while still having it go with the story. Everyone says Saya will be Mu, but I think if Saya was playable, she's kind of a big and important enough character to warrant a unique playstyle that doesn't borrow from anyone else in the cast. Edit: Yeah, Vega and Amane are both quite similar, given how Vega is wearing an outfit for men, and Amane isn't, and all. Depends on what you consider to be "for men." In Japan, from what I know it's not totally uncommon for men to cross dress and be beautiful in the way Amane is presented. His body is very long and lanky, and is more angular than curvy. His body LOOKS male to me, just he's dressed in a way that gives him a FEMININE look, but doesn't make him look like a girl completely. Edited August 5, 2012 by SolarMisae

suna19 Posted August 5, 2012 Posted August 5, 2012 considering a trap would be trying to fool you into thinking it's a female, Amane is not a trap. He speech is very masculine, and I'm not just talking about how deep it is. GAH it needs to hurry up and be tomorrow(tonight) already

Agni Posted August 5, 2012 Posted August 5, 2012 That you did. This guy's got a Geisha thing going on and I'm liking it. Wait, who's the short cat-like thing next to him?
SolarMisae Posted August 5, 2012 Posted August 5, 2012 nb4everyoneisgayforamane I'm female, can i still be gay for him? If not, can I be straight for him?
kazukifafner Posted August 5, 2012 Posted August 5, 2012 nb4everyoneisgayforamane oh you are waaaaaaay too late for that i've already moved to canada
Starlight777 Posted August 5, 2012 Posted August 5, 2012 Late to the party but here's my thoughts. Bullet looks like someone made Rule 63 Ragna into a character. Amane stole all of Jin's FABULOUS and I'm rather indifferent about Azrael. I wanna try Noel, now that she is no longer wearing a stupid beret. I always hated that beret lol. Still sticking with Platinum and Relius. P.S: I hope to GOD everyone gets new palettes.
Agni Posted August 5, 2012 Posted August 5, 2012 nb4everyoneisgayforamane I will always be gay for Jin and Sena. Maybe for Amane as well...only time will tell. ...Then again, I'm already bi anyway.

Crossdressing used to be a big mainstream thing in Japan prior to the world wars (the government wanted men to want to be soldiers, and that doesn't work so well when everyone wants to be a little girl), but since then its only resurrection has come about recently as a part of otaku culture. Even then, its only really for young adults, rather than actual adults, which Amane looks like. Of course, the idea of a 'man' is more feminine in Japan, since the big bulky Zangiefs are considered the homosexual ones, but it doesn't go that far. I'd say the best example of it is probably Dante, who, while I don't think you'd find anyone who'd say Dante isn't manly in the West, is pretty close to being a bit of a poof. So yeah, while being a beautiful man who crossdresses isn't really unheard of, its not a mainstream thing, so I think he's fine under the 'trap' label, though of course he's closer to the edge with Ash than in the direct centre with Bridget.
toanenadiz Posted August 5, 2012 Posted August 5, 2012 we need more orginal styles, no more Nu clones please It isn't like they have multiple characters with Nu/Lambda's playstyle in each game. There is one per game.

mikeohara Posted August 5, 2012 Posted August 5, 2012 I'm actually excited for this. The release date at the end is for consoles right, or is that an arcade release date?
