Oh yeah I forgot. Nu > Everything else in CT.

To keep from falling into story talk again I have to say I hope there's an extra character for console release, even if it's yet another Murakumo.

Although I think the chances of that happening are very low, but since there is a graveyard of Murakumo Units and all it could happen. :D

If Saya was playable, I don't want her to be a Murakumo, just let her fight as is, and give her force lighting and a force choke command grab with an invisible hitbox, then I can die happy

This so much, no more Murakumos please. I'm interested in playing her sometime in the future and if her battle outfit turns out to be that of a Murakumo's then my interest will drop all the way to the bottom.

Though holding a button to tech can also be techtrapped, etc., mashing the button actually punishes short tempered players into CH resets. I like it more. It forces you into teching more intelligently. Also the are a bunch of heavy damage combos with tricky links in the middle which are easy to blue beat but hard to tech out normally due to only 1-2 frame tech window in case of blue beat. While normally you are supposed to memmorize timing to tech there, holding button just gives you that for free. It is a simplification which is bad for the game in my opinion.

By the way, has it been confirmed/announced?

I've been wondering this a bit: What will happen with music from the story mode? Will they be left unchanged or are they remaking them with the rest of soundtrack?

If you screw up a combo, your opponent gets out. It's plenty fair. Also consider it from the techer's side: since it's not an active input on their part, they have to react to their own tech to make sure they don't eat shit after it. It works well in P4, which is why it's sticking around in CP. (And yes, it was confirmed in the loketest PDF that explained Overdrives and the new moves for each character.)

We have no way of knowing until the console version is released (or they decide to announce it, which no, they haven't yet), so I'd advise not worrying about it too much.

Well, that's fair, but just how easier it would be holding the barrier block: that beats up a whole lot of tech traps and reset attempts.

I'm honestly still skeptical about the mode change being her without armor. Something about a whole new set of sprites for an alternate mode of a character we've seen before leaves me in disbelief.
