Was no trouble, I enjoy hunting for stuff. Chiba Prefecture is the home for GameChariot which is what I took my assumption on.

Rin-hime is dropping Rachel for Kokonoe (I knew this would happen though).

I don't know much about Rin-Hime but I could tell they liked Kokonoe just from their twitter avatar and today, a load of explanation marks dotted around their tweets. Must've caught the news I assume. I'll keep them on the list of Notable Japanese Rachel players for the videos that feature them are still worth noting

Though, I've been wondering. Is there any way to actually test whether or not I'm doing the j.A IOH properly? It feels like I am, but I just can't be certain.

1. Go to Training Mode and set the dummy to Record.

2. Record yourself performing the j.A IOH.

3. Play it back and as the main player try to mash between the jump-cancel normal and j.A IOH (should be gapless).

That is quite literally exactly what I did earlier.

About 85% of the time I wasn't able to mash out. The other 15% I either traded with her or mashed her out.

I guess this means that I'm doing something wrong. Exactly how gapless is it?

Out of curiosity, should 5B > IOH j.A > 5B be able to connect as a legitimate combo?

No but 5B > IOH j.A > j.B > 5B should.

Well, that explains pretty much everything.

If I did the IOH perfectly I could never connect the 5B after the IOH j.A without adding a j.B. Evidently I was under the misconception that Rachel could do IOH j.A > 5B. This led me to believe that I was doing something wrong, and as a result I would slightly delay the j.A in order for the 5B to connect thus tarnishing it's gaplessness.

Oh how pathetic, now I feel silly. Should have watched some Rachel play before straining my brain with self-contrived nonsense.

Agreed. It's the most entertaining mirror in the game when both of the players are good. That doesn't happen too often though.
