thanks for trying though. Found a link shortly after on funimation. Show looks alright. The scenes look a little crammed together as if trying to fit a huge amount of events in one episode. I wonder how much they'll cover by the end of the series.

song remixes sound great, they should be osts. Also rachel looks amazing. Didn't get to see much of her or valk yet but what little show looked good.

Apologies in advance for the long post.

Regarding the Rachel Video Thread. As you may or may not know I have been hitting the Post Processing Limit for the Match Ups and I have had to split them between two posts again. I will need to try and save on space as we still have to fit in characters like Terumi, Kagura etc. and the game will be around for a long time, so I am making a list of what I am looking to do with the thread.

List:

- I am looking to remove all the 2012 matches/links and keep them saved so if anyone wants to see them, they are welcome to request them and I will send them the links.

- I am looking to keep all Matches/Links for all the new characters like Amane, Azrael etc. And I'll obviously be keeping links that feature our notable Rachel players along with other players like Emurisu as one example.

- I am also looking to go through each Match Up and remove links for example, that feature 4 Dan Rachel players getting mashed up by some 15 Dan Hazama. If you know what I mean.

Fun Fact: We have over 1100 links and this has come from just one year.

Any feedback/opinions/questions/suggestions etc. is all welcome

All great ideas. For the last bit, there is little gain from watching a steamroll, so I agree with this.

I've asked this before but... what was your character limit Gamester?

The character limit for posts is now 100,000 iirc. However when I went beyond 85,000 characters I started getting the following message:

"Fatal error: Maximum execution time of 30 seconds exceeded in /home/dustlo5/public_html/forums/includes/functions.php on line 2351"

So I split the Match Ups between two posts again. I would say to be on the safe side, the character limit should be 80,000 if you don't want to hit the post processing limit.

Apologies if I didn't mention it before.

If you want to make an archive video thread to store the old video links, we can try locking it (not sure if you can edit it if it's locked, though), or something along those lines, as well.

In an archive thread, each post could be split by years, as well. One post for 2012, another one for 2013 if you ever need to phase it out, etc. Not sure CP will be around long enough for that to be necessary, though you never know.

BBCP will be around for a good while I think. I mean we got a ton of videos in around a year since it's release (around 1100 so far (granted I added every Rachel match I could find for everyone to view)). We're going to get even more once BBCP hits consoles and things kick off, so making a post per year will more than likely hit the processing limit for an archive thread. I would of thought creating yearly threads would be a more effective method (like "CP Rachel Video Posting Thread 2013") with the exception on 2013 having the first 2012 match links bundled together but 2014 keeps all the 2014 videos.

Or I could just do it like this if I were to make a yearly archive structure, in fact I could try doing this now. Example:

So you can see the year numbers more clearly by them being split up by a single line break/space?

EDIT: I gave the above method a go. Putting a space between the 2012 and 2013 links. Feel free to let me know if it's good/bad or anything?

Those of us who don't play Hakumen are more excited about this idea. :P

Though I must admit, I wish Arc Sys would chill with the whole "rearrange EVERYTHING every update!" schtick and just adjust the problem characters (little more love for Tsubaki/Makoto/Tager/Amane/Izayoi, some noifs for Hazama/Jin/Hakumen/Litchi). It doesn't need to be a big dog & pony production where everyone has to learn new combos.
