Ctrlaltwtf Posted January 18, 2013 Posted January 18, 2013 The "satellite thingy" is Take-Mikazuchi, the Nox owned by the NOL, Rachel's Tsukuyomi Unit is her absolute defense shield that she uses to stop Take-Mikazuchi's attack. I remembered that after reading stuff on blazblue wiki lol. For some reason when I first saw it I thought Tsukuyomi was like a targeting reticle instead of a shield xD I'd like to see more of Take-Mikazuchi in future..
Tokkan Posted January 18, 2013 Posted January 18, 2013 CT novel preview: http://www.fujimishobo.co.jp/sp/201301blazblue/image/blazblue_trial.pdf It's the prologue and some of the first chapter. Prologue is entirely new material, about how the three siblings came to be at the church. The bit of the first chapter covers Ragna's attack on Akitsu. Probably someone better than me can write up any other facts.
Zangelin Posted January 18, 2013 Posted January 18, 2013 CT novel preview: http://www.fujimishobo.co.jp/sp/201301blazblue/image/blazblue_trial.pdf If only i could read japanese... ;_;
zephyr07 Posted January 18, 2013 Posted January 18, 2013 Near a remote forest, there stood a solitary church building. It had white walls and a green roof, and it was built next to a large tree, almost like it was snuggling up to it. It was surrounded by gently sloping plains. Short grass grew thickly in abundance, and the occasional white and yellow of flowers dotted about the plains swayed about in the gentle breeze. In their midst, there was a small road that lazily wound its way to the nearby village… although having said that, to call it nearby would be a gross exaggeration of its actual distance. This place was formerly the site of a large scale battle. The continual existence of humanity was at stake back then; they had fought against an enormous demon— the Dark War. This was the place where all of humanity had made their final stand. Over eighty years had passed since that fight; when they had stared down the face of depair itself. Right now the sight of this place in its current state made it hard to believe that a great deal of blood and lives had been shed and lost long ago; nature had blessed the place with abundance, the peaceful and gentle scenery stretching for miles on end. In the midst of the picturesque scenery, a pleasant wind carrying the combined smell of the greenery and the earth washed over the place, and a lone female was cleaning the front entrance with a broom. She was dressed in an old-fashioned black and white habit that reached all the way to her ankles, and wore a hood over her head. She was the sister who resided inside this church. For several decades now, she had been the sole resident of this land. This was a place that had absolutely nothing. Even if the church was built in conjunction with the nearby settlement, there was no way lost souls would come all the way here to seek salvation. ----- Will do the rest of the prologue later
TPPR10 Posted January 18, 2013 Posted January 18, 2013 Okay, I am going back few pages here: On Hazama: I think what Hazama's thing in CP is "OK, Relius. You already have a plan which you can do alone. So I am going to sit back, troll some peeps and we'll see the outcome." (PS; I am pretty sure Hazama hasn't trolled Taokaka) On Litchi: I honestly find it rather sad that her and Arakune's Bad Endings in CS are now the BEST endings for her. Think about it: Bad Endings: Litchi finally decides that only thing she can do to Arakune is to put him out of his misery/Arakune erases her memory of him. She will turn into Arakune-like creature, but with no regets about him Canon Ending: She joins NOL, helps Relius to find the lynchpin what can sink the world into chaos, isn't probally any closer to turning Arakune back to normal, or curing herself on that matter. If she were to kife long enough, she would turn into Arakune.like creature, with the fact of her not being able to help Arakune probally stuck in her broken mind. Also, aside of her joining NOL, she isn't really betraying any one. All the people who could help don't offer any, and she hasn't told about this to Carl and Bang, so that they don't need to sink into the deep abyss aswell.
Tong Posted January 18, 2013 Posted January 18, 2013 Will do the rest of the prologue later Awesome! Thanks for translating it Looks like the church wasn't the three sibling's bornplace.
mitsuyoshi Posted January 19, 2013 Posted January 19, 2013 The "satellite thingy" is Take-Mikazuchi, the Nox owned by the NOL, Rachel's Tsukuyomi Unit is her absolute defense shield that she uses to stop Take-Mikazuchi's attack. Anyway, about this Take-Mikazuchi,is originally owned by Nine(Phantom) right? Could this be her Astral Heat or she will used her magic or combine it with Take-Mikkazuchi?
Kanashimi Posted January 19, 2013 Posted January 19, 2013 Anyway, about this Take-Mikazuchi,is originally owned by Nine(Phantom) right? Could this be her Astral Heat or she will used her magic or combine it with Take-Mikkazuchi? Maybe but that might only happen if she was playable which I doubt but who knows.
Tokkan Posted January 19, 2013 Posted January 19, 2013 Take-Mikazuchi as an Astral Heat would be silly as fuck. That thing wipes out entire cities and can only be fired once every 4 years, it being usable as an Astral Heat should raise more than a few eyebrows.

That thing wipes out entire cities and can only be fired once every 4 years, it being usable as an Astral Heat should raise more than a few eyebrows. I don't see why not. We've already got Makoto destroying the moon.

Chaoschao222 Posted January 19, 2013 Posted January 19, 2013 I don't see why not. We've already got Makoto destroying the moon. Little did we know the BB world is actually overpopulated with moons and Makoto is actually doubling as a merc tasked with doin' population control on the abundance of space rocks. But yeah, even though it would be silly as fuck for Take-Mikazuchi to show up, Hecatom's tvt link still applies. However, it's not even Nine's Nox anymore, so even with the story/gameplay, it wouldn't make sense for her to use it...

Don't forget that's Nine is siding with the NOL,so maybe it was her the one who fired Take-Mikazuchi in CT,but if i see all of the opinion looks like magic as her Astral is winning.
TPPR10 Posted January 19, 2013 Posted January 19, 2013 I don't see why not. We've already got Makoto destroying the moon. Am I the only one around here who knows that Makoto's AH is called "PLANET Crusher"? Just saiyan.
Chaoschao222 Posted January 19, 2013 Posted January 19, 2013 Don't forget that's Nine is siding with the NOL,so maybe it was her the one who fired Take-Mikazuchi in CT,but if i see all of the opinion looks like magic as her Astral is winning. Siding isn't exactly the best choice of words for Nine's current situation. If anything it looks like she got a taste of her own Mind Eater.
Tong Posted January 19, 2013 Posted January 19, 2013 AH are just demos of their true powers. Doesn't mean they do that all the time.
mitsuyoshi Posted January 19, 2013 Posted January 19, 2013 Siding isn't exactly the best choice of words for Nine's current situation. If anything it looks like she got a taste of her own Mind Eater. Yeah,i know about that, but because of that she automatically become one of the NOL,but really i want to see her free from the mind eater.

Chaoschao222 Posted January 19, 2013 Posted January 19, 2013 AH are just demos of their true powers. Doesn't mean they do that all the time. Unless you're Bullet
TPPR10 Posted January 19, 2013 Posted January 19, 2013 Unless you're Bullet Not sure if that would be taken as an insult forwards Bullet.
Chaoschao222 Posted January 19, 2013 Posted January 19, 2013 It's more of an insult to her Astral, which is less impressive than her DDs.
SoWL Posted January 19, 2013 Posted January 19, 2013 I dunno, making a crater just by punching sounds impressive to me.
mitsuyoshi Posted January 19, 2013 Posted January 19, 2013 It's more of an insult to her Astral, which is less impressive than her DDs. Yeah, but i really love to see the victim become black at the end of the Astral.
TPPR10 Posted January 19, 2013 Posted January 19, 2013 It's more of an insult to her Astral, which is less impressive than her DDs. That I though. She in my opinion has the third worst AH in the game, only beaten by Tsubaki and Rachel. It really looks like a DD than a AH, as she doesn't really show anything what she couldn't do normally. We even see her gauntlets transform in some of her other animations. Speaking of which, I am bit interest on where she got them.
Yazumatto Posted January 19, 2013 Posted January 19, 2013 I dunno, making a crater just by punching sounds impressive to me. She didn't punch the person per se. More like she activates that funky gauntlet of hers. Besides, crater-making is Makoto's specialty. Just ask Carl. He'd be a little-boy pancake right now if he didn't make an attempt to dodge her warning punch in his storyline.
