I recall haku-men giving Ragna warnings from time to time, though. Although Haku-men is hardly nice about it either so I can't blame Ragna for still hating him (despite the fact that ignoring Haku-men's warnings leads to Ragna getting fooked). I just wish Ragna would shut his mouth all too often. He comes across less as a "tough guy" and more as petulant child.

I'm pretty sure Hakumen never warned him, he has no reason to. In fact in every loop in CT except the one Noel appears in Hakumen tries to kill him without so much as a word.

Well, it's not so much a warning as statement. He's constantly telling Ragna that his power is one that will destroy the world ("Hence why I have to kill you now!"). As per usual BB-standards though Haku-men never bothers to actually explain anything...

It never really looked like he had any idea about the Black Beast.

It seemed like he was killing Nu because she was a clone of his sister and he couldn't let it stand.

I don't think that's necessarily true, I mean he went and destroyed all the Cauldrons and killed all the other Murakumos prior to Nu as well. Or at least the other Cauldrons since maybe Nu was the only one that actually got finished(?), I don't know. Wasn't he surprised to see Nu actually looked like Saya when he first saw her, meaning it was an afterthought of him already being there for a reason? Like Jubei or Rachel probably explained what's going on, but I can't remember all the details or if that was actually mentioned.

But it's my understanding he had a purpose being there and had already been to a bunch of other ones, and this one just so happened to have Jin / Nu / and everything escalated quickly from there lol.

Maybe someone else can clarify.

I guess in Ragna's case Hakumen probably thinks there is no point in doing so. He's a threat to the world whether he knows it or not, until proven otherwise anyway.

Did Hakumen know about the time loops. I felt like he thought, if he let him go there was a chance that somehow, someway the loop was going to continue or the Black Beast would come around.

Ah, he HAS to know about the loops since he experienced it himself as Jin.

Does Haku-men exist in any other loops besides his "own" if that makes any sense? That's another reason Haku-men is #1 candidate for death; he doesn't "truly" belong to this timeline, as his own got fooked.

Haku-men really has been a shapeshifter throughout the series, but I can't see him ending up as anything besides a good guy in the end.

Hakumen is basically an anomaly isn't he, his entire existence is the result of screwing with the timeline and he's clearly not meant to exist considering there's already another Jin.

It never felt like Blazblue had a protagonist to me.

I know Ragna is supposed to be one but he never really felt any more special than any other character to me.

I just had to steal Zidane's avatar and do this:

At this moment with how many seperate character plots are ongoing , I feel the same way.

It feels like there isn't one main plot to follow with how much is currently happening. Ragna's beef with Terumi just looks less and less significant with stuff like Relius current goal in CP.

How there is tons of stuff happening at the same time in the same world though is something i love. Instead of one single red line.

I honestly have to feel sorry for Ragna. He has potential to be nice guy, but almost every one is either threating him like shit, insulting him or humiliating him. And yes, he might not have any clue what is going on most of the time, but he does seem to know some stuff (he did afterall tell Jin that he cannot really control Yukianesa in his current mind set).

Usually in BlazBlue the arcade story is parallel to the official story mode...but if that's the case, I hope they never put Litchi in the story. Her arcade arc irritates me to tears.

If you mean her CP arcade, then oh god, this! I alway thinkt hat Litchi will have a bittersweet ending, but no way I want this to happen to her D:

P.S. I hope that Relius' CSE ending will be sort of canon.

Well if you exclude the part where he is a mass murderer...

Yeah, the way they portray him in the actual story mode is a bit at odds with how he's described. I mean, he goes out of his way to spare Arakune, and pretty much every other person when he can, but then we read in his background story that he mows down regular people like grass. wut

People forget that Ragna is the most wanted criminal in the world, and that anyone may want his head or arm.

With that considered, he's probably the nicest and one of the most caring guys in BB.

And I think he only mows down NOL people.

I think Memory of Blue might have been retconned. Hazama says something along the lines of Ragna the Bloodedge causing few or no casualties at the Akitsu NOL base. I guess having a protagonist that indiscriminately slaughters military officials was a little too extreme.

What? He was gonna kill the shit out of Arakune. He was only prevented by Litchi (Which he called a hooker).

Yeah, but if he really wanted to he could have just killed Arakune whether Litchi wanted to or not. Instead he stopped just because some random lady asked him not to.

Where does Hazama say that? It's not in the CT Reconstruction.
