Did anyone notice that ch JC< J2C<2B ect links now on standing opponent now?

Our we supposed to play defensive or what i'm trying to say is there a wrong way to play this character?

Sometimes I feel like I'm playing this character like a zoner that relies alot on her drive before I play offensive.

The reason for that is because j.2c forces the opponent in a crouching state (unless they were in the air of course) in CP

edit: probably to compensate for the loss of fatal counter properties

l think you should just go out of your way to get that one hit and confirm it into 7k+ damage. because who needs a gameplan when you have habakiri loops, amirite.

on a serious note, j2c fatal was rather useless at least for extend, unless it got faster or otherwise better crouching state is probably a stronger option.

...but throw whiff with j.2c hearing "fatal" was the best thing :(

force crouch is really awesome, glad to have it on both j.2c and 6b, especially combined with Ikutachi and 6b 6c gatling. Means you can probably setup a blockstring with a stein allowing you to combo into 6b (or gatling into it without a gap), and then get a decent combo midscreen from it.

I'm guessing something like 2b 6a ]d[ 6b 6c ikutachi etc. Or maybe even 5d 6d 236d 6b 6c ikutachi etc. Sounds much more practical than the current (whatever into) 3c ]d[ j.b/c setups. Just hope it's still possible with the other changes. As for j.2c, that most likely means j.c j.2c string is even better. Crouching combo on hit, double overhead on block, mixing it up with j.c 2b (As opposed to it being kind of risky and generally not worth the reward in the extend, unless you have stein backup). Even more hype for bbcp :keke:

The j.c was a CH, otherwise it doesn't combo into j.2c on standing.

and her corner combos are looking ... very cs1-esq... but Im sure we already addressed that

I was hype to watch her Tsunugi in the combo but it seemed to just fizzle out -- hopefully C0r will figure out some maddeningly technical and fun combos for us to use (this is my real hope)

Her OD.... god now it just seems so silly... I mean sure with 100 heat you should be able to do some sickening dmg but It kinda seems like too much for too little effort you know?

I'll wait until I see Mus in videos consistently busting out OD loops on people before deciding it's practical or not. I think people are just overreacting because they want to complain about Mu still being good, despite the fact that Amane and Hakumen also have 10k+ OD combos with full meter...it reminds me of when Naoto's SMP loops were discovered, everyone thought she would be SSS+ tier but then look how good that character turned out to be.

I dunno man it looks awfully easy comparatively to over OD shit Ive seen...at least hakumen has to do an actual combo instead of the same command over and over.... I was kinda hoping to see another use for her OD besides this after it was discovered

I have no doubt mu will be good - well whatever that really means - and people will complain about her regardless... even if she is nerfed to hell

I dunno I guess we just havent seen enough footage yet - and we know alot of these JP players will drop mu once Izayoi comes out so I get a feeling we will see even less ? at least for another week or so

Problem is even without Overdrive CP mu-12 is already a good character.

I think the problem is ppl were just expecting mu-12 to get nerfed alot.

The BB community didnt want her on the game and if she was on the game they wanted her to be cs1 tsubaki/rachel status.

That can be said about every character.

In fact, I'd be a little worried if an overdrive made the character.
