I'm going to guess the latter will be the wiser option if only because it sounds like he would have to stop his offense to eat and gain his meter back.
SolxBaiken Posted July 1, 2014 Posted July 1, 2014 If this intel is true, then it sounds like Sin might be the Order Sol successor I was hoping him to be, long as his "eating" is a quick burst and comes with the ability to actively "eat" and cancel raw "eating" into a blow back attack, I can deal with this. Though Sin is already a big enough joke without going the extra mile to make him goofier. Japanese humor, smh also this was expected, now give me a real character reveal ' x'
Poultrygeist Posted July 1, 2014 Posted July 1, 2014 TBH I'm not really surprised by his gimmick being something silly since he was kind of Sol's chew toy in Overture and was usually more of a comic relief character along with Izuna, at least compared to Sol. I just hope he doesn't end up being some gimmick reliant piece of garbage.

Makes sense, I can only imagine the memes and jokes that will come about from this character once he hits NA. I hope his goofy eating habits are balanced out by his awesome specials and supers, if they are anything like his Overture move set. Slightly off topic; do you guys think Testament and Raven play too similarly to one another, with the whole "status effect and traps" playstyle?

I see where you come from with that, but the only trap I can think of for Raven is those slow needles he had in the boss fight.

Here's hoping that they are not pull in the ms card and not letting them be compatible w each other You can use PS4 sticks on PS3 as universally recognized gamepads (that means no home button), but not the other way around.

SolxBaiken Posted July 1, 2014 Posted July 1, 2014 The way I see it [assuming he is like Order Sol] just inputting the command will have him whip out a leg of mutton and take a quick chomp before putting it back, holding the command will make him continue munching, I assume that as his gauge fills from the held input the meat will slowly disappear and continuing to hold on a full charge will just have him comically gnawing on the bone, and cancelling the raw charge will have him yell something like "Osu!!" or "Yatta~!" and the shout will knock the opponent back. #nowtowaitforgunblitz
Blade Posted July 1, 2014 Posted July 1, 2014 Things to (maybe) expect from Sin: Multi-hit overhead (Reckless Thrust) similar to Venom's Mad Struggle thingie. Omni-Directional Ride the Lightning (does 3 dashes and you can control the direction). Voltic Eye (think Ky's Stun Rise Forcebreak from AC) Really really fast dashing (a nod to Blast Drive). He probably even has a pole-vault move like Kliff did. Heck, we might even see references to Ky himself in him, like Holy Brand (which is basically like a Gunblitz sidestep move) and Zerofied chain (Ky's command grab string from GG2).
