Hey, do we know if Elphelt can backdash in Shotgun Stance?  I know she can't jump.

 

Also, she has no high/low during Shotgun Stance, though she has a roll for crossup as well as a command throw, right?

Did anyone of you bother ever to import the JP version of BlazBlue? Did that game get an english language patch as well?

I think most NTSC-JP games come with English subs.  It's more surprising that this one doesn't and is getting a patch for it later, but they were probably really pushing to have the game out before the holidays.  This is the first fighting game for the PS4 right?

 

I also seem to remember people getting the "Asia version" (China, Taiwan, Korea, etc) of BBCP because that had English audio, which JP versions usually lack.

Are you guys getting the early PSN Japanese version or are some of you waiting the extra week or so to get the US version? I wouldn't mind waiting that much seeing how I have finals around the JP release date anyways, but what about you?

Was planning to get the NA version but I think I will snatch the JP version in a couple days. Since I am european I will have to pay a premium anyway, so why not save 2 weeks? My only concern is that it will take them a year to patch english menu later. Then again, its a console fighting game. Not like theres going to be much in the menu.

Yes she can backdash and she technically doesn't have high/low in Shotgun Stance but I saw Pachi creating high/low mixups with the strawberry grenade while in Shotgun Stance and yeah she has a roll and command throw when she's in it.

CP did have english voices already in it when it came out but the texts were full japanese and still are.

This is the first time for an ASW game that you can get the JP version but still switch to english texts which is quite thoughtful of them for the western audience.

Probably should mention this: 11/30 Japan time (today) is the last day you'll get Elphelt for free with a digital pre-order. After that, the only ways to get her free will either be a physical copy or waiting for the US release. If you're still wondering whether to get Xrd JP release digitally and you want to try out El, you should consider pre-ordering ASAP.

AKA, I remember you playing Millia back in the day. Have you switched to Zato-1, or are you just curious? I feel like you were playing Robo-Ky at some point, so maybe you left Millia a while ago.
