Bad RAM management: I highly doubt this is the case as we've not seen this happen before with Arc as I'm aware but all the signs are pretty much there that Xrd has "RAM Issues" as a lot of the problems are fixed by a simple restart. I do not know programming but I've become very familiar with this sort of error in the past due to the different games I've seen it in (old Armored Core titles were actually notorious for similar problems). To add to this possibility it is a new engine UE3 iirc? That the game is built in, which this may simply stem from Arc not having experience in dealing with the engine and its nuances. The second Yukikaze covered to an extent: It can also be caused by a faulty read from disk or even a corrupted file (far more rare than it sounds). This problem is also often solved in the same manner as above though is far more easily recreated. If we can regularly produce this problem, it leads me to believe this is the case. (I also make mistakes and am not a programmer so don't eat me alive if i'm mistaken)

I was actually pleasantly surprised by the loading times of the digital. Have you Digi or Disk? I have heard about these kind of errors on Disk versions before. (not this game).Yh it's the disk version. Anyone know how to install the game to my HD? Sometimes i suddenly find the lobbies being empty when it's written that 50+ person is inside. Anyway I just press home and relaunch the game and everything works fine.

However, judging from other games I've played, overall the online functionality works better in a PS4 than in a PS3. So I want to imagine Xrd may work *a bit* better. Or well, who knows. I'll try that myself in 1 week or 2, hopefully

Thank god it seems the game autosaves after every match, so nothing is lost. The game crashed once on me right after I finished a Ramlethal M.O.M stage, rebooted ps4 and did the same stage normally. Never happened again in the hours or so I've put into M.O.M. I've barely played any M.O.M, but I have crashed once in training mode. If you were playing for a long period of time without switching modes, maybe that has something to do with it? Anyway, I posted the details about what I experienced in the PS3 performance issues thread. Anything involving a freeze, crash, or hang should probably be reported somewhere where we can keep track of them. If we notice a pattern and can get solid repro steps, we can send it to ArcSys so they'll fix it. I'm hoping no one has had issues with crashes during VS game play? I played casuals yesterday for 4+ with about 15 people on 3 set ups and there were no crashes, so that's a good sign. It's not even like some of the assets are missing. It looks like the background just refuses to render past the bottom third of the screen, but that's weird since I think rendering usually starts at the top? Now, given that characters are hidden while using 5D attacks, I think that maybe a 50% gray 2D plane appeared behind the characters but in front of the background and is blocking the view (would explain why you'd lean behind it when using some attacks). Did you try reloading the stage before rerunning the console? *Edit* Also, did you encounter this while playing in training mode, or did it occur when you first loaded into training mode?

As an additional problem, my friends can't even see my matches in the player match search. I have to essentially host a lobby room, name it "private" and kick anyone who joins who wasn't invited. It's frustrating.

Update on this topic: I was told by staff from EB Games that Xrd might not be carried by them in the end as they have no estimate date in which the game will arrive. Probably tied to the LE delay. FS and BB have almost run out of copies leaving VGP as the sole more or less reliable purchase of Xrd.

Does the LE come with the complete soundtrack, or just the vocal songs? Are some of the songs in the soundtrack are extremely low quality bit-rate (Sin's theme) or are the versions floating around just dummy files? Are people panicking over nothing? Is the game as ridiculously fun as it looks? Will I get another warning for this post?

Unless you like getting robbed by your countries Tax system, importing.

From what I've heard, the songs are consistently good quality People love to lose their shit over things that don't matter. The game is good. Don't worry about it. Warnings? Not so sure :P

The LE got delayed cause trucker strikes prevented some of the bonus-item-materials from arriving. They already had said they had the discs for the SE ready for shipping in the note of theirs saying they will delay the LE to assure people they could still get the basic game. Maybe some locations just don't store the game cause it's niche (heard horror stories about Canada) but if you're in America you should be able to preorder it on gamestop and get it on the 16th.

I talked with the EB Games people and most of them didn't even have clue it was coming out until they checked the database. Oh well, this is what I get for not being able to import. I suppose I'll just have to remain patient.

Epic Posted December 9, 2014 Posted December 9, 2014 Are you sure the problem isn't on your side? I've played from the UK with people in french/german lobbies and the delay was 2-4 almost all the time, unless someone used a toaster instead of a modem.
