I know I have to learn and evolve, I try to do that as often as I can, but like I said, I hate it when someone isn't fun to play against (aka troll from the get go) I regularly play with some of the best players in North America, we have Rachel's, Mus and lambdas, but it's FUN to play against them, it's FUN to lose to them, it's FUN to win against them, cause they don't spam and troll

There are different ways of playing characters. One above-average person's playstyle doesn't invalidate someone else's playstyle.

Playing a zoning game isn't trolling. Using ("Spamming") projectiles isn't trolling. Trolling is like.. intentionally fucking around, screwing with someone. Maybe that's what you meant but it sounded like you equated the two.

I have yet another pet peeve:

When I'm in Ranked Match and all (Yes, every single person) keeps declining my battle offer. At this point, I'm starting to believe that it's because I use Lambda and her Ranking is a bit high. :I

Also, when I'm forced to join a Room that has more than 3 people in it counting myself. I honestly despise having to wait through some 4-6 battles before I get a chance to fight. Even worse is when the Room gets disbanded before my turn even comes.

i'm talking about playing someone who uses a lot of gimmicks. The kind of things that can work well once, but once you show the gimmick, it doesn't work so hot anymore. But that doesn't matter if you switch characters and you play that character gimmicky too.

it's also the kind of thing people do in ranked a lot. Because you don't get many games against the same person in ranked.

Seeing a notification pop up saying that the person I just beat sent me a message, getting excited and hoping for an entertaining piece of hatemail, but then I find out he was only sending a GGs message.

Haha, some of those might have been me. I tend to send GGs to anyone whether I win or lose to them out of respect for their time and if I genuinely enjoyed the match.

Have you tried any of the following?

-Doing a throw after you've already won.

-Spamming of any sort (for instance throws).

-Corpse beating.

-RC Fenrir only to kill the opponent with a J.5A.

-RC a finishing blow and then taunting.

-Challenging them to a children's card game.

Any one of these is BOUND to get you at least some hatemail.

Its weird I am use to getting hatemail for doing things BADLY (that somehow works...sometimes). Like 3C MORE NOOB, or spam throw more asshole.

The only time I felt it was legit worth hate was when I played Ragna mirror and Blood Kain invincibility through their 2D whilst I was in a corner and corner carried them to the over side ended by Devoured by Darkness for 7.2k. He then starting being childish over the mic about my mother and all that jazz and kicked me.

Then I play Persona 4 Arena and touch of death someone after using a One More Burst combo on me as Naoto. Even that got no hate mail, he just simply said "nice combo", not sure if sarcasm or he just understood the risk of One More Burst combo and accepted it.

It's worth remembering that people will get upset over a rather broad spectrum of things in a game. Purple Throws, Astrals/IKs, spamming, jumping (believe it or not this HAS happened), using mics, not using mics, taunting, etc. Honestly, I just go about hatemail like I am earning boyscout badges. The more I get, the happier I become because there really is no way to tell what will piss off the other person and when. Also you should not feel bad for that Ragna mirror. If anything, the other guy should have been taking notes.

I get annoyed this happesn:

When I realise that I'm playing a guy that's not so good, so I choose a character that I have no idea how to play. In most cases, if you have knowledge of the game in general (knowing when to throw, good mixups[jump in's etc.] and you can still win with any character. Then, in one match you'd lose and then they'd just leave. Especially when you lose to something STUPID. They don't even say last match.... they just take their leave, no message saying "I had to go..."

Edit: Oh and someone who starts up a ranked match and doesn't even play you, but you can hear them play a different game in the background.

Haha! I've never had that happen to me. I'd be like, oh well, free win. Though I have had people that just sat there the whole time, so that might have been the case

I've fought some Arakune that did nothing but press 5D the entire match. I countered by using 6D (Bang) the entire match. Once I got 50 heat, I went FRKZ and kept on using 6D.

He didn't even tech, so I got a huge, blue combo that stopped dealing damage after the 5th or so hit.

I think I also fought some Noel player that did the exact same thing, but I'm not too sure about that. (Also, I think that guy was using 5C, not 5D.)

When you're in that random room where everyone but one guy has no lag, yet the guy that's lagging "supposedly" has the best connection to you, but you can't do anything about it if you wanna play -_- frikkin plat spamming purple throws and bats

There's always barrier guard for that. If you're not sure what attacks are and are not unblockable anti-airs, always use barrier guard when guarding in air.
