Its not "someone's spot" unless both players have agreed to a set - if the other guy who won accepts the "intruder" thats really the guy you should be pissed at if anyone lol - all he has to do is ball up and say "we're doin a set" or something like that. But most ppl are lazy so lol also Im that guy who steals spots - all day long - pretty sure Ive done it to you specifically

Going online every Eltnum is consistently getting 3K meterless without dropping the combo. And I'm just sitting here with my Yuzu like :l Also, the amount of mashing going on in UNiB is insane. People DO NOT want to block. For one its annoying, but when you cant meaty throw them, it's even worse. And that's another thing in this game, you cant fucking meaty throw in UNiB, they seem to be invincible a few frames after they get up, which is infuriating when you dont have an overhead. Fuck Eltnum. And while I'm here, fuck Noel.

Icekin Posted August 3, 2014 Posted August 3, 2014 Reminds me of a Nanase I fought in UNIB. Everytime I blocked his random slidy move into overhead, I punished. Then he got mad because I punished it with my baby-steps Gordeau. >_> As a newer and really bad Nanase player, I can tell you that it is extremely tempting to use that move when doing pressure; It's her main combo tool, It moves her forward a lot, and it's a special, so you sometimes reflexively go into it because of the old normals > command normals > specials > super chain of canceling (which isn't at all what you should do, but it's a thing). It's also her only move that she can cancel into that's overhead, so if he's not used to using system mechanics to open you up, he'll run into a wall when you just block low all day and he'll try his luck eventually. That said, the fact it's understandable doesn't change that it's dumb and he should really learn from those punishes. If he's going to use it at all, it should be when he's just far enough to cancel 236a into 6b (the overhead) before the slide hits, so it happens quicker, and only if he has CS or 100 meter to cancel into 214C to make it safe.

This. Last time it happened, we both just left and went into the booth right next to it. I don't think anyone ever stole my spot and didn't get told off by the player left.

When the opposing player, friend or not, groans that I pick a Top Tier character. 2. When the opposing player will comment that they only lost because I picked Top Tier. 3. When the opposing player tells me to STOP doing something online because it won't work against a "real" opponent even though it's helping me win. 4. Last but not least, people who can't accept that they lost simply because they got outplayed. It's not a crime or an embarrassment to say that you lost because the other person is better than you. It's only an embarrassment when you make excuses as to why you lost.
