Chrono Phantasma Story Discussion [fun tentatively allowed again]

Kind of hard to make any sense of the story translation/summary posts from the first few pages or so.

Six heroes story makes sense, but stuff like "Starts out with tao and ragna at a restaurant" is stuff I can't find while clickling through any of these 3 story paths.

Also I couldn't find anything for the CP path but that might just be me not looking for it hard enough. Its just super confusing. Everything in one post would be great to follow through,

but as it stands right now there is one bit of information for Six Heroes Story Episode 3 on page 5 and then again on page 35.... just an example, you see what I mean.

Its just insanely hard to follow and track down, but I dont want to sound unthankful. Just saying.

Because I don't own the game, I am following the story slowly through youtube videos lol. Although I have read the summaries done by users on this forum and korean users in other sources, it's better to see the story thoroughly XD

I did skip to the ending because I really love Nu-13 and Ragna that I wanted to know what happens to them at the end XP

I could make a summary of the 6 Heroes episodes from what I have watched so far.

That's going to be difficult... you can try going through the first few pages to see the whole BBCP plot.

Somehow Nu was able to obtain a memory that not even Noel could remember (Noel cannot remember her past before getting adopted into the Vermillion family). Nu tells Ragna about Noel's past. Apparently during the war between Sector Seven and NOL, because Sector 7 wanted to win badly, they tried to create a Black Beast. The ones who were going to fuse were Terumi and Mu-12/Noel, but since Noel had memories of Saya, who knew that Terumi was the one responsible of messing up Saya's family, where Jin goes weird and Ragna losing his arm, she did not want to fuse with someone who was the culprit of causing that. Apparently at the time, Takemikazuchi had fired upon them, where the experiment was cancelled and Noel had been "saved" from getting fused with Terumi. Nu says not even she would want to fuse with someone who had taken her family away from her. Ragna wonders how she would have a "family" when she was artificially made.

Nu gains noel's memories because she tricked noel into synchronising with her.

Tricked? It looked to me like she just flat out jumped her from behind and forced her to synchronize.

The is actually Episode 7 of the Chrono Phantasma path:

Starts with Ragna and Tao eating at a restaurant. Ragna's thinking about the encounter with the Imperator and how she looks and acts like Saya. His wounds have apparantly healed, perhaps thanks to the Kaka hot springs. Suddenly Ragna is attacked by Bullet, who recognizes him as the Grim Reaper. However things suddenly take a turn due to Tao, who says Bullet is dressed like an exhibitionist and starts calling her "ass girl," and Bullet gets angry because she takes pride in the uniform of her squad and she runs off. Get options, choose "look outside."

Outside, Ragna immediately encounters Tager. They have their usual exchange. Ragna wants to find Noel. Ragna vs Tager. Ragna defeats Tager and communicates with Kokonoe, demanding Noel's location. Kokonoe says that Noel and Makoto went to find Tsubaki to try and deal with her. Ragna is worried about Noel going after the weilder of Izayoi, so he rushes off. Kokonoe asks if he should be so hasty since his left arm is still healing.

Ragna runs on and encounters Arakune. They have a jibberish encounter that I'm not even going to try and make sense of right now. Ragna beats him and then is spotted by Tsubaki. She's going to try and kill him under the order of the Imperator. They fight, he wins.

Ragna says that the Sealed Weapon Izayoi was just the prototype for the mass production of the Murakumo Units, so it's no match for him. There's some exchange about why she is too weak, which I believe boils down to him saying that she's not fighting for something she believes in. She starts to mutter the names of her friends, Makoto, Jin, and Noel. Ragna raises his sword to try and destroy Izayoi, swings, but his blade is blocked by somebody. Hakumen.

Hakumen and Ragna have a bit of verbal sparring -- masked bastard this, dark one that -- when Hazama suddenly shows up. He does his usual Tsubaki bashing and then orders Phantom to take out the trash. Phantom uses a transfer spell and summons a giant coffin, which contains the Sword of Hades, Nu. Nu activates with that robotic voice and fights Ragna.

After the fight there's an anime cutscene that has an ass shot of Nu. Ragna's not able to activate BlazBlue, and Hazama becomes Terumi with his hair standing on end, and taunts Ragna by explaining that the Imperator is using phenomenon intervention, and thanks to Takamagahara her intervention is more powerful than that of the Successor of the Azure. He says that the whole of Ikaruga is in the palm of the Imperator's hand.

Ragna tries to attack him, and Terumi goes into a lengthy rant about how the banquest has begun, it's time to suffer and dance and die, to scream a miserable song, and open the Heavenly Cave (Nemesis Horizon).

Ragna actually fights Amane and not Arakune before fighting Tsubaki. And this part is actually Episode 8 of the Chrono Phantasma path:

Ragna's alternate story path has him get away from Tao and Bullet in the confusion of their scuffle and as he's walking away, he succumbs to the injuries Phantom gave him. He dreams flashback to his childhood with Sister and wakes up in Celica's lap. She introduces herself, but being near her causes him to lose function in his right eye and arm, so he kinda freaks out and runs off to go find Noel, but can't stop remembering the Sister, Jin, and Saya as he does so. Tao meets Celica, calls her "stupid hair person" because of her ahoge, and I guess Tager shows up too.

Time actually resets or something back to the restaurant after Episode 7 and Ragna's injuries are actually from Nu even though the fight didn't happen. He freaks out and leaves the restaurant and then runs into Celica. The rest of Episode 8 is Carl fighting Relius and Ragna being captured by Kagura.

Im Kind of New at this, but I heard that there was a new set of Teach Me Ms Litchi (might make up for the serious Lack Of Tao) in CP. so I wanted to know if there was any new info of the blazblue world itself(Politics, NOL, Duodecium, Sector Seven, etc.)

We know she got those memories after synchronizing, but even if they synchronized, it was never explained "how" she obtained those memories while synchronizing. Noel herself doesn't remember it, but Nu was somehow able those access those memories while synchronizing.

You've seen celica cloned and have all her memories intact while being in a vessel, so it isn't that much of a syretch to assume in the process of cloning saya some memories leaked into some of the murakumos. Nu's arcade in CT showed she also had parts of saya's memories, just that they were jumbled and messed up.

Nu's able to access those memories most likely because unlike Noel, she's a murakumo that was tempered completely. In CP noel has that one weird moment when she calls ragna nii-sama, which shows the memories are there but she can't consciously tap into them.

Also Nu tricked Noel into acknowledging her as Noel. As the inheritor of the Azure Noel's observation power is strong enough to warp reality. By acknowledging Nu as Noel she basically made Nu a second Noel (memories , cadence and all)

It is more or less the same as Ragna's arcade mode, at the end of episode 6 Amaterasu(?) rewind(?) time to the point where Ragna and Taokaka meet Bullet however since Ragna tried to use the Blazblue against Nu his soul remembered the wounds from the battle and Ragna passed out and woke up in Celicas lap while she healed his wounds.

Also in Episode while Ragna visited "Sister"s grave he met Izanami and Phantom and was wounded by Phantom and since phantom used magic it was hard to treat so Ragna was put in Kaka's hot spring for healing..

There is a user on youtube that has been diligently uploading episodes of the story mode of the game (2 per day), and you can watch that. If you don't understand Japanese however, I guess I could make a summary for those.

Well I have the game myself, I wouldnt come here for information if I dont own the game myself. I think most people are here to just get some kind of translation per se.

As I said on the last page, I am clicking from episode to episode but some translations or summarys in here are just so wildly taken out of order that I cant find this ingame.

I would be happy to make a full summary if I had the time. I don't own the game but I love the story, hence why I just watch the story off youtube lol

As confusing and crazy as the story is, it's also awesome and very interesting. I love it as well.

I've been wondering something about Rachel. The reason why Rachel got weaker is because she sent Ragna back into the past? Am I reading that right? But that shouldn't be the reason why her magic is dwindling, is it? Also, even though both can use true magic, shouldn't a human like Phantom be weaker than a vampire like Rachel when it comes to true magic.

Rachel uses sorcery, not magic. Also, sending someone over 90 years to the past sounds like a feat for anyone, including Rachel.

Ha, she was actually experimenting with traveling through time via sorcery in her TMMLR episode. Never thought it would've showed up in the story mode for real.

True magic is sorcery and vice versa. It's just another one of those localization goofs, I believe.

I thought only those with great power could do something like that.

I'm rather surprised Trinity isn't a magic user. Speaking of Trinity...I seriously hope she is alive. I don't want her or Luna to be gone. ;_;

It's been a while, but they're not the same. The localization did screw up a couple times in referring to Phantom using sorcery when she uses magic, but they use different words in the Japanese version. I believe magic is 魔法 and sorcery is 魔術? PROBABLY got the word for sorcery wrong. Rachel says that sorcery is different and stronger than magic in her TMMLR episode even. Sorcery is stronger than magic which is stronger than ars magus.

Infinite Gravity was only used to contain the Black Beast and compress it into a core. She used phenomena intervention to move Nirvana into attacking Relius though, and then she passed out after telling him not to underestimate her.

Oh, is that right? So, has Phantom actually used sorcery before then? Sorcery is stronger than magic, but it's strange how Phantom can seemingly hold down Rachel in a fight. But that's probably because Rachel's sorcery is diminishing? I'm still wondering why Rachel's sorcery is dwindling. Far as I can tell, there doesn't seem to be a reason for that. It just seems like the writer had to make her weaker somehow to prevent her from making it almost one-sided for her.
