Dawn of Musou Posted July 14, 2014 Posted July 14, 2014 The way Kogatan went for the FC D Dividers was the best Ragna play I've seen.
Icefang Posted July 14, 2014 Posted July 14, 2014 I actually wanted Dora to make it to grand finals so I could witness the manliest grand finals ever.
D.R.F. Posted July 14, 2014 Posted July 14, 2014 The way Kogatan went for the FC D Dividers was the best Ragna play I've seen. He was ballsy thats for sure. Just dropped too much
OmniSScythe Posted July 14, 2014 Posted July 14, 2014 stuff If I remember right it's because he tried to bait Galileo burst 3 times during their set when he could just press B to kill. Dora made the same mistake which cost him his set.
TeeJay Posted July 14, 2014 Posted July 14, 2014 Soooo many burst baits. Dora had a burst bait at the start of a round. I forgot all about the SG versus Tsujikawa match and interesting top 16s--interesting all around. I wonder how the JP players are enjoying their EVO and hope they return. Supposedly, Yoshiki has a bottomless stomach, contrasting with how well he pulls off Yoshiko. I'm still happy that there was a Tager in top 8. I hope Dogura wasn't trying to style too much. I doubt it. I mean, this happened?
Dreize Posted July 14, 2014 Posted July 14, 2014 Felt kinda bad for Dogura. Dude made a few big mistakes that really cost him. For instance, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8DaaLWQheI4#t=1589 Teched right into that distortion and didn't block costing him the game.
IndigoNovember Posted July 14, 2014 Posted July 14, 2014 Yeah, Dogura was playing really well up until the end, where it felt like he started to choke a bit. That example that Dreize posted was a big one. A few other examples were: in the final match he didn't barrier block the Crush Triggers which he was barrier blocking before. He dropped his rekka which he hadn't been dropping before. He also Burst badly in the last round and got caught by the 2nd hit of Tsubame Gaeshi.
zaeris Posted July 14, 2014 Posted July 14, 2014 It does sound like pressure got to him, coming from winners to loser bracket getting it resets. He was quite devastated after his lost since he had many chance to clinch the match a few time. In the end there can only be one winner and Galileo is probably the happiest one with that comeback, as they say coming back from the brink of death 5 times, the 6match looks like Galileo had the most control in that set.
Airk Posted July 14, 2014 Posted July 14, 2014 It was a little sad, but at the end of the day, Dogura is still going home with a pretty reasonable pile of loot. It's not like the whole pot goes to first place or something. $7000 or so is nothing to shake a stick at. Insane good time.
Zedar90 Posted July 15, 2014 Posted July 15, 2014 What... Lambda and Celica coming to the Arcades this fall. Celica fights together with Minerva, Lambda is based on Nu's Luna form. source: http://gamestalk.net/bbcp/ & http://blog.livedoor.jp/od3/archives/52077925.html

Luminos564 Posted July 15, 2014 Posted July 15, 2014 Say whut? Celica and Lamb-chops? Well...this is unexpected.
SoWL Posted July 15, 2014 Posted July 15, 2014 I think some clone blues is leaking out of the story mode. We'll see how Celica differs from Carl and Relius, but I'm not sure whether Lambda is worth bringing back. I suppose more variety never hurts.
Tokkan Posted July 15, 2014 Posted July 15, 2014 I wonder how Celica and Lambda will be added to the console version. Though it's interesting, this means my idea that there will be a BB announcement at ArcRevo is not as far fetched as everyone tells me it is, even though the BB tourney at Arc Revo is the larger of the 3 tournaments. People keep telling me "we just got a patch" and "Arc's too busy at the moment". Arc was "too busy" when P4U2 suddenly had its stealth announcement.
Verimeloni Posted July 15, 2014 Posted July 15, 2014 Why not Jubei? They can't just make Jubei stand on his sword or some other excuse to enlarge his hitbox? Why Lambda? How Lambda?
Tokkan Posted July 15, 2014 Posted July 15, 2014 Why Lambda? How Lambda? The blog post says she'll have different settings for her drive attacks though her "feel of use" will be similar.
LeDom Posted July 15, 2014 Posted July 15, 2014 Guess no one can really stay dead in Blazblue. Then what about console? More DLC or BBCP2?
Luminos564 Posted July 15, 2014 Posted July 15, 2014 The blog post says she'll have different drive attacks though her "feel of use" will be similar. Oh so they're changing up her Drive attacks? That's cool. I was just thinking how they'd add another Murakumo who was originally designed to replace Nu-13 on the roster. But Nu-13 is back now so having her be the same would have been kinda...lazy? Color me interested. Then what about console? More DLC or BBCP2? I'm hoping for no new versions or rather, no PS4-only versions (something Mori expressed interest in). That'd just kill me financially. DLC or patch would be best for me but eh, we'll see. Still exciting news though.
Tokkan Posted July 15, 2014 Posted July 15, 2014 Wow and no Bloodedge? Seriously? Bloodedge is literally just a crippled Ragna, why do you want that? You technically play as Bloodedge any time in the story when the game disallows Ragna from using his drive.
Diveman Posted July 15, 2014 Posted July 15, 2014 I don't know what to say, but hey more characters is good I guess
Verimeloni Posted July 15, 2014 Posted July 15, 2014 Bloodedge could have been a cool Order-Sol like character, besides we have 2 versions of most the main characters but not Ragna which is funny. Rather Bloodedge than Lambda.
