She would need to be more rushdown with faster normals or something and her drive covers her approach. And she needs to use her ponytail blade in some manner. I will never let that unused weapon get away.

Guess we'll find out when the full details from the article surface. Celica looks nice. Dat intro with Ragna, lol. I'm sure she's going to be similar to Rise in terms of the vibe of her animations. I'm very intrigued by the addition of Lambda personally. Relius ended up being so pleasantly different in play style from Carl that I'm pretty excited to see how they're going to make Lambda different. This fall is definitely shaping up to be a blast for anime fans. Hope these characters don't take too long to appear in console but I guess we'll see.

Do you think I even kind of care what's easier? If they were going to do this, it should have at LEAST been under the illusion of a new character by using a recolor and calling it a different name, giving some different properties to the moves, etc. Instead we get someone who is already in the game over far better choices? No, you won't make this acceptable to me.

The picture earlier shows her losing her visor and in a perhaps bulkier suit. It's too early for us to make the assumptions, I think. IF she is a remodel and rehash of Nu, I'm sad and insulted, but after having time to think about it, if they do it right, I always wanted a sub.

Every time a new character is announced, particularly a long sought after character, we have to clean up this thread incredibly hard from wild speculation and non-gameplay nonsense. Hype is fine and I love it, but keep it under control. If it gets out of control I'll temp lock the thread. It's already getting pretty dumb in here.

It gives a shoulder-pad type look to her at first glance. Paired with her neck..piece..thing and her expression, she kind of has a soldierish vibe to me.

No, you won't make this acceptable to me. The fact that they've made the decision to re-introduce Lambda over Jubei or Nine means that they had their reasons to do so. It might be because they only had the time and resources for 1.5 characters, it might be because she's more relevant in the upcoming story, or it might be because Zeta Condom wasn't getting paid enough. The end result remains the same: we get an extra playable character, she's not the exact same copy of Nu, and you don't have to buy her if you don't want to. But hey, we're all adults here, if you want to complain about videogames on the internet, who am I to stop you? Honestly, this reminds me of the Terumi announcement, except that people are much more pessimistic this time. Is it because we already have some experience with old Lambda, so everyone just assumes her to be the same, especially with the lack of info on her new version?

Like people have said they have done a great job with how different Carl and Relius are so I am curious to see how Celica will play out. I'm kinda more hype about Lambda though. If they do her correctly I'll be a happy camper. That and the new portrait is pretty cool
