Could someone translate these few Kagura changes?

 

Bファフナー・・・現在のファフナーと比べて若干小振りで隙や硬直も少なくなったが頭無敵のみ
Cファフナー・・・全身無敵かつ上空の相手を狩れるほどの高度まで飛び上がるがガード時確反。空ガ可?

5C、2Cの判定強化?

6DAhit時の硬直減少

構えキャンセル中にバリガ張れるように

2DCの2段目が地上喰らい時回転よろけ誘発→しゃがみ喰らい限定コンボに意味が。(例:5BB>5C>2DC)

2DB2段目に裏まで攻撃判定出るように

2DAヒット時バウンド→2DA>B縛の起き攻め削除

5DCの壁張り付き時間減少

B縛hit時のモーション変更→2Cで拾いづらい場面が増える

Something like this...
 
*B-Fafner it smaller compared to the current one. Head invincibility and short recovery. 
*C-Fafner has full-body invincibility and it rises higher than the current Fafner. If blocked, the opponent can easily counter it. Air blockable?
*5C, 2C have increased hitboxes?
*6DA reduced recovery on hit
*You can use Barrier during Stance Cancel
*2DC's second hit causes spinning stagger on ground hit -> Means a lot in crouch-only combos (Example: 5BB>5C>2DC)
*2DB's second hit has hitbox increased so it reaches behind Kagura
*2DA causes bounce -> 2DA>B-Spirit okizeme has been eliminated
*5DC has decreased wallstick
*B-Spirit has changed hit motion -> It's a lot more difficult to continue with 2C

Hi eveyone,

 

I am new to Blazblue and wanted to buy the game for PS3, since I really enjoyed the Evo turnament and got hooked on the game.

 

However, now that I am seeing that the game will get an update, I am hesitant on buying it, since I might have to buy a new game.   Do you guys know if this update will come in the form of a DLC, a mandatory update or if you will need to buy a completely new game/disc?

 

I like this forum very much and I am looking foward to playing the game.

What does character individuality mean, and how has it been lost? None of the characters in this game play alike at all. Maybe their over-all gameplan is the same for certain characters, but that's what the games about. Get in the corner, proceed to kill. Did I miss something?

Anyway, its not so much the changes that I'm not feeling confident about, but whats with these vague, opinionated reasons they're giving for changing characters. "Why" is a simle question, saying "cux we felt like it" would make mefeel better than "to restore character individuality"

Maybe the update for Arcades will be at the end of this year, so for consoles we have to wait even more. Just go buy the game, you still have a lot of time before CP 2.0.

im not really worried about combo nerfing, every single game theyre like "yo we got dis, no more big combos, you'll have to work for it" and then 3 days after launch someone find a 7k hazama combo

 

Nerfed 6C repeat proration cause of CS2 bs. Found 11k combo in CSE.

I guess that feel way back in CT where each character felt strong in their own little way was lost in the efforts to achieve balance.

I remember that feel.

combo time on F starters has been nerfed universally

 

The heck is an 'F' Starter?  The only starter types I know of are N,S and VS/M :P

Oh ok, so it would be like the Arcade version and the PS3 release of CP on March?  That I see videos of people playing it on the Arcade long before we got the release on PS3

That's probably a pretty reasonable assessment, unfortunately, although there is some hope that if it's a digital upgrade instead of a whole new physical release, that it will come to the West faster because A) There won't really be much to localize and B) In order to keep the console game versions in sync world wide, they'd want to do a more-or-less simulataneous release. Still, I wouldn't expect anything before 2015.

When updating the wiki, the staff decided to Americanize the starter notations so they sound more uniform.

The official is actually F, for "Fast", we call it S for "Short".

So they nerfed S starter combo times universally? Why

 

Kind of felt the same when they nerfed the 90 P1 air normals to 80 P1

Yeah, it probably went from 360 to 420, something like that.  Or it might be that they shaved 60 off the timer for all combos and it is more noticeable on F.

As far as character balance was concerned, I really only ever felt like Nu was too powerful and mashing left/right when frozen by Jin was stupid. I do agree with what mAc said about characters losing their spirit. Even if some stuff ended up being objectively better for some characters (lol Haku damage), it's a complaint I've heard from Haku and Tager players, for example.

What do all these changes have to do with pist CT characters then? I only feel like this is a complaint for people that played CT cuz CT was the first time they played that character. Since I started playing, Relius has only been in 2 games, and he hasn't beeen changed much through either. I can only imagine what the CP characters "spirit" is if it wasnt brought out the first timesomeone played them.
