GGs to the many ppl I played today .... had some good Mu-12 games today...

@ scrimgore -- I did have something to say to you before my net cut out - in short its this : back in EX during some of the games we played, I accidentally made a maneuver in one of our games that was so successful that it has helped me define my playstyle ever since. Granted I was quite focused on said mastery back then but if not for my compulsions to seek out challenging players such as yourself during that time, I fear I may not have developed as well as I have, thank you

GGs to everyone in the Arcade Lobby, specially Seifer who I left hanging after getting another win for my winstreak lol.

I seriously need to read the new characters' wiki pages, I'm getting bopped because I'm allowing them to do things for free even though they might be minus on block and stuffs.

I'm not really sure. I was yellow before, then lost those matches to Mac and ended up in light green, now I'm orange. I've seen some really good players with yellow/green and played some orange people that weren't that fun to play (it could have been the matchup). I wish there was a known formula for how the colors work.

edit: I know they change in the lobby and player matches. I haven't done many ranked, so I can't give any absolutes for that mode.

Yeah you helped, I had to figure out how to deal with his pressure without 6D. It felt like I had to keep you out at all costs and the moment you got me blocking I was gauranteed to get hit by wolf mixup.

Also those angles he would come in on, you managed to always find some ridiculous path that completely avoided my attempts to space you out.

At least I still had my throws.

What about you, did you figure anything out.

6D start-up nerf made my life a lot easier, yeah. I'm used to fighting Hakumen in neutral so I have these weird movement patterns, my movement would be better if this new wolf brake change was easier but meh. I really don't like going air-to-air with Hakumen so I always try to out maneuver him.

One thing I noticed is that anything into Zantetsu = damage. Every time you'd hit me with it I'd burst. And doesn't that thing have like 26 frames of start-up? I kept failing to block it, hah. Never used to see that move in Extend.

w[5B] and j.B still trade like crazy. Was expecting to see more tk.Hotaru as well, was going to see if I could low-profile it with a well-spaced 2B on wake-up. I was also expecting a lot of 2D since it retained it's 1F start-up.

Forgot that Hakumen 6B CH = combo in CP, until you did it on me. Also, I probably shouldn't have sat around as much because damn he gains stars really quickly now.

Overall, the match-up seems to be pretty similar to Extend.

I'd probably get destroyed by any/everyone on here lately, used ps3 pads suck, but generally a lot of us that came over from Vita had a ton of matchup exp vs hakumen. Soooo many damn hakumen players that were active on vita.

Ggs to the people I played in arcade lobby, think it was shadowlycoris kr somethin like that and gli's Koko. For some reason I can't do wakeup backstep for crap, always just standa there -_-

Side question: anyone have any hands on experience with Hori fighting commander pro 3? I'll get a stick/hitbox eventually, butbI don't have $150 to shell out for a decent one lol

Also, playing neutral is boring when people don't really know what they are doing and are hell bent on whiffing all the normals in the world.

What did I do, we only played like 5 matches. Anyways, you should learn Valkenhayn, he's really fun in this version. Kicking people in the face with itty bitty wolf feet is extremely satisfying.

The D change is just something that we'll all have to get used to. But honestly, the hardest part about the D change is the new input for the wolf brake in my opinion.

Oh yeah, 21 frames, the animation of him lifting up his sword makes it a bit easier to react to. A friend of mine was pretty happy when he found out that zantetsu was actually useful in CP.

You were getting hit by my rising w[j.C] a lot, I mash that thing so hard though. You actually got me a few times with j.D as well which I really didn't expect at all.

Those 2D > Shippu > Kishuu Cancel > Short Combo comebacks really hurt too.
