Un-freaking-reactable. Ok, I should be serious here. I really think 6B could have been fixed by simply adding repeat proration to it. The loss of most reliable gatlings from it is too big of a loss, specially in a character that never had such good mixups to begin with. Like, we get 2K off 6B and 2.5K off GH mid-screen and 3K off both on the corner or something? Feels kinda unfair. Maybe we should start pulling a Jin and RC after 6B to go into 5C.

Tbh you all should be glad you have an additional overhead in the first place. And Tsubaki's overheads is slower or the same startup as Ragnas and she doesnt really get his reward. Even with the charge. I dont understand the complaining that is happening here

I dont understand the complaining that is happening here And what reward is it that you are refering to? As far as i'm concerned, Ragna gets approximately 3.1K off a 6B in the corner. Tsubaki gets approximately the same damage as Ragna with 1 stock in the corner with her 6A, which is not a big deal to attain since you Tsubaki users will be pulling stock out of your asses in CP. Yeah it's slower, but Ragna's gattlings after 6B are unsafe as far as i'm aware....possibly 5D also. Edited January 27, 2013 by -Kid

Get more experience. I used to say and believe the same thing, but now i've got Tsubaki experience, it's easy to see the difference and block it. It's an experience thing.

I can see it being an experience thing, but it's hard when you barely get any any matchup experience VS certain characters, which is...rather depressing. Edit: I am sorry if I sounded mad or irritated on this post, I didn't mean it. I just lack matchup experience VS a few characters that I don't sadly don't see very often online, which is my main, if not only source of competitive play against other human players. He plays often against a good Tsbaki offline. Now, why Ragna lost option after 6B? This didn't happen with many characters. Speaking of GH, I haven't really seen people do GH > rc > stuff, did p1 get nerfed or something? It doesn't gives matchup experience, but it should help with making out the difference between the animations. Thanks for the tip.

Mainstream toptiers get hit usually, but there's a pool of characters that remain, forever and always, very powerful.
KayEff Posted January 27, 2013 Author Posted January 27, 2013 ragna's max damage wasn't even that great even if you put him in BK. i'm pretty sure his max damage is about the same as everyone else's. his problem was how easy getting the damage was. almost every combo would net you at least 5k without even trying.

Sadly(or not), Ragna is not one of them. Then again, this just me being butthurt over the loss of combo options and (even more) weakened mixups. We will manage.
Errol Posted January 27, 2013 Posted January 27, 2013 You guys make it sound like Ragna went from best to worst. He went from S to A. He's still above average. Tsubaki went from B to B. Just as there are eternal high tiers, like Hazama Valk etc, there are eternal low tiers.

It's more like he went from being a fun character with fun options to getting a lot of nerfs that lead to less options (which leads to more boring play). While he is still solid right now in CP, he didn't really gain anything new or interesting. I'll ban anyone that says Blood Scythe is interesting because it's not.
