Also, next to Hyde, she clearly has the best colors in the game.

It was tough for me to finally decide on Dios de la Muerte I'm probably going to be playing this character as much as I play Nanase. I really need to start taking notes on her neutral game though. I played a match with her at Evo and I got destroyed pretty badly because I just finished playing quite a few matches with Nanase and was still in aggressive rushdown mode, lol. Also need to start taking notes on both meterless and meter oki setups.

Her oki game is so awesome, EX Hoplon into two unseeable high/lows is great in my book! Also making people eat shit from halfscreen with CH Divine Thrust looks so satisfying. #waifupower

Have to get that out of the system at the very least.
Mr.Sparkman Posted July 24, 2014 Posted July 24, 2014 Anyone else having troubles with the dp in to 5A/2A and j.ABC into dashing B combos? It could have been the late night fatigue, but some of these combos feel like they barely work. I will keep grinding it out regardless

Not sure if that ever got cleared up. It's possible some of the combos listed no longer work. Of course, it's also possible that the combos are just hard to execute. I know DP into 5A still works from videos I've watched so your issue might be timing for that one.

I was having trouble getting in on Carmine once he had blood pools so I feel your pain at full screen. It seems like we should use Orie's walkspeed and pokes to stop them before they get started. I was also having success with charged and normal 236B.

I will keep grinding it out regardless If you're doing combos using the 4C > 623A > 5A/2A route, you have to cancel the 623A input as late as possible during 4C, otherwise it'll whiff. There are other routes that aren't as strict with timing but you can't use 5A/2A starters with it. For j.A > j.B > j.C combos, just make sure to cancel dash B immediately after j.C *Edit, I'm about half way through the wiki and a lot of the combos posted don't work in this version. However, some of her basic BnB are pretty similar and I'll try to have everything tested by tomorrow. This character is too much fun to play!!

Her 236B, if spaced correctly seems to be very safe. From what I've seen, only characters with fast normals or specials can punish a badly placed 236B. The Tanatos 214A follow-up is not safe against characters with long range supers and the likes. Gordeau f.e. can punish it with his DP or his 41236C. Haven't seen any combos here so far.
