Why would they make art and assets like that for a backround character, why would they turn an announced character into a backround characrer?

That much proves that she won't be a background character, but I don't think Zaeris was being serious in the first place. As long she gets a magical thigh crushing/smothering distortion, I'll be happy. But seriously, If I had to speculate...I'd say there could be two possible button configurations for Celica/Minerva. 1.) Celica will be the A, B, and C normals. Minerva will be activated with the drive button. 2.) Celica will be the A and B normals with Minerva being the C normals. And Celica will have her own specific drive having to do with healing or seither absorption. Honestly I'd rather see option 2, since we already have two characters who use Attacks = A,B,C & Puppet = D.

I don't really have that many expectations for Lambda to be honest, has she ever been "good" outside CT? (I know it was nu but w/e) Unless they add some really silly stuff I can't see her being super strong or at least stronger than Mu-12

That's my point. Just because she fights with a doll doesn't mean that she's a puppet character in gameplay terms.
VermilionBird Posted July 22, 2014 Posted July 22, 2014 Think of it like this, if Mori has said she fights in unison with Celica then we can probably expect this. Most of Celica's normals will have her striking and then Minerva striking with her. So it's possible that both hits will connect, with Celica's being weak and Minerva's being strong. I think there will be a Minerva gauge that decreases with every succesful normal strike dealt by her (but at a much slower rate compared to Nirvana and Ignis), everytime she is hit, her gauge will also decrease. Reason why I think this is that one of those screenshots had Celica using an OD Distortion and that looked like she was using it on Minerva (to stop gauge decrease). When Minerva is out of play, Celica will still be able to attack using the same buttons, but only she will deal the hits, not Minerva behind her.. Well, that's what I think anyway
