I'm guessing that japanese players, at least during the next few weeks, are going to post a lot of screenshots of 1 billion damage combos with characters even though they are impractical as hell and will never actually happen.

The two I'm curious about are the presents/treasure chests going away on hit and her 3C > Air Persia. I haven't seen much Platinum footage other than that one tournament posted a couple of pages back.

Also, some D moves themselves are special cancellable. She can do stuff like 3C>kitty hammer>mami and it combos.

It seems that they butchered a lot some of the known routes for almost everyone. Everything is so different, guess it's time to start from scratch in the combo/starter department. There are a lot of hidden changes that they didn't revealed, some of them were even seen in previous loktests. Personally, I like to experiment so I'm happy with it right now.

Talked to some people at locals and they said they are expecting it to happen early summer which is sort of really bad for BB's chances at EVO 2015 as if it had any in the first place.

And since they don't have a big story mode this time, i would not be surprised if we see a console release for both PS3 and PS4 within April of next year. Now the real question is, is the PS3 version gonna be a patch or a completely new game? My vote goes for the latter.

Tournaments over here will still be running 1.1, so it isn't hurting you any unless you do in fact want to go over there.

Well that's why you pick up every game without dropping one and try to support the ones that aren't the most popular at the time even if you own the current game going through its hype period. It's what I am trying to do at my FGC. I'm that one guy who brings the BB setup amongst the 4 that bring P4U and the 2 that bring UNIEL. Playing all of them is fun as hell.

Japanese players will be fine with the arcade version, but since arcades barely exist in the West why not....bring the console version to America first (gasp!!!)? I'm really sick of this continual community separation Arc Sys keeps doing. It's getting to the point I'm about to just call it quits and become a spectator. We waited six months for BBCP that we just got a few months ago and you want people wait months again while you give Japan BOTH options? This has got to be the most out-of-touch marketing strategy I've seen in a while (ala Nintendo). You have people calling your game Evo's best of 2014 and for a reward you just forget about the rest of the world, killing your own hype. There's a lot of other games around and people will gravitate toward them because other companies were smart enough to make them available on time. Looking into the Japanese toy store window at what they get again exclusively for months (hopefully not).
