  1. http://blog.livedoor.jp/ruubr/archives/40644447.html Ruu and Kedako got some xrd frame data. when viewing the text files, be sure to set your text viewer's (or web browser's) encoding to japanese
  2. I've been doing some testing and I believe i've found the hitstun scaling for ground hits in P4AU (and presumably the first game as well). http://www.dustloop.com/wiki/index.php?title=Damage_(P4AU)#Hitstun_Scaling testing methodology: -go to training mode, turned off all teching and disable ice shaking -do various combos with mitsuru starting with sweep, 2A x N > 2B > C mirror, wait till they land and do 5B - take a screenshot of the combo timer during 5B and compare how much the bar drops at various proration levels feel free to test yourself (with different characters if you're so inclined!) and report your findings
  3. sounds like you're letting the opponent fall too much before 66 5B. try doing 66 5B faster
  4. the "blank" description boxes link to the guidelines for writing the character guides. please follow them. http://www.dustloop.com/wiki/index.php?title=Help:Writing_Character_Pages specifically
  5. like the old forums, look for the "Change Theme" link at the bottom left of every page
  6. Djqubil, thanks for adding data for the adachi wiki, but there are some guidelines i'd like for everyone to follow. http://www.dustloop.com/wiki/index.php?title=Help:Writing_Character_Pages specifically could you please fix that? thank you. i'ts understandable that you missed it, it's not mentioned anywhere on the skeleton. i've also added a link to the guidelines to every character's page so this is avoided in the future.
  7. thanks for catching the typos/missing moves everyone as for j.D, i think i'll keep it as one. I'm willing to bet it will work just like arakune's j.D: no difference in frame data, and a caption or picture will be enough to explain the difference
  8. hey guys, i've tried to get skeletons for ram's moves onto the wiki, but seeing as she's... unique in her moveset, i'd like a second opinion. http://www.dustloop.com/wiki/index.php?title=Ramlethal_Valentine_(GGXRD) is this laid out in a logical manner? what could be done to make it more clear?
  9. wow, way to sound elitist...
  10. http://www.dustloop.com/wiki/index.php?title=Aigis_(P4AU)#Move_List experimenting with giving each move an editable section. let me know what you think pros: *easier to edit individual moves cons: *forced to disable table of contents for items level 3 and lower unsure: *extra vertical space between moves
  11. haha, 214D(1) > sekkajin here we come
  12. example combo: http://youtu.be/sHSIvR33ddM?t=30m55s
  13. this is the type of speculation that is more "fandom" than gameplay. thread closed
  14. slowly working my way through the cast. if anyone has clear pics of the following characters in their idle stance: elphelt, and sin they'd be appreciated also a clear pic of ino since i'm not satisfied with how her guitar looks
  15. 2D won't freeze but it'd be jump cancelable, so probably air combo into hizansen
  16. From stunedge https://twitter.com/hc0519/status/497482460125339648 this sounds like a crazy new route to me, but don't forget, you need to be close to the opponent for sekkajin to work, so it's not as strong as it seems
  17. so 6C is just a visual change then? ok, no funny fatal loops then i guess as for the rest, it seems like most combo routes have been nerfed... which is like everyone else haha. oh well, guess we'll see how that goes.
  18. off 6C spin state, you can probably do 6C > 6B > stuff. on fatal, can probably loop 5C > 6C > 6B two or three times haha ...maybe even link 6B into 6C!?! time to training mode edit: testing FC 5D > 214D RC > 6B > 6C didn't work for me
  19. ABA, dizzy, ramlethal it's fine that you don't like a new character, but guess what? guilty gear is as guilty of following tropes as anything else. they just usually have a heavy metal influence to it (but not always)
  20. but they're not "metal" like you were lamenting
  21. i guess you don't remember the "cutesy anime designs" of bridget and may?
  22. 5D special cancel!? haven't had that since CT lol. not sure how useful it'd be though... 2D special cancel might be useful for trying to sneak in a charged 236D
  23. it would effectively be as good as litchi wakeup OD was in CP1.0 a safe wakeup reversal that is unpunishable...
