the only main combo i tried doing was ice car (2) pickups. 6C > 2D > jc > j.2C , 5C > 6C > 214B~C , 2B > 5B > 22C sekkajin refreeze time is about as long as 214D (1) i think. i tried, but couldn't get a 6C haha didn't try antying with air hit 6B, forgot about that completely i doubt tk hizansen will lead to anything... maybe on fatal? doubtful now that i think about it

got to try out cpExtend yesterday, here's a few small things i noticed: *214B (1) floats opponent on ground hit *214B (2) doesn't travel as far *623D is a really shitty starter. 623D , 2B > 5C does not combo. 5C > 623D, 2B > 5C does combo. *j.214C does hard knock down on ground hit, but not on air hit. Has a little landing recovery, definitely not as much as the last game. *2D freeze time shortened, couldn't link into 6B afterwards. 2D special cancel timing is late, need to wait for jin to start putting sword back in scabbard before you can special cancel. 2D frame advantage felt like it was +0? not too sure. *5D > 236D does not combo unless really close i think i don't know what combo is off fatal 22C, should have researched this beforehand, i assumed i could just go into the j.2C > j.C loops, but i couldn't get it vs Bullet when i tried

i thought gadget finger only magnetized for about 5-7 seconds? guess it doesn't start the timer till you touch the ground?

that shouldn't be hard to program. they're fixing the yrc option select for blue bursts in 1.1 so i'm sure a similar fix could be added for dead angles and return blitzes. why they didn't eludes me seems pretty obvious once you see that it can be done for bursts. the yrc option select on air techs isn't as clear cut though...

i'm surprised people aren't aware of the YRC os to beat Blitz-backs (blitzing while rejected), it's pretty dumb imo, same problems as yrc burst os i haven't seen blitz used much in high level japanese play, idk why -
seriously, i hope you guys are done with discussion "bad character designs". i don't like them either, and it's same discussion and same talking points every time the topic is brought up before the topic goes off into the weeds.

you're going to have to be more specific... i've noticed taht teh server load has been spiking occasionally and access to the site gets blocked for a minutes or two at a time. is taht what you're talking about? -
the only stubby things i've noticed is the run speed and 5H having smaller range/bigger hurtbox. still, ky's really good in xrd.

no there is no venue fee. we used to have one, but we haven't had one for a few months now iirc. you can tihnk of keeping the place clean and picking up your own trash as you venue fee, that's what i do. -

I've been messing around with YRCs and PRCs in the xrd demo and noticed some strange things. at first i thought it was simple: YRC = startup + active, PRC = recovery, but that doesn't always seem to be the case. it seems like if you RC late into the active frames of certain attacks, you will get a PRC. Tests: Ky's Ride The Lightning: If you don't YRC at the start of the attack, then it will turn into a PRC Ky's Stun Dipper: if you don't YRC during the slide portion, it will turn into a PRC Sol Crash and Riot Stamp: if you don't YRC during the first 10ish active frames, then it turns into a PRC Sol Bandit Revolver and Tyrant Rave: if you don't YRC during the first hit, then it turns into a PRC Ky's ground Stun Edge: if you odn't YRC immediately, you willget a PRC. Conversely, Sol's Gunflame has a huuuuge YRC window in in comparison. the YRC window for some attacks are longer than others (Crash and Riot Stamp vs Ride The Lightning). I don't know if there's a universal ruleset that all moves follow or if it's dependent on each move, but it's interesting to note nonetheless. Does anyone have any notes to share on the matter?

what feedback thread has been closed for almost a year? the one i see in this subforum are open. click on your name in the top right > My Settings Notification Options on the tabs on the left > Look under Status Updates i'll change the defaults so that you get a notification for that by default, although i doubt i can change existing users's settings
