  1. yeah.... I pretty much face rolled to get his BnB air... hell the other day I fought some dude over and over, after getting face raped like 10 times, I accidently chose Ragna.... I barely tried and didn't even want to win, and I lost 2-1 with the other guy at 10% life.... and my god, comboing Black onslaught is now laughable 5D>BO.... and that's it... it's kinda sad.... *is angry he does better with Ragna than Jin*
  2. inb4 HOS but seriously, I don't know why, but whenever I do the challenges with HJC I just fall on my ass, I rarely use them, but I just can't do it consistently.... it's not that tough, but it's just unusual to do.
  3. I do, but it's like a 10 frame link with a 7 frame attack, throw in the dash..... and fuck it, go tomission. overall I suck at challenge mode.... I don't know why, I fuck up combos I never normally drop, and YOU HAVE TO DO THE SUPER JUMP, but I don't need to.... why the superfluous command? and they don't stay on one air combo for Jin.... so it's annoying to practice JB>JC>J2C only to see it want you to do SJC>J2C>J2C>JD, well now I have to override the muscle memory thanks. I guess I'm just not a tactile learner....

  5. I think it's easier to land the JB, since it has a bigger hit box.... christ, so many options, and all of them mediocre T_T
  6. okay after being able to fight Ragna for a long time..... how the fuck can I get in? I try dash cancel my way in, I eat 3K; I ice sword, IAD'd over and I eat shit; 2D, which + on block, and I still get stuffed, WTF? I just can't get close at all..... and when I do I still get murdered..... I miss CT 5C's range.....
  7. as a complete dumbass, I can't do JB>J2C>J2C..... JC>JC does work.... but it doesn't work in corner, and if they're frozen you have to jump straight up..... if you were close enough. as for air combos, I do: 5B>3C>2B>5C>6C>dash>JB>JC>JC>JD>214C(214D>6C>214C if close to corner. corner). does good corner push, too bad I suck too much to ever land it in a real fight.....

  10. I hate Jin's mission 8, fuck. That. SHIT. 623C counter>dash5B..... WTF?!!! I swear.... it's not possible, on normal hit the enemy can tech BEFORE you recover, and CH doesn't add much, plus a dash... the frame math is retarded....

  13. if you yomi the unblockable, which is right as the ground shakes (even as the ground starts, which takes alot of yomi), they have 3 frames, no one has a 3 frame poke, if you're far enough away it can be sort of reversal safe.... all jumps are 4 frames except Arakune with 3 frames.... unless they have something with frame 1 IF's, then you should be fine.... so it's character specific. don't use on Ragna, Haku (atleast with his astral lol), and maybe Bang's with Daifunka...
  14. it worked on Ragna for me, though I did 5B(2)>3C>236D, but you have to cancel the 3C ASAP...
  15. the SE FRC ones did a lot of damage if the enemy was crouching, but GS.... just prorated too much. anyways, I like how he did 3C>236D>air dash JB. never found a use for 3C>236D.
  16. except Jin does damage, and his damage is better in the corner, where as ky's was generally lower-ish. but yeah I see the Ky shenanigens. overall it's like watching Ky's shit high/low compensated with good crossups and tick throws as well as oki pressure (in this case ice pressure). Though it's also like watching Johnny struggle with shitty starters and cancelling everything possible to avoid the overwhelming shittiness of his normals.

  18. umm.... the computer doesn't have to hold back, just input the command block.... because the computer's a cheating bastard.
  19. I like how he uses the ice as oki, that's the freeze>JB/3C/2B is sweet. though I must say he didn't need to RC>6C, pretty sure he could've 2B>5C>6C instead.
  20. great start, so to try and add on: J2C is a bit better against AA's since it's hit box goes below him sooner... though it's not much better also it says yukikaze breaks a primer, even though it's unblockable. 214A's, as stated, mostly useless, but you can do mind games and block strings (since it's slightly safe than the other ice cars and allows you to close distance in blockstrings) though if they catch on to this trick, you're still at -7 with no cancel.... and mention of the 6C>6D loop.... though there's a lot of variations, so it might be better to say it's a combo segment or something.
  21. the concept is to control their tech options, in the corner the have to neutral tech, when they do you can continue pressure, or if they didn't block do a combo (like link 5C or something). The reality is that they aren't supposed to get hit by it, you want them to block so that you can continue pressure..... personally I find it better to do when I can't to anything else (no meter for corner loop or to many hits for ice car)
  22. it's +3 on block, but I know what you mean. but if you mix up with it (IE refugee in audacity) then it can work. Make sure Lambda doesn't gain the momentum.

  24. she has very little health, and if you start hitting her she has trouble, her "DP" isn't that great. Jin's corner combo is pretty big damage, he's good at pressure.... it's just the nuetral situations that are an ass for him.
  25. at mid range.... neither really have advantage. her attacks can be punished at mid range, and Jin has few mid range attacks..... yeah this is a retarded matchup, not necessarily a bad matchup, just annoying as fuck. the only answer you can do to air throw is either 236C (pushes you away though) and JC (which may be countered by air throw) jumping back is putting you where she wants you, and forward is air grab range.... just keep her pressure and try to stay in.... oh and I'm pretty sure you can punish some of her swords with 632146C.
