  1. There are. How many are on at a given time is irregular, but I've seen rooms in player match and a couple of players on ranked.
  2. No, that's just the new trend. Aside from a UNIB list or two, I don't think I've seen a tier list that went below B or B- since pre-patch P4U. Same. She's definitely stronger now, but from what I've seen, even that combined with other characters' nerfs shouldn't be enough to shoot her up that high.
  3. Yeah, I found out the hard way myself. Will you go tomorrow or some other day this week, though? You can go a couple games with my shitty Dizzy before I give you my stick.
  4. All right. I'm planning on going tonight; just look for the guy with a stick that looks like it was found in a dumpster.
  5. FlameIce, y u no respond to my PM?
  6. Well, if you're unsure 236H will hit, you could just do 214x. Hell, that's what I often see players do in both AC and +R vids. And the jump cancel cancel isn't really that hard, at least in my experience. It is annoying, but as long as you can get the timing down, it should be easy to do pretty consistently.
  7. http://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLmvZt7egaTbKc2-0RGC9AjQ6lOeQV_xOV FT10 featuring a player called Bobu, who Ho-chan/Stunedge says is the best Labrys.
  8. That was just speculation based on the images showing that every character's Heat gauge is now segmented in increments of 25, like Jin's. In the end, it turned out to be for Crush Trigger.
  9. They are 5-5. Always. Universal law. Labrys is a momentum character, though, so if it's not an even match, it's either lopsided or easy to turn the tables, so there are probably plenty of times it feels uneven. But really, mirror matches in general are just silly and everyone should avoid them. Unless it's for humor, in which case, by all means.
  10. No, no, no. Did you see Sakura, that combo movie? It has two or three combos showing that if you hit your opponent in a certain way with C Moujuu, you can follow it up for free. And I did that on accident.
  11. I feel ya, man. That reminds me of this one time I accidentally did Moujuu, because I was trying to do 214214C, but my opponent crossed me up right as I finished the input, and it hit them in a way that it did that trick from the Sakura combo movie. I even followed it up. Not saving that is my biggest regret right now.
  12. Looking at the post you quoted, I can see where you're coming from concerning Hakumen, but I disagree about the game in general. I suppose you could say the game was stiffer than CT and CS1, but by the same token, it was, as certain people said at the time, "more legit." Basically, it was overall a step in the right direction, even if it didn't treat every character well. Really? It seems rather simple (albeit relatively lengthy) and straightforward.
  13. For a sane Tsubaki player, it was the best in the series so far. And I don't remember Hakumen being that bad. Then again, I don't really know anything about him between CT and CSE, so enlighten me if you wish. And Mightfo, how could you include Bang but not Litchi, who essentially just needed to press random buttons to win?
  14. wut? CS2 was the best iteration of the series. You crazy.
  15. I wouldn't really consider Akihiko a tough MU. Granted, I haven't really played many good ones, but it seems like it's only slightly in his favor. This is true at most distances, but I'd recommend being wary if 5C connects at/near max range, as her sweep can also be DP'ed in that situation. Anyway, good write-up. Definitely some worthwhile stuff in there. No, she's quite weak. In terms of utility, j.B is really her only good normal. She does have some other things going for her, but in general, she needs to work noticeably harder than most of the other characters to do well. As for players, some are mentioned in the video thread. PurePure (who, for the record, was the only Labrys to qualify for SBO) is probably the best, but from what I remember, EK and Mr. Lark did quite well too. Tomo used to be another player to look out for, I believe, but he's played Shadow Labrys I think since the arcade patch.
  16. He prefers large busts. Why else do you think Noel's the only non-loli who's small?
  17. The reasoning is that implementing a rematch option takes too much time away from rendering breasts, and we can't have that under Mori's watch.
  18. As Winty says, it is a bad match-up, but it's not unwinnable. I myself have taken matches from decent/good Mitsuru players, both online and at the arcade in town (which has two pretty good ones), and I'm not exactly godlike. You just have to play smarter and adapt more, like any bad match-up.
  19. All right, just got done with each character. 214214C/D will beat: Narukami - Cross Slash Chie - Agneyastra Yukiko - Agidyne Kanji - Both supers Teddie - Missile super [Also, although it won't beat his Awakening super, you recover early enough to avoid it] Naoto - Raid~Critical Shot (her Hazama-esque super) Mitsuru - Both pre-Awakening supers Aigis - 214214C/D (her Awakening super; the one where she shoots a spear upwards) Labrys - BI [The super armor will protect her for the whole super, but you can easily jump or roll it before the attack actually comes out, leaving her open to punish] Shadow Labrys - 236236A/B (the one where Asterius punches the screen) and BI Elizabeth - Memento Mori Almost everything else trades with it. Labrys' own 236236C/D, however, will beat it and if both Labrys players use 214214C/D, the first one who used it will be at a disadvantage. Aegis' shield charge will go right through it and land her behind Labrys, allowing her to punish it. Naoto's 236236A, of course, raises her high enough off the ground and far enough to punish. Yukiko will get hit during Maragidyne, but Labrys will still find herself on the other side of the screen and teching after Yukiko does.
  20. Tari is based Labrys tech god. I'll test it out and come back with my findings, only for him to have already posted that he found out twice as much as I did.
  21. Last I checked, "it's a bad game" isn't exactly a dumb reason. Anyway, I'm gonna do some testing with Labrys' 214214C/D later today. I used it against a Narukami player who tried to reversal it with Cross Slash, but lost out. I don't know if it's because Labrys' invuln lasts longer than it seems or if Cross Slash's just doesn't last until the active frames (although I am fairly certain it's the latter) and it's probably not worth much, but it's made me curious to see if anything besides IK beats it.
  22. Okay, now this is just silly. First of all, from what we know of the Crush Trigger system, it doesn't really seem like any would be too weak or broken. Furthermore, they've never cut characters just because they seem like a challenge to balance; if they did, certain infamous characters would've been long gone, so to point to that as the reason she's not in the game is ridiculous. Probably even moreso than her not being in the game in the first place.
  23. Amane was only his idea. The actual design was done by Mori and Katou.
  24. It does, so the Mitsuru player would have to have already charged quite a bit for Labrys' DP to not release before Coup Droit comes out. In other words, this strat seems really unreliable. It can't be canceled at all; once the move starts, Mitsuru has to commit to it.
  25. I tend to guard cancel, especially if they have their Persona out.
