  1. A quick guide to improving this thread: Scroll to the top of the page Click your username Click Manage Ignore Prefs Type AllyofJustice in the necessary field Check at least Posts
  2. Only scrubs want English voices in a Japanese fighting game.
  3. Actually, I'm positive I saw Sidewinder in a Slash video. From what I could tell, though, there wasn't a clean hit property, so I'm not sure what it was used for.
  4. Pretty sure the Japanese PSN doesn't do preorders.
  5. I was one of those who thought she seemed worse than Potemkin. I felt that it was hard for her to gain momentum, and that even when she did, it was difficult to maintain that momentum. It wasn't until I saw...Kuni, I think it was, that I started thinking maybe the players in the footage coming out just weren't good ones who had explored her enough. Looks like that second guess may have been correct. And Henaki, that was a good write-up. Worthwhile food for thought on grapplers.
  6. The story regarding the Gear Project, the aftermath of the Crusades, and more recently the Backyard, was always the main one; the assassins' story is just the biggest subplot.
  7. Actually, Potemkin's apparently been pretty weak throughout GG. I don't remember where he was placed in Slash, but I'm pretty sure he was considered low tier from X to #Reload. Accent Core was the only time he had to shine; maybe +R too, since he didn't get nerfed that hard, IIRC. And Bullet's not viable. Japanese players seem to agree that she's one of the weakest characters in the game, and the weakest in BB have never done well competitively.
  8. As much as I'd love to see playable Akatsuki with Shiroe as an assist, Log Horizon is published by Enterbrain, not Dengeki, so there won't be any LH characters.
  9. Made a lobby, if anyone's interested in some matches.
  10. It's actually the day of or before release. Also, be careful when planning to cancel an order; apparently, unless you've bought multiple items from them before, they'll just suspend your account if you try to cancel.
  11. Are you sure about tension pulse? In one of Nakamura's recent FT10s, his tension gain became abysmal after he got negative penalty, and I'm pretty sure I've seen the gain increase whenever I see players try stuff in sparring mode.
  12. Not a whole lot. It starts off rehashing info that's long been known to anyone following the game (plus some comments on how the arcade scene is expanding, namely among women and younger players, and he talks a bit about how he approaches the soundtracks for this series and BlazBlue), but there is some relevant stuff after that. Ishiwatari says that the only difference between the two home versions is the PS4 version going up to 1080p, and that cross-play shouldn't have any issues. He also talks about how story mode will be different, but I didn't catch anything big on that. When asked about new characters, he says he can't give any specifics, but does confirm that while there won't be any balance changes, there will be additions to the roster, and they will be added to the arcade version sometime after the home release. He also mentions that story relevance was actually another factor in choosing characters, which I think he says will also be the case with the console version. He also gets asked about DLC, and he says that although there aren't currently any plans for such, he would like to release alternate costumes, including old outfits, but wouldn't put out anything that "destroys the character's image" (meaning no swimsuits, ya pervs). At one point, the supplementary releases (like the novels and short stories) get brought up, but he doesn't definitively say if info from them will be included in Xrd in some fashion.
  13. It really hasn't. Even on the best connections I've played, the lag is very noticeable, whereas GG usually just feels like normal lag.
  14. Sony won't really have anything to do with it, since it'll be at Aksys' booth.
  15. Am I the only one who thinks Miyuki's standing pose looks weird?
  16. AmiAmi is honestly the best import site I've used. I hear the way they handle the customs paperwork is better than what Play-Asia does, which reduces complications, and I've yet to get a shipment that was really late. I think they do charge more on shipping, though, depending on which service you choose, but considering what happened the last time I used Play-Asia (they lost track of my package), it's acceptable.
  17. There hasn't been any news on the home release whatsoever since it was announced. And if there is a CE, it probably won't be revealed until it gets a release date.
  18. Just made my payment to AmiAmi. M-Maybe they'll ship it early? /wishful thinking
  19. If he loses a match, he will indeed say that line. I haven't watched a whole lot of Ky videos myself, but I've heard it every time I saw him lose.
  20. 1.04 on console is 1.10 in arcades.
  21. Not long after Xrd's announcement, the president of ASW said Ishiwatari going to E3 was possible. Didn't really say anything definitive, though, just that it could happen.
  22. I already went over this earlier in the thread; they went with a completely different way of making the characters and didn't have many people working on them. Waiting until they had more than twenty characters would probably have been too long for comfort to them, especially when they can just add characters in updates.
  23. Dizzy: 421 214P/K/HS YRC I want to see this. ArcSys, onegai.
  24. Also, both versions of Houjuu can be out at the same time. Not sure if this can apply to the SB version (hell, it wasn't even used at all in those matches, let alone in conjunction with the C or D version) and the utility is probably limited, but it might be something to keep in mind.
  25. The first of the two PurePure vs Koishi videos confirms this. At around the 28:00 mark, I think, you can clearly see the axe level go from green to blue during j.C.
