but there have been people who have already done that. look star, ask me anytime and ill always be willing to help you get better and quite a few people here know that. except toan, because toan is a meanie face. if you want to learn how to fight hakumen ask me, i can give you pointers on what to do, but in the end the result relys on your own ability.

then if you love this character, and you enjoy playing this character why is your behavior contradicting that mindset. theres something about you thats just wrong when you play this character, you end your combos far too early, you quit when you lose (or plain give up and stop trying), you complain on the boards, make things seem more impossible than they are, refuse to change your fighting style, refuse to basically adapt, refuse to get better, there are some litchi combos who havent even played as long as you and are further along. 2 years is along time star, each and every time ive played you not alot btw just in spans of time) even with jin, ragna or hakumen your behavior and style stays the same. i say drop litchi simply because you need a break from a character thats causing you to self destruct. but you wont do that, refuse to learn from another character perspective, so instead you continue to poison yourself. i really dont see why. when i wasnt doing well with hakumen i took a break and learned ragna and jin to a sup par level, then lambda then litchi to understand those characters. i took what i learned from them and out it to hakumen, im much better than i was and still need to learn more. our learning is most likely not the same but i can see when something is just not going to work without adding something fresh to the mix.

Probably because you are using a character thats execution barrier is above your level. play a more simple character, ragna, jin, hazama (kinda), noel, hakumen. you play a chaacter that requires ALOT of tricks.setups, combos you dont use. play a character that dont require so much and you way see more sucessful results. id say try hakumen. YOU MIGHT LEARN SOMETHING. all you have to do is focus on hitting the enemy.

the thing is despite the cost, it has its use, if you are fighting the kind of player that cant help but press buttons on wake up hotaru is a very safe option compared to renka. it also doesn thave as much push back compared to renka. renka is useful in its own right, 6B/Tsubaki/renka hi low games leads to big damage. but you also want to use something that doesnt have high push back, something not as easy Ib if you guess wrong, and something that will give back a much higher reward if it works. meaties aside i use all of my tools: i use 2a and 2B not to just get it, but also to see what kind of person they are. if they are mashy or jumpy they get the hotaru, if they sit still gotta start on some high lows. it also forces a 50/50 on a block hotaru, will i renka or will i tsubaki. guess right and you get to not die yet! guess wrong and you die sooner. we all win.
