2C is good against Noel even on block because she can option select a jump cancel, TD showed me this, mash 2A on block, pause, throw out 2C and jump back, if we blocked you get to backdash and keep applying neutral game zoning shit, which Noel hates and can do nothing about, if we 2D you get a CH2C and can air dash forward for a combo. TD is one of the best Mus I have played despite the lag and a little bit of netplay showing through, and him and Jago showed me why we are not supposed to win the matchup. Also about the strat I just talked about, we can still 5D through 2C, so if you start to get scared of that start using SoD after the pause, we get hit out of 5D and 2D and if we block it you still get to go back to neutral, SoD is the single worst thing about this matchup for Noel, because we have no way to beat it, no way to punish it, and no real way to handle it, just block it and hope we don't get guardcrushed. The only reason why you would want to use 2C instead of SoD in this scenario is because you can't combo off of it unless it's fully charged, oh and speaking of which, if you think you have us scared of pushing buttons, fully charge it on block, its really fun to see 3 out of my 4 primers melt away with one risky move :P Fun Times.

2D is beaten by 2C and 5D is beaten by SoD, we have nothing in this matchup, plus if we wiff a drive it's a free 6C fatal combo for you, I seriously have no idea why any Mu would be having trouble with this matchup, and 3C is useless, the only people who throw that out anymore just have given up and are now just hoping someone gets hit by it. I'm guilty of that one myself, oh yeah, and you guys have an actual DP, not that it matters because you can usually just mash 2A and poke us out of our pressure, because we don't have pressure. We should fight again sometime Ve, it would be nice to fight a Mu who is still afraid of Noel stuff.

Even with Noel? LOL That matchup is absolutely ass for Noel, for one we can't get within range because of those lasers and her C pokes, and two, once we do get in, her short range pokes beat everything we do.

I figured as much, so you guys have trouble with top tiers, everyone does. Mu is one of those solid characters that I always wished mine could be, we'll see how things go in CS2. And Cor, why the name change? It threw me off big time lol.

But Mu relies on the D button a whole hell of a lot too, except hers is easier to use because you can jump cancel on wiff and can't be punished if a laser wiffs, add to that the fact that the big laser stays active after you get hit, making it harder to punish you for that too. Mu is like one big insurance policy. Just out of curiosity, what are Mu's bad matchups?

I'm pretty sure you mean Mu was just a better character, you need to use your brain a lot more with Lambda.

The key word in my post was confirm. If you were to do 5A > 5B > 5C > 2C > 3C, even people who have really slow reaction time would be able to tell if the string was connecting at 2C. It's a moot point anyways, because this will never happen, Mori likes Noel, yet he gives all of the other characters the easiest stuff :C

TROLLLLLLLLLLLLL 1 frame, damn, they will let Ragna combo into 3C off of 5B all day, but Noel never gets that braindead autopilot hitconfirm. Oh well, it was never possible in the past, so it's not gonna change much now.

I'm gonna answer this because your name implies that you are a Yuffie fan. She can do a huge amount of damage without haida, but it also seems like haida is easier, as of right now it doesn't look like you NEED haida to win, but we shall see when the game drops.

Nah, 5B doesn't combo into 6B, unless its a Counter hit and a crouching hit 5B, but it always gatling'd into 6B.

I think he just doesn't use the Sky Blue color, and Ve was implying that he does. :P

Damn, blue beating is right, that had more small numbers than a lotto ticket. Nice combo otherwise though. I'm trying to learn a legit sub, every other character I play who isn't Noel I just mash combo starters until they hit, then I combo. Maybe Plat can be the true sub I have been wanting all along =w=

I haven't seen a naked 3C in any video so far, they nerfed its p1 though, I'm curious as to how much damage we can score at max. Looks like 2D is gonna be Noel's primary punish for blocked ID now.

Ah lol, no biggie then, I'm used to Noel hate anyways, she's the type of character you either love for her moemoe needyness, or hate her for that same reason.
