Make sure you're not doing it from match start position if you're trying to connect the 5b; staff will hit too fast for it to work and you'll be sad. Just do chun>staff2>tk chun from match start. You need to be further from the corner than match start position to need to put in 5b/2c before staff2.
Star, switch characters for a little.
Try a really basic character like Jin, make progress there.
It's possible you're jumping ahead of your abilities. I would not have been able to do Litchi bnbs when I just started playing fightan gaems. They're hard by the standards of BB, which is already kind of hard
akira shiro exists in a variety of alternate worlds
he merely meant to say he is an existence who -- regardless of which alternate world you examined -- would be the best at writing in his class. it would be a necessary attribute of the being "akira shiro"

The most beneficial thing you can do for your spacing game other than playing matches is make a gameplan for neutral.
Figure out how to deal with the most important tools your opponent has, and understand what RPS games you start by doing so.
You can cancel early move startup into barrier, iirc. So it's possible to do something like 1[A]~B while intending to do 1A+B and get CH'd out of 2A startup
