If you can bring anything to MAD (consoles, monitors,bb discs for ps3 and xbox, etc.) , plz add it to the spreadsheet : http://www.sankishin.com/board/viewtopic.php?p=402#p402 -
Not sure yet, we'll probably plan a few possible rulesets and then use the one that fits best with the amount of entrants we have. No custom cars for sure though, and we're probably going to softban snaking and other intentional exploits. In other news, extremely high probability of a skullgirls tournament. edit: tentative stream schedule (warning : it will not go according to this. even the order may be different) It's really hard to tell how long an event can last. 11 AM - 2:30 : BB casuals & money matches 2:30 - 5:30 : BB singles 5:30 - 5:50 : EXVS finals 5:50 - 6:45 : KoF top 3 6:45 - 7:30 : MBAACC top 3 7:30 - 8:15 : AH3 top 3 8:15 - 9:00 : GGXXAC top 3 9:00 - 9:30 : F-Zero GX finals 9:30 - ???? : skullgirls top 3 ???? - end : bb teams/montreal vs toronto exhibition/ragna only tournament/beerblue/other special events end is unknown, most likely later than midnight.

yo new guy, check out this : http://www.dustloop.com/forums/showthread.php?13273-Montreal-Air-Dashers-April-14th-MAD-tournament-Anime-fighters-ONLY!!! you don't want to miss it if you're 18+ I'm there as long as I can find a job for the summer. edit: @Freezerburn : we're probably going to keep the venue open until 3 am or later. -
Yeah not many people play mu so they probably just haven't figured out the matchup yet. I used to think valk was autopilot, but then I noticed the specific ways they kept getting in on me and thought up ways to avoid them, now it's not as bad (inb4 I get exposed by a valk). But then again when people can't deal with autopilot zoning after a while I stop abusing it because we're playing to have fun, they sure aren't having fun, and it's not like I'm really getting anything out of it either. Anyways, I'm learning arakune. people are going to want me to pick mu.

GGs 50-50, xntrikcat, nineball, anyone else I forgot. mirrors are fun, learn new stuff I agree with zeromus there, Mu is kinda dumb because you can get away with dumb stuff, just not as intuitive to learn how to deal with her. For example her 2c has only 11-16 head invuln so when you do it you have to commit way ahead, and the recovery is terrible, so bait it out with a double jump and get a punish on a crouching character. Her other anti air, 6a, has a pretty small hitbox so there's a blind spot where it's risky to anti with mu. Mu can do it too. (not the best example, but I mean the potential is there, I'm still improving it )

no, I think they're in west island which is kinda far from downtown. but I have been thinking about having a ragna only side tournament if we have time. my ragna is the best, I want to show it off but I'd feel bad not picking Mu in a tournament if I have the choice. -

I've been seeing a lot of JP players use delay j.5d in the highloop instead of j.6d. If it works at any point where the highloop works, it kinda means that there is no reason to use the midloop if you can highloop instead (because I really like having the j.5d for my oki). Might be something to keep in mind when rebuilding this thread.

Checking out the recent videos, came across this new setup that Oboron is using where he goes 6c 5d SoD dash 6d 236d 2d/4d : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ybBfnTGks7I#t=2m10s It doesn't seem very solid at first, but seeing as how it worked both times he did it, it might just be really deceptive to people who don't play mu... I dunno gonna have to try it out.

Most likely yes. We're still debating the schedule, but after the planned singles we'll run whatever else we have time for. I doubt the money will be free though

AXIS, if you remember my stick, working on the art for it was the only time I ever touched photoshop. If you know kinda what you want and it's a simple concept, it really isn't that hard to figure it out. But then again I don't think my stick art should be used as a reference for anything

Seems like a few Mu players made it into BBR, if any of you are going to watch the stream, look for these teams. I don't see Keba anywhere, so I really hope he signed up with a random name or something, dunno who Exodus or Hoanpanman are. A: suzuki (Mu) seth (Rachel) MP (Lamda) A: H.H (Mu) Chin (Haku) Mr. Lauger (Relius) A: Exodus (Mu) Hare (Ragna) Emma (Litchi) C: hoanpanman (Mu) shokushu (Noel) Poty (Litchi) D: Nao (Mu) A92 (Haku) Nikuman (Valk) D: Maguro (Mu) Seji (Tao) Nisshi (Carl)

yes, last night at our offline meetup I caught a backdash near the corner with 6c and did 7k because I dropped the super ender . I've also started going for 6c fatal and actually hitting with it in a few matchups recently, but it usually ends up in a burst or a drop because I'm not used to the hitconfirm either. If you want to get up to date with CSEX Mu, you can watch these tutorials that I've been working on, there are a few things I forgot to add (like dash 2c 5c supers), so they aren't finished yet, but should still have all the info you're looking for. 1. combos : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aoCLTItUeyM 2. setups : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=agk5UuSUlr8
