We'll keep it in mind, can't guarantee anything because we already have a lot of tournaments and if we announce KoF there may be a lot more people that show up. Just a heads up for F-Zero GX, we're strongly considering banning snaking and some other exploits. Tentative ruleset involves 4 man races through the 2 first cups, maybe the third if we have enough entrants, and vehicle lock per cup. We're currently going over this, trying to make an estimate of how stations will be used. We'll likely have 10 or so stations available throughout the day, so there's a lot we can do. Maybe even HNK. About the venue fee, you can look at it this way : it's cheaper than a major, there will be more stations per participant for both tournament and casuals, and there will be more breathing room per participant. You will be able to buy food on the spot and while yeah soft drinks are overpriced, everything else is relatively reasonable. We aren't planning on it, I would really want bb players to have as much space as possible for casuals, but we may have room for it so we'll consider it. something you don't want to miss if you're 18+ and in (or not too far from) montreal.

The idea for this event has been around longer than most of you think. Everything that has happened since has helped motivate its organisation and materialize it.

I think we can do this. We'd need to convince Foonzo to open at noon instead of their usual 3 PM to have enough time to run everything anyways, so we should have time.

Housing is unsure, most of us still live with our parents and use public transit. Maybe we could organize something, but it would be case-by-case and personally I'd like to have already met IRL anyone staying over. Might be worth mentioning that while this is a 1 day event, we gather regularly at foonzo for meetups, so if people let us know that they'll be there any other day around the event, we'll probably show up. There's a parking lot right behind it that charges something like 10-20$ for the day and should have room. If you park on the street you need to go put money in the parkometer every 2 hours or so or you WILL get a ticket, but sundays are free so sometimes you get lucky. Closest free parking is 10 min walking distance but Rhannmah will be pissed if you take his spot

Foonzo is about one year old, so if the street view passed before that, it wouldn't be there.

If you had to chose, come to MAD, because there will be F-Zero GX. MAT so far is at the same venue as last year, so it should be a great event once again.

Yeah there's going to be a BBEX singles tournament where you'll be able to use your pad. Not sure if you will for teams though.

Mu beats tager 6-4 according to that chart and I think it's correct. It isn't 5-5 because Mu just has the advantage at neutral, but it isn't 7-3 because tager's new tools allow him to convert any random hit into good heat and damage, as well as making him way scarier from close. (partly because he always has sooo much meter now) I'd say 5C nerf hurts a bit because it's almost always going to lose to tager's j.B and j.D but you shouldn't really be using it in those situations.

yo damn my pally is specced prot/ret tough luck (but seriously there's pretty much only drives and specials left, and I don't feel confident in the way I currently use them to write in the wiki about them. every few weeks I tell myself I've been doing it wrong all along) Learn all the optimal CS2 combos except for those with 214D (hit) in them, the only differences are that sometimes you use 2C otg instead of 2B or 3C. So if you can do all the CS2 stuff you'll barely need to step in training mode when you'll get CSEX.

These are CS2 so the second one should be optimized differently, but the first one should still be intact. I usually go for safer setups though, each time I went for these I just got outright disrespected so I forgot about them. Though once I did land one while at a tournament and impressed the others

Might be that they didn't have enough info so they left it at 5-5, but it might also be that the matchup changed, I haven't played this one a lot in CSEX. Np, just link them to us if ever you happen to come across one IMO use 236a less against relius, more normals and 236d. Also start cancelling 5c into steins sometimes on block (or even on raw hit), it's really good.
