I could watch either, but I don't have any specific questions atm. If I had to vote I'd say tomorrow, though since it is release day for those getting the NA release it might not be the best choice.

Who what when where why?

Maybe I'm not doing it right, and I don't think I can beat LK more than once every 10 games, but so far my gameplan is just run away, place a stein/236a/236d when I feel 100% safe (out of 6b[m] range mostly), and only go in from the ground when I see an opening (ex: whiffed move, blockstun from stein/236a/236d). Of course 5c if the litchi is just running at you. Don't approach litchi from the air if you don't have laser backup, she can just crouch j.c and anti air with 2a. It doesn't matter if you set up a stein and are forced to block due to her staff flying around the screen, it's pretty hard to dodge, your objective when you do that is to get a command laser out at some point to let you get in, just don't get counterhit because that means she's in. If the litchi doesn't have the staff I'm going to abuse special cancels and stein cancels in my pressure because it becomes harder for her to deal with it. Another thing I find is it's better to burst early against litchi if you know she's going to finish her corner combo in kokushi musou because it's so damn hard to block that you might as well not put yourself in that situation if you're going to burst afterwards anyways. Backdash is good for getting out of midscreen pressure as long as you don't get predictable with it

We'll see, lol. I've been losing quite a lot of games in csx because every now and then I use 2c like it's cs2 and eat a CH, and I'm not that used to 6a either so I often misjudge the range. You have to feel the nerf yourself to believe it I guess. But yeah, I don't really care either, I'll just deal with it, CS2's 2c was way too good. Pretty random, I saw this artwork the other day and thought it looked nice : http://gelbooru.com/index.php?page=post&s=view&id=1409686

Some changes are listed here : http://www.dustloop.com/forums/showthread.php?12222-%B512-BBCS2-Loketest-Discussion-and-Changes Can't say we know every single detail, but a few things to add to that would be: 2c less head invuln (it's pretty bad as an anti air now) 2c can otg in combos (allows for double super ender off almost anything) 214d prorate is really average now overall damage boost ...and I can't think of anything else. We should probably go post these in this thread : http://www.dustloop.com/forums/showthread.php?12560-Blazblue-Continuum-Shift-Extend-Actual-Changes once we agree on a complete list. Also, 6c FC 5d 214d is not optimal anymore, but it's still useful because it allows you to bait bursts if you don't need the 7k to kill. Unless I'm guessing wrong, the combo you came up with still works (6c 5d 214d 6b (6a j.2c 2b)x2 5c 6c)
-
Yes, but after a ground combo into 3c, not on block lol. It does lose to DPs and some mashing, but you're so far when you jump towards them that unless you're abusing it you should be ok.
-
Good thing you held back. I gave my stick a headbutt and that dent is gonna annoy me for a long time. So far the 3c 6d j.c setups are completely awesome on netplay, tomorrow's meetup will be the real test, but it's looking great. Better than I expected too because j.2c catches them crouching so you can combo 2b 5c 6c 214d 6c midscreen.

lol bang vs litchi exp, sounds like someone played cs1... good stuff lol. I spent some time in the lab today, got this. the last one is actually really fucking hype :D close 3c 5d j.b j.b (delaaaay) j.c 2a 2b 5c SoD (fuzzy, only works on tall characters) close 3c 5d j.b j.b(whiff) 2a 2b 5c SoD (crossup) close or far 3c 6d j.c (blocked) j.2c ]d[ 2b 5c SoD close or far 3c 6d j.c (blocked) 3c ]d[ j.b j.c j.2c (SoD 2b 6a j.2c etc. omohikane 4.7k) (2b 2c 6c habacan 6a 5c 6c 5d 214d 6c 3.3k)

C0R just watched your stream's archive, it was great! If I can give you some ideas for the next one, it would be really cool if you could sit down with some other players, do some matches, discuss the matchup, etc. Something I would like to hear about is what you think about finishing midscreen meterless combos on standing with SoD as opposed to 3C setups. On the subject of throw mixup, if you have any throw whiff setups that actually work well it would be nice to know, I just dash up jump and j.b. And one last thing, we went over burst safe stuff a while ago. I started ending corner combos with j.2c 6[d] 2a 6b ]d[... the laser shot allows to hitconfirm without needing to go into SoD right away, so you can RC the 6b if you see a burst and punish afterwards. If they don't burst you still get a great corner combo because ]d[ p2 is still decent and you hit them crouching so stuff like 5b 5c 6c SoD etc. If they block the 6b you get another shot at mixup, so it's a really great setup. (unrelated completely, but bb top 4 starting soon : http://www.twitch.tv/stormunity)

I don't get it, he went like 20-1 in my room again, this time it wasn't even me that beat him. He just tweeted that after I won a round

Montreal is most likely not going to go finally. See you guys next time. Sorry :\
-
good news you can start right now almost all cs2 optimal combos are the same in csex
-
Yeah I'm pretty sure it's azuo as well, his PSR is usually between 600-700. Usually see footage of him from either kohatsu or a-cho which are pretty close to each other I think. Plus he does those bad combos off throws and 6a CH

Is there gonna be an archive of your stream? Thursday is meetup day.
-
Netplay's okay when the connections are good. More importantly though, after looking at the frame data and with my csex experience so far, would it be fair to say that 6a is a better anti-air than 2c in every situation? (2c is still good for air unblockables, frame traps, hitconfirms, ...)

Dans le metro, Proverbe Malien : Le sel ne sait pas qu'il est lui-même salé. -
If anyone's interested, netplayed on stream this evening so there's an archive. Opponents were Kaeru (Bang) Level5-Chan (Tsubaki) and LK (Litchi). http://www.twitch.tv/bibiquadium/b/307983556 (matches start around 17m, first match vs LK around 1h23m) If anyone has some advice I'll gladly listen to it. Any tips with the litchi matchup would be appreciated, I'm not sure if I'm playing it right, only got a single lucky win.

wat? Foonzo is getting a setup for all their customers to use, they wanted to know if we had anything we wanted to say concerning that. -
How we usually have casuals in mtl is 4-6 people on one setup. too many and you get salty when you lose, too few and there isn't as much incentive to win. So I heard a few of you play LoL. I play it sometimes, if you want to add me, my summoner is "pochp". yooo that's my fav from the N64 one.

I agree that you usually don't have to go in, except when your opponent starts hesitating, allowing you to setup a safe approach. However I disagree that Mu's pressure is sub-par. Special canceling normals into 236a or 236d when well spaced can extend your pressure a lot. Mu has very rewarding frametraps as well, allowing you to special cancel and stagger better. Especially against an opponent that doesn't have a DP (like rachel, staffless litchi, <50 heat arakune/lambda/haz/tao/carl/valk/plat), once I get them blocking, I keep the pressure as long as I feel like I have the advantage. Of course this isn't the most solid pressure, and it relies a lot on your opponent not knowing specifically how to get out of it, but who knows how to fight mu On a semi-related note, I really like blockstring 2a 6a because it allows to hitconfirm on airborne opponents, as opposed to 2a 2b which would whiff.

this one has 125$ per night per double bed room (if you put 1 adult, and with the AAA rate), and it's across the street from foonzo : http://www.hoteleuropa.com/best-western-hotel-rooms.html

@Air and Calm : try to be at Terminus Longueuil metro around 11-11:30 AM. I hope nedel will be able to get to my place around 10-10:30, so we'll pick up brice at his CEGEP in Longueuil, get you guys, and we'll be on our way to TO. (ps: expect nothing to go as planned and everything to run late) Hm well I took a USB cord for ps3 controllers that I thought would belong to one of us, I'll bring that next thursday.
