didn't run bb. event almost got cancelled, but they chose a small venue instead and only ran Evo games + SG. we got 10 for our ranbat earlier this week though. -
You can check out my youtube channel for videos of most of those, as well as some other tech : http://www.youtube.com/user/pochped/videos

I'm gonna agree with nemesis here and say you should probably DP more, I mean every match is different and happens so fast that I can't tell if you always use it like that. I'm not talking about using it on wakeup though, more like through pressure. I kinda disagree with nemesis about supers. I prefer keeping my meter for RC mixup if it doesn't kill. j.2c knockdown allows enough options that I don't feel like I need to use supers. Though I still use it when I get a great starter so that my opponent has time to look at the total damage and attempt to get him to screw up. :P It's hard to give you advice though, our playstyles are kind of different. Most of your combos and hitconfirms were ok, I didn't get to see much of your oki/mixup/pressure game so I can't really comment on that. Your spacing felt like it worked out for you, so if it usually ends up like this keep it up, though you were whiffing a lot of 2c, that move has a ton of recovery so you might want to be a bit more careful with it, you will get punished for it. I wonder why you're using 3c so much (against relius in particular maybe? I don't really know the matchup that well), I prefer poking with 2b because it offers gatling options and is 0 on block, you can dash after it and start some pressure/mixup game. I also saw you sacrifice oki for damage/meter in a few situations (that airthrow combo ending in j.c j.c j.623c for example), I don't think that's worth it. Mu has really good oki setups off of 6c midscreen. I dunno if you always go for this, or it was because you screwed up something or w/e, but yeah, if you haven't looked into it yet, you're missing out on a really cool aspect of the character Overall your Mu looks good.

Around what time do you think you'll be there? I might go for a few rounds since I work nearby, though it depends on a few other things. -

Not going to MAT. I do tutorial videos for various stuff such as combos, blockstrings, setups, but I haven't done a general one. Started in April I guess? -

lol nice, dat bang shishigami dog. Things sound better when you don't know the full story. Before I got there it was raining pretty hard and they got flooded. You were like crossing the street and trying to get to the other sidewalk before the water from the sewers invaded the street. When I left, the green line metro had a really long service interruption because of some smoke somewhere, I waited like 25 minutes then walked over to the orange line and got home an hour later than planned. I also heard the orange line was down earlier because of flooding. But no matter, on n'est pas fait en chocolat, the matches were hype, GGs guys. Ranbats thursday? -

Yeah... You might have missed this too, Blade, there's a new GG with rebalance and stuff. I hope they don't nerf 's retardedness, I might need to switch characters if they do. -
ggs 50-50, d-silver bullet, the UK guys, and the usual mtl crew.

I only have it on PS3 and I don't really netplay that often so I didn't think it was worth getting on xbox. ... and you don't need anything besides 5b 5c hell's fang.

use 6d 4d 214d instead, it covers his jump attempts as well. If you catch him blocking in the air, stay safe, but do j.aaaaa stuff to burn his barrier. just backdash instead of using an anti air if you're not sure, if he's switching between j.b and j.2c it's a risk you don't want to take. Dash under him if he super jumps though, go back to fullscreen 6d 4d 214d'ing him. You just want to avoid cornering yourself. everyone gets hit by tager though, it's so easy to misjudge the situation. I have more fun playing ragna instead for this matchup because I find it frustrating sometimes. So yeah lumin, I use inferno divider.

old 2a RC combo : 2a 2b 3c RC 6a 5c 6c habacan 6a 6b 5c 6c (2571, builds back 8) new 2a RC combo : 2a 2b 3c RC 6a 6b 6a j.2c 2b 6a 6c 5d 214d 6a 6c (2900, builds back 18) needs to be farther from corner than starting positions though, it carries a lot. doesn't work on bang, mu, carl, and skip the last 6a on arakune. now the fun thing is you get new oki possibilities after this one. you can end with 6c 5d 214d and if they neutral tech in the air they'll be forced to air block the explosion or get reset. No tech gives you a bluebeat combo and free meter, then you go into normal 6c oki. Back aerial tech makes it whiff though. So, instead you can do stuff like 6c 5[d] SoD(4), if they back air tech, you're breaking 2 primers and getting a free approach because of the combined blockstun, neutral tech you might want to release it at level 3, but you still get an opening with laser backup. This combo is imo the new go-to combo for farther than starting positions into 3c RC from a starter that isn't 5b, 5c or 3c.

Any advice on dealing with D-Nails after I green burst? I feel like bursting just lets him get back in, especially in the corner. I know that I can sometimes DP or 2a after blocked nails depending on the spacing, but let's just say the risk reward for that is kinda bad when your back is to the corner.

it's not a word so there is no "correct" way to pronounce it I wonder if non-mu players think the double 6c 5d 214d combos maguro's using have some kind of swag or if they just see it as more of the same bs. They do less damage and are harder, but build a bit more meter (though not really, because you can't fit as many moves before the RC since the farther they are, the harder it is to do). I think there might be some interesting resets you could do there, because of the overall heavy proration and untech on 214d.
-
Yeah I'm trying that right now. You can do stuff like 2c CH 6a j.2c 2b 6a 6c 5d 214d 6a 6c 5d 214d 6c does around 3.1k and builds 44. as opposed to like 2c CH 5c 6c habacan 6a 6b 6a j.2c 2b 6a 6c 5d 214d 6c 5d SoD 3.8k and builds 45.

I don't think that combo is meant to be done off of 5b. It works with a starter like 2a 2b 3c RC, where as 5b you can go into way more damaging and meter building stuff. like this (pretty sure I've seen him do this too) 5b 5c 2c 3c RC dash 6a :6b dash 6a j.2c dash 2b 6a 6c 5d 214d walk 6a 6c 5d 214d 6c 5d SoD (4850, after RC builds back 36) if someone has a better way of using double bomb let me know, I'm aware that j.2c 2b is pretty bad proration. compared to the one I'm currently running, I dunno which one I prefer, but I'm more used to this : 5b 5c 2c 3c RC dash 6a 5c 6c habacan 66a :6b dash 6a j.2c dash 2b 6a 6c 5d 214d 6c 5d SoD (4930, after RC builds back 31) To add to Zeromus' advice, you really need to be as close as possible to the opponent to get 5d 214d to work.

Considering going. Depends on a few things like, money, transport, hurricanes, etc. I'm guessing it'll have p4u as well. When I want information on something I don't know enough to have an opinion, I don't want it to be biased, and I'm assuming that's the case for a lot of people. -

It whiffed. Inb4 brice disagrees with everything I'm posting, and I seriously hope it doesn't start a debate in this thread, I'm trying to stay neutral here. Basically there are a bunch of student strikes, every night until the situation gets fixed, and sometimes bigger ones, this week on Tuesday afternoon 250k-ish people participated in a protest. There was a new law last week that requires any protest to announce it's itinerary and obtain approval from the police for groups of 50 or more people. It's pretty much an attempt to make protesting illegal. This law also forced students to return to class at some point in August, which wasn't really coordinated with schools, and we don't know how they're all going to deal with this. News and facebook everywhere are going to be biased and manipulative so don't trust what isn't a fact. What happens is that there are people in these protest that call themselves the black block and they just want to break stuff and cause chaos. The police try to keep them in check, but they also do a lot of stuff against passive protesters, like arresting over 100 in last night's protest. The police also do stuff like "block a bridge before the students do it" "break glass in shops near protests and make it look like they were investigating something" "shoot rubber bullets and smoke grenades at crowds". So yeah, it's pretty hard for the police to keep things under control, but they're also doing a lot of "wrong" stuff. Seriously, there's videos of this stuff. One of them showed police just invading a bar because a few clients outside shouted stuff at the officers in the street. Broke a lot of stuff, the owner said everyone left without paying, he just lost a ton of money there. what bibi said is kinda correct. they've done a few offers, like have it over a longer period of time, etc. average tuition is like 2500 per year for a full time student. yes you read that right. 2500. yes we're complaining that they want to increase it. the issue is that the majority of students need some kind of loan to pay these costs anyways, so increasing the amount will only make their debts bigger. The increase in funds the universities get is going to be combined with a reduction of what the government is currently giving them, so they aren't getting that much more. How the universities spend the money is currently a really important part of the debate because there have been many cases of big wastes of funds recently. People say that if the universities spent the money better they wouldn't need to increase tuition fees. edit: it's hard to stay neutral lolol -
