  1. Most Tsubakis will space the unblockable making rolls useless against it.
  2. None of Rachel's normals are safe (except 2A/3C/6C), but even so that doesn't necessarily mean it's safe to press buttons. You can attempt to 6A her instant overheads (not completely advised however) or IB her stuff into Sturm wolf. Alternatively you could look for ways to IB - backdash out of her strings when you can. Pumpkin, George, BBL, and Sword Iris are all + on block, so it's not advised to press buttons during those. This is a matchup that you may find yourself blocking too much. Don't be heavily reliant on wolf since Rachel's circus treatment limits your options but you need to move around to prevent her from easily keeping you in one position. As StarGazer said you need to keep an eye on the gauge otherwise it's gonna definately hurt you in the long run when you run out of meter. Her 2C can be beaten with a throw on her wakeup, or you could delay a [w] 7CD on her wakeup to punish her with a combo of your choice but be aware that if you hit her she will be crouching (although it wouldn't matter if you use 6B) Rachel can easily 2C you after you use 6B unless you gatling it into something tight e.g 6B - 3C. Anything else you do is very likely to get stuffed. Don't jump in on Rachel, her 6A is good. If she combos into the BBL it's very likely you'll end up in the corner, only to find yourself blocking a whole load of mixups.
  3. Unless you input 6236X/2366X extremely quickly like Cor said while you're running (which is extremely difficult, or even impossible) you cannot do it. Ragna can easily dash into Hell's Fang because it requires a 214A input which is easy to do. Doing 236X while running isn't, because as Andru said you need to get into neutral before doing it.. Tsubaki can't get dashing 'hell's fang'. The only way to dash and do it is through the ways DT, TD, Errol and I suggested, like so. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PMAH0YD8Rw4&t=3m43s
  4. Just try it first. And yes, to answer to your question.
  5. I'll be honest. I was thinking the same thing but I didn't want to be the one to say it. But I can pop out of hiding and say I wholeheartedly agree with you. :3
  6. Are you sure? I thought 6B - 3C was extremely tight even on IB and couldn't be DP'd.
  7. I have a problem. Ragna does 214B - 214D and I try to DP the 214D with 623D but I'm always getting hit out of it. What's the problem here? Is Tsubaki's DP that bad or am I doing something wrong?
  8. Oh maybe the Ragna just DP'd late then. Apologies. And thanks for that. I was uncertain about that but now that it's confirmed I dont need to worry about it
  9. First Video: vs Arakune: I have no advice to give you here. I thought you did really well. Nice burst bait. vs Ragna: 8:04 I didn't know 5C had that much stun on normal block for you to be able to block a DP straight after. That was cool. Again I thought you did really well. vs Hakumen: Again nice burst baits. The only thing I'll say here is that you could do a much better combo from a CH 236D with stock. CH 236D - 5CC - 623C - 214A(w) - 214D - 2CC - IAD JCC(delay) - 5B - 2CC - 236B - 214B -22B for about 4.3k I think. It has good corner carry too and funny enough it's the combo I mentioned to BatousaiJ. Alternatively you could use CH 236C - 6CC - 623C - 214A(w) - 623C - J236A(w) - J214D if you have them near the corner. If not you may have to end it there since doing 236D again will severely prorate the combo. Second Video: vs Ragna: Nice stuff vs Hak: Great stuff. TD stop trollin' and just main da girl .-.
  10. First video: First match: I think you could've used a better combo from your [w]J214B when you hit confirmed it as you were in the corner. You could've done [w]J214B - [w]5A - [w]5B - [w]JB - [w]3CJA - [h]2C - [h]6C for a little more damage, possibly a better oki too depending on how you end the combo. Don't give Platinum an easy time to hit you when you're in wolf. If she hits you with 236B and she has you in the corner you are going to take alot of damage. In case Platinum has a bat you could bait it with [w]4C/[w]7C and retaliate with [w]JA - combo etc. Second + third match: In cases where you have 50% heat and you're getting pressured by Ragna, don't be afraid to IB - Sturm wolf against any of his drives that he uses inpressure. Whilst Valkenhayn's CA is decent, it's slow, it can be baited easily and it doesn't cover foot attribute. GGJ seems to not respect you at all (which is to be expected ) and you need to show him at times he cannot always get away with what he's doing otherwise you'll be blocking against Ragna 24/7. Second Video: My same advice applies, like at 1:37 where you could've used the above better combo for instance. GGJ seems to DP very often every time you hit him with 236A. You could get alot of damage if you were to do nothing after or 236A - 4CC(cancel). Alternatively, if you don't want to end with 236A, you could use 5B - 3C - 236A for wolf oki somewhat, or you could use the 3C - 236B-236B ender instead for meter and some corner carry. I hope I helped, even if it was a little, and I also agree with your points.
  11. LOL. Yup. Yea, I've been doing that. However, Tager can counter the delayed 22D with 360/720. Anything else he does would yes, indefinately result in us getting a CH. Also, Tager can outpoke the 22D he IBs the 214D with 5A. He could even IB the 214D, use 214D to block our 22D and then grab us.
  12. Just tested it on the PSP so I may not be truly right, but you're right dude. I didn't know you could frame trap Tager with 22B. I guess it gives us another option against Tager Well this would boil down to player specifics. It's a guessing game at first, but once they can figure out your tendencies, it becomes harder unless you bring something new into it. This is where doing things on reaction come in. On a side note, if you use 214D and Tager IBs it, he can 360B you.
  13. I didn't mention that I Ib'd 5CC. Apologies. Maybe on normal block you can't but I was doing it all the times he ending with 22X and if he didn't do anything afterI remember now. I wouldn't advise 5CC on Tager at all LOL. Coming from personal exp it's not hard for the player to understand how you operate. His 5C can catch your BD and AC will beat our jump on reaction + IB of 5CC. All you need against Tager on block, is 5B for poking, 2C for AA, and unblockables. :3 It's pretty much a boring rinse and repeat process. I dunno, ever since I saw that Ragna player do it, I've been seeing it happen much more often. They would knock Tsubaki away and jump just as she's waking up. It's depressing.
  14. I can't seem to remember now if he did 22A/B. I think I may have caught him with 22A, although my good memory is very debatable. Yea you can, although we've both seen what 623A is capable of....

  20. Sick combo Batousai. Who's feeling risky? 214D - 2CC - IAD JCC (delay) - 2CC - IAD JCC (delay) 5B - 2CC - 214B - 236B - 22B 3.9k (or 22C - 5C - 2C - 236B - 214B - 22B if in the corner 4.1k) Height is very specific with this. They can't be too high.
  21. Airk you're doing it again. Ima kill you. If you're looking for a basic approach around how to get about this matchup, then look at Cor's or even Yukiblue's. They sum it up briefly. If you're looking for something more in depth and specific whilst covering minor stuff such as punishes, read Airk's post. posts coming from both parts are really helpful. On the on end you guys should be happy you're getting information from a Tsubaki player (although I'm not suggesting that you guys are unappreciative.) I will be honest though, I feel like you guys are circuling around the same subject. I see 214D mentioned alot of instance.
  22. The way this is going on makes it seem as if this is Mu's most stressful match or something.
