  1. I'm here! Sorry, I was taking a nap D:
  2. I want to add to what BlackYakuza was saying. You need to make sure that you know basic combos with Hakumen for any given situation. Work on confirming into 3C on the ground or agito in the air for a knockdown. Also, try to avoid using 3C during a blockstring (it's -12 on block, which is very punishable if they instant block). If you're going to use it as a pseudo frame-trap, make sure you use it at max range so that it's harder for characters to punish it. As for counters, try not to rely on them so much. You'll have to get in the habit of blocking instead of mashing counter during someone's blockstring.
  3. I'd be up for being on team Dustloop. Gamefaqs has given me enough reasons to want to through them into a wall, so this will help relieve some non-existent stress.
  4. You can stay relatively immobile if your neutral game is strong enough. I've had games where the only time I moved outside of walking back and forth was in order to react to a jump-in, IAD, or a ground dash. I do agree with making use of your opportunities, as it is definitely harder to open people up in general. Even though I say this, I honestly don't have an issue with opening people up, haha. I force a lot of situations just by playing a strong neutral and pressure game when I need either.
  5. How early are we talkin'? I can commentate as long as it's around 3 PM CST.
  6. Did anyone besides me actually use the updated combo thread? I knew about it first b/c of Bace, but I wasn't sure who else noticed it since the date on the thread was the same...
  7. Can you j.D after 66 > Agito to catch them? I'm not even sure if that works as I haven't tried it yet.
  8. I'll definitely check it out later and give some feedback on what I see.
  9. I use #3 the most, but I use #9 when I want to mess around and #13 when people want me to act like a boss character (stream monsters too good). I'm curious. Do any of you frequently play on a stream or record your matches and upload them? I'd like to see the different playstyles we all have as well as how each of us can deal with certain MUs or situations. If we start collaborating more (as I don't feel we do this enough), we could perhaps adjust our individual styles and remedy our faults. Truth be told, I'm really asking b/c I rarely see Hakumen played in the states. I only really get to see Vineeth play, with the rare occasions where I see Spark being the only other occurrences.
  10. 7PM GMT is correct. Just try to be there maybe 20-30 minutes in advance to make sure your match will still take place.
  11. I'm excited to see Rena promptly clean Zeal's clock for once. Either that or Zeal making her look completely free. I'd enjoy both a lot, that's for sure.
  12. Add me to the list, Token. I want to test out all the Liz tech I learned on some unsuspecting cannon fod-I mean, fellow Persona players...yeah...that's what I meant.
  13. I don't think anyone has really brought up anything along those lines. There's veteran Hakumen players that fall on both sides of the spectrum: ones that enjoy CP Haku and those that don't. I fall in line with the former, even though I've been playing Haku since CT. Maybe it's just b/c I didn't like CSE as a whole, but I honestly didn't enjoy playing Hakumen all that much in CSE. Then again, I didn't enjoy playing anyone in CSE, so...yeah.
  14. Honestly, maybe it's just the way that I play Hakumen that makes me feel differently about this. I don't feel like he's completely one dimensional at this point, nor do I feel like he's lost a lot of freedom. I do agree with you guys on his intended playstyle in CP being more skewed towards big damage, but I don't think that's all he has. Honestly, I win a lot more games without OD finishes or big OD combos than I do with them. I generally just outplay my opponent or make a lot of good reads without having to fall back on OD at the drop of a dime. As far as neutral goes, I still think his neutral is efficient. It's still hindered by his slow movement speed and floaty nature, but I think it can still be strong. Another thing that I've gotten in the habit of doing that I didn't do as much of before (which is strange b/c he was better at this in CSE) is limiting my opponents options at every point possible. I tend to OS or safe jump a lot of stuff now to get past a lot of options that characters have, with the latter being a little harder to make use of b/c of the change in the speed of the game. Oh, and the drive nerfs/buffs don't really matter to me b/c I barely used his drive in earlier versions compared to now...ha...haha...
  15. I don't know, I enjoy CP Hakumen quite a bit when I'm not relying on OD (which is basically never at this point). Using Agito properly instead of just spamming it at every point of a match and not relying on TRM to get things started at close range made things more interesting for me (though I miss the latter a bit). I enjoy messing around with the new combo routes and the new forms of pressure/mixup we have access to. Maybe I'm alone in this
  16. I use Agito oki/pressure a lot in my FT10 with OmniSScythe. You guys should take a look so you can see where DP was an issue for me and where Agito was effective.
  17. At 1:30 PM CST? I should be on time. Not feeling all that prepared, though.
  18. On wake-up or just at neutral? If it's on wake-up, you can OS it and get a 3C on them for trying if your spacing was good. At neutral...I usually just make a read or create space. Chasing them down doesn't really work as they can usually just AA you for whiffing a button through their invul frames.
  19. I need help with this MU badly. Watching Tsujikawa beat Ciel and Film with ease is adding to my already dwindling hope for winning this MU. Her drive really hurts Haku's (heck, everyone's) approach. I go to whiff punish things and get pulled away or towards the ground and get punished instead
  20. I didn't realize that ThienThan recorded our matches. Going to go ahead and link them. BBCP - OmnixAisuno vs ThienThan - Lobby Sets Was far from my best performance, but I think I did alright in the mirror match.
  21. Add me to the list before this actually gets started :P -PSN ID: OmnixAisuno -Character: Main: | Sub: -Region: Southern US/Louisiana
  22. Sorry I wasn't available today. Was busy pretty much the entire day I'll be ready to play on Sunday for sure, though.
  23. Can't you just opt for 66/44 5CC > j.B > etc after the 2D lvl 3 to prevent the side swap? That's normally what I do, though I wasn't sure if it was optimal.
  24. You'll get it the more you practice it. I've gotten to the point where I get it to work on every character consistently when netplay isn't a factor, so it shouldn't take you too long to grasp the timing across the board.
  25. I fought one yesterday. Was really weird not knowing anything about the character. I only played one match against Kokonoe so far, so I can't say much. Fuumajin can help a good bit from what I have seen, though. I'll probably get with Bace later and see if he wants to test some stuff with me since he has Kokonoe.
