I didn't like the changes either, until I saw the game being played. Now, I think I'm okay with it. Is it just me, or does the game look faster? I swear Jin runs faster in those videos than he does in previous games.

You should add P4A to that lineup. Maybe not necessarily for the same prizes, as it's new, but at least for exhibition.

I'm not sure how I feel about this... on one hand, I got used to them, so I did like them. On the other hand, unless they involved 214A they didn't look very stylish. I lol'd From videos, it looked like at least the hitbox was back to CS2 status.

Oh, I know that, but the 700 damage I would sacrifice by just going into B coup at that point was a lot. I got it now: the advice about the full charge being necessary is what I needed, thanks guys. Only took like 3 tries after that advice.

Apparently 6C has very little launch, so in the corner they're at just the right height for 5B

2D looks a lot faster in that video. Not sure what to think of the new j236D... Does it still make you reverse momentum at all? How far does DP B hit the opponent now? Does it still combo into 214D? It may be my imagination, but 2C looks faster too. Is 5B definitely not jump cancelable anymore? Or was someone tripping balls? Looks like we got 2B back as jump cancelable though.

Start charging right after you input the preceding 4/5/6B move. It works best with 4B, because you barely have to move the stick from 4 to 1 to start charging for the C Bufula. As far as that damn combo, I'll try again tonight. I noticed they had always landed when I tried. I'll try making sure to fully charge the B move and try while they're still in the air.Bufula actually has a decent freeze time, so you could easily fully charge B in that time. As a final question, is there any real technical difference between 5B and 6B?

Are you supposed to hit them while they're still in the air after C Bufula, or can you let them land at that point?

Nope, no matter what I tried I can't get 5DD> [4B]> [2B]> 2DD> [4B]> 2AB> C Bufula> [5B]> 2AB> B Coup [3574/None/33] to work. It could be display lag on this flatscreen in my hotel room, but I'll verify that on friday when I get back home to my Asus. Please do test it though. If you can get it to work, then that's probably it.

Maybe the "charge" is just a hold to prevent the followup from coming out?

hit them with j.B when they are blocking low, or sweep>OMC when they are blocking high. You have to rely on pokes and grabs if you don't have any meter. Without meter, crouch confirm, or anti-air confirm Mitsuru seems to have trouble with combos. Alternatively, Zone from the distance using D moves. Also, I can't seem to get the last sweep in this combo to work. Anyone else have any luck? 5DD> [4B]> [2B]> 2DD> [4B]> 2AB> C Bufula> [5B]> 2AB> B Coup [3574/None/33]

Yeah I still haven't found any good corner throw combos. The best I've found is pretty much either throw > 5AA > 2B > sj.B or throw > 5AA > 2B > sj.A > j.C, neither of which are real attractive.

I've had P4U since Thursday. Shit is very different than BB. On the subject of challenge modes: Mitsuru's challenges aren't terrible past 20. There's a couple interesting things I've found out about her combo mechanics via them.

You're forgetting that 214B can now be charged to fulfill the purpose of 214A and the first hit is a low. Unfortunately, they're no longer able to be performed in the air though... I don't know what the fuck they were thinking with removing 6C's dash cancel though. 5B is highly unfortunate, but the move is still okay without it, despite the impact that has on pressure. 6C on the other hand... -
3C > 214B works on full charge? Well that's some good news. Sounds like 214B can't be charged for corner oki though, because they'll probably tech first at the end of a combo. Nevermind, guess it does work. I assume that sekkajin's new followup takes your single freeze, right?

Yeah, if you covered that, you'd have to cover standard proration and frame data too, of which we have no information right now. Not only are these advanced concepts... but you'd have no real examples to show. -

Well, the word bound has two meanings... one is related to binding and the other is related to springing or rebounding. For the purposes of terminology, it could technically be correctly used for either meaning, but is also ambiguous because of it. Bounce and stick are better choices.

Did you hit them in the exact same place 30+ times? It seems this happens more often when I hit closer to the ground. If I'm still the only one seeing this, I may need to record it when I get back to my house on Friday. All the settings are normal though: opponent standing, no awakening modes on either character, no counterhit settings, no nothing. Edit: I was originally using Yu as the dummy when I discovered this, but I verified it works on Yosuke as well. It also appears that he says something when it happens... but I have my voices in Japanese so I can't tell what it is. I'll change it to English out of curiosity. Nevermind, the sound effect seems to be random. It's just coincidental that it happened to be the same sound effect a few times in a row.
