The parry is a little too weak still, they could give the move some degree of usefulness. But yeah, it was pretty damn broken back then, lol It hasn't changed in CP at all, has it? -

Why don't they let Makoto keep the comet cannon combos? They wouldn't be broken if they didn't allow it more than one time per combo, and they look like fun. -

Speak of which, is it basically the same thing as stylish mode, but with the character's whole moveset? It sure seems like it, lol, because if that's the case, then it is technically cheating. But their braindeaded-ness is their main flaw. :P -

Ever seen the CPU's on Marvel? Now they fight dirty, BB's computers are tame compared to them. Damn near unbeatable if you don't abuse zoning strategies, lmao... -

Orb resets work wonders against the cpu's, but, it really depends on what character he is using. If it's a DPless character, omg... The fight just becomes that much more annoying. -

Use the gimmickiest/cheapest strategy you can, and keep repeating it. The computers basically cheat with their command line advantage, and do stuff that would be so hard to do normally so easily and precise. When I use Makoto against a hell Tager, he's an idiot against certain things like Lightning Arrow and Break Shot. Also, when he has a Spark Bolt ready, just throw out a jab from far away, and he will let it out and you will be able to block it, making him totally waste it. xD -

This keeps getting me too... There has to be a lot of people trying her out, and she hasn't even budged a bit on all lists I've seen. If Izayoi is really that bad, I feel sorry for this character! D: She could have untapped potential, but she's been out for awhile now. -

Well that, and the console version has a slight possibility of being different. Most likely not, but there's definitely hope to be had. It's a totally different game, so I don't mind there being some imbalance, so naturally, I'm going in for the fun. And of course Makoto, if she wasn't in the game, I wouldn't even bother, lol -

It is looking better than it was at first. I remember when this thread first started, all I saw listed for Makoto was more nerfs, and I was shocked, lol But now, things are looking up. My only gripe right now is the gap between the upper-ranked fighters and everyone else outside of it. I don't usually go by tiers, but the people up at the top look leagues stronger than everyone, or can get exceedingly lucky off the OD system. -

I am just glad they made her a bit more dangerous this time around, but I still think she needs more tweaking. But at the very least, she is viable without being totally stupid, which I am okay with. Speak of which, why the hell is Tao so damn strong?? I've seen just from the CP videos that she is pretty much derp. I know Tao was already strong, but CP Tao takes the cake easily. Ah, this is good news! -

And it doesn't help that a good deal of her specials now don't combo at all, unless something weird happens, or if you get a counter, and even then, extremely difficult to follow up. Having both short(est) range and near-useless/combo exclusive specials is a bit of a double-edged sword to me. -

She's better, but just barely. I was a bit disappointed to hear that too, but at least now she may stand a better chance against the other characters. -

Just hit her, lol But seriously, idk if the command throw is better than the UB or not, but one thing sor sure, they need to give Tsubaki (and Makoto) some love. It's hard to choose between the UB and the throw. The throw is probably faster, but can be jumped unlike the UB, so not too sure. Tsubaki style pressure with a command throw to worry about seems a bit scary to me, but I have not really seen what it can really do with her pressure. -
