  1. Not really, I've never had problems with Ragna. Most of my struggles stem from Hazama's, Carl's, Valk', and Makoto's hitboxes. Necro mentioning it is the first time I've heard of Ragna hitbox problems in any forum.

It means two things, 1 you're using 41236B too early and two you're most likely using j.B or 6C too early as well. 41236B has the potential to hit both times even off a max height 2C so long as you delay the subsequent 6C and 41236B to the last frame they both can hit on, Ragna and Haz included. from the 3C to the 41236B it's all about "How late can this next one hit before they tech." The more last second, the closer to the ground they stay, the more time you get to connect 41236B properly.
  3. Pretty much. For Relius the best defense is constant offense, keep em' blocking and getting hit. 2C is a choice anti air, 5A picks up things that are too quick for it, and 4D hits things out of its range. Led ley can counter normals with high recovery like DPs or any of Tager and Kagura's. Aside from that CA and blocking well is your best bet. Be sure to check out the combo thread for my Ignis saving and solo combos, they'll let you maintain the offensive for longer.

  5. You mean 5B>3C>6D>41236B? The solution there is to do 5B>3C>41236B then while holding the 6 from the 41236 motion press D shortly after. To be honest "5B>3C>jump+6D>falling j.B>2C>6C>41236B>665B>5C(2 hits)>superjump>j.B>j.C>j.236C~j.214B>airdash" leads to more damage carry ETC while being easier to do and easier convert into from pressure. Feel free to ask any questions you want anywhere in the Relius form, we've not much to do right now.

  12. I always thought RYO was in a constant state of condition 3, or when he didn't work that he'd turn to the player next to him and use his psychic powers on the opponent to remove their ability to punish stuff.
  13. That's more a problem with not enough blockstun frames than it is a problem with start-up. One easily remedied by a good ol' 6D. Really if you're throwing out 6As you're confident that: 1. they're not mashing (a common condition for overheads everywhere) 2. You have or will 50% gauge to Rapid or you have Ignis to help you combo or cover you. or 3. 6A will certainly hit them because you feel it in your gut and you're maverick enough to take the risk. If you meet condition 2 or 3 then there's really no point in worrying about IBs at all.
  14. Last I checked -7 on block wasn't safe at all, (unless we're talking about when ignis is out, but then everything is safe and every day is Christmas.) And it only gets damage if you have Meter/Ignis/Corner. Having said that 6A is actually pretty dang great. It vacuums it gives hard knockdown for unexpected Tus pressure, even though it's super obvious, no one ever reacts to it if you use 66A after falling j.C or gatling into it after 5B/2B. When people finally do react I sometimes just 5B>delay until they stand expecting 6A>3C for big money. I've never been anything but content with 6A. Litchi, who has similar pressure options, has a fast/safe(can gatling)/quick/and descript overhead in 6A(e). So basically we'd just have that. I don't think we NEED that per se, but it wouldn't be world shattering.
  15. For Relish, we can just use 3C on their wake-up to get payed 3400 damage and a full Ignis guage if they 4D. If they get cute with 2D we have a 4D of our own. ; ) God I love this character.
  16. GGs Grimsley, you did some Tager stuff in neutral I've never seen and it worked! Too bad he's a huge serving of cotton candy to Relius, or else you'd prolly have won easily. Also GGs to the rest of the blokes I played today who may or may not be on Dustloop!
  17. ^My life summed up. No where else could Relius expect to get away with 5B>665B>665B>665B>665B as a blockstring, and yet it's so effective online sometimes that I'm considering patenting it.

  19. Nah Necro, it was totally your wish that brought me into existence. Kinda like how Hazama used people's salt to maintain his corporeal form in the early games, I to came to this world by a similar means.

  21. When I get lag, I just tell myself "It's okay if I lose, but I should try to win and become the champion of lag, I SHOULD MAKE LAG KNEEL BEFORE MY MIGHT! LAG IS MEANINGLESS BEFORE MY POWER!!" Then I go on a rampage doing whatever the heck I feel like until they or I die. Then if I didn't have enough fun I leave.
  22. Change the properties on a couple moves here and there, delete my midscreen solo combos by making j.B/j.C/6B make the opponent go too high up. Make 5C or 3C not jump cancelable, decrease hitstun or increase pushback on anything. There's a lot they could do, they could even put in a new move for new combo routes while making the old ones impossible, non profitable, or inconvenient, and also make us rely on Ignis more. For one they could make our confirms a lot harder or costly while making us actually have to choose between confirming or continuing pressure. Many things could go wrong, but I suppose there's no point worrying. I guess I'll just work with whatever we get.
  23. I feel like I may spiral into despair if they change the way his combos work too much in CP2.0. I put so much time into solo combo making and IG cheap combos, and I was just beginning to get 2C/6C>236C>3C/5B combos down with some consistency... There'll be new things to play with more likely than not, and I'll survive so long as 3C keeps being jump cancel-able on block and hit.

  25. I saw it coming... They HAVE to buff them both somehow. I suspect they'll both be getting new moves, Lambda to complement her new drive, and Nu to make up for the 236 inputs that no longer exist (and maybe her 22A input too...)
