I definitely feel that way... Me vs Everyone: Hard to get in close -> lose Me vs Tager: Easy to get in close -> get 720'd -> still lose GGs to NoNombreHombre and XDest. Th-that T-t-taokaka is s-s-s-scary. And Nombre you've gotten quite a bit better. And stop using 2D after you magnetize me. How am I supposed to slide under your for free counter-hits if you 2D?

I wish I knew people that played this game in real life. My brothers/friends don't like it and the local scene is all on different fighting games. *sniffle* I even learned how to play SoulCalibur V because my one friend always wanted me to play it with him, but he REFUSED to play BB. I was all like c'mon dude they're both fighting games.

I know. That's how I made him RAGEQUIT!!! Mwahahahahahaha

OHHHH SNAPPPPP!!!! I smell a nationally televised FT10 coming on. Also does CaButler always ragequit...and use poop-sword Ragna?

[CS1-CSE] Makoto Nanaya Critique and Self-Improvement Thread
Dark Ranger88 replied to Kurushii's topic in Archives
Okay. The first thing I noticed is your approach in neutral. You did a really good job of being aggressive and rushing down the Tsubaki, but you just ran straight at him with 2A/5B too much. Towards the middle and late stages of that match your opponent realized this and started leaving out attacks for you to run into, since he knew that you were going to dash in. It's good to establish that ground presence, but you should mix it up more after your opponent gets used to you dashing in. Try approaching from the air more to jump over their pokes or do fake run ins with dash barrier. Another thing is your blockstrings. They are okay for the most part, but you should not use 5D or 2D in your blockstrings unless you can rapid them. Most people know that they get a free punish after those two moves. Also don't try to reset pressure after moves like 5C, good opponents will almost always mash you out of this, trust me. Also try not to just default into doing stuff>5CC>6BC for your blockstrings. Some variants that I use instead of this are: 5CC>Lunatic upper (frametrap, you can reset pressure here or do one of Lunatic Upper's followups), 5CC>214A-A>Grab/2A, 5CC>214C-D lvl3 (Most people don't know how to deal with this. You can use it to reset pressure with a dash 2A or 5C, and people ALWAYS try to mash after they block this move. This gives you free counter hits. It also breaks a guard primer and fatals if they mash stuff). There is also 5CC>Block or 214B to beat people who try to DP or distortion after 5CC. Other than that i didn't notice any thing glaring, except you need to learn corner combos for more damage. -
I agree with SxB here. Just because someone regularly thinks about sex it does not mean that they are a pervert. It means they are human. Anyways the real definition of a pervert is someone who has unusual sexual desires. Like if he wants to bang Noel soley because she is a robot girl or just because she is a clone of his sister . Or he is absolutely sex crazed to the point that his desire is out of his own control.
-
I was toats joking though...didn't you see my :V ... or the part about banging each other? It's a lost hope because they would lose money by making an XBox version
-
Or...stay with me here...We could all raise a bunch of money, found our own localization studio, and talk with Ark about producing an XBox version of the game at no cost to them. Taken in by our irresistible offer, the company will have no choice but to relent and allow us to bring the game to XBox. Although they would be skeptical at first, the executives at Ark System Works would soon realize the errors of their ways when Chrono Phantasma sells two million copies on the 360. Impressed by Dutloop Localization Inc.'s incredible business foresight, the execs at Ark would permanently absorb our humble start-up into their company. We would then all live happily ever after: working for Ark, getting early info and access to all of their games, having BB every console imaginable, and banging each other every night.

Count me in on the petition. I'd also get my entire extended family, all of my friends, and some random strangers to sign it.

GGs Ace...Fucking slippery Hazama Also have we come to a consensus that there are two types of mashing?: Pro Mashing: Waiting for an opening in your opponent's pressure and intelligently inputting a move that will interrupt them. Scrub Mashing: Wiggling the stick back and forth while spamming C until Inferno Divider comes out or you get fatal'd.
-
And if Ragna keeps resetting pressure with dead spike you'll have to do something or you'll just get guard crushed.
-
Hmm...Thanks guys. Mashing 5A on wakeup is an accident that comes from trying to tech. I'll try to stop doing that because I never actually mean to press buttons on wakeup unless it's a DP. I messaged Elyon and he said I was doing it on wakeup too much...so yeah. Also sometimes I'll use barrier to tech, like when I'm in the air. Sometimes that will get crossed up and a B move will come out.

Best one yet... "DO IT FUCKING DO IT!!" lol
-
Tager & Arakune (Argent), and Mu (Nemesis). My comment wasn't meant to be pessimistic lol. I played better than I usually do today, but my reactions are just a hair off when it comes to blocking overheads/grabs. Hopefully a little more play time will let me defend in time and not get wrecked by mixup. And Elyon...He sent me a message saying I've gotten extremely mashy to the point that I'm no longer fun to play against. I don't know how that's possible because recently I'VE BEEN BLOCKING AND RESPECTING MORE THAN I EVER HAVE. I blocked his Relius mixup until he ran out of Ignis meter, and I rarely attacked to get out of his Ragna corner pressure. I only mash when I think there is going to be a gap that I can actually mash out of. A queston for those who have played me: Do I mash a lot and what should I do instead if I am a masher? Also, this guy came out of nowhere. I just remember seeing him online one day, and he was already good with a bunch of characters. Airk, if you are reading this, I DO mash against Tsubaki
-
GGs to Henjin, Elyon, Wraith, Argent, and Nemesis today. Thought getting rid of the delay would allow me to block mixups...nope.
-
Mwahahaha After a few matchces with Gold Champion200 I found out that Makoto says "W-T-F?" after she gets hit by a Counter Assault. Lol who knew the characters had specific phrases for CAs? ...The rest will come soon...

[CP1.1] Makoto Nanaya's Gameplay Discussion - When's 2.0?
Dark Ranger88 replied to HiagoX's topic in Makoto Nanaya
What about Haz in the corner? If I superjump after 5CC the j.C will whiff half the time, so I do 5CC > jump > j.C j.B x2 -
GGs DrakeBunny, CaButler, Hombre, Argent and Gold. I realized today that I have been playing on some uncalibrated plasma/lcd shit TV that had some kind of input or visual delay. I moved the XBox into my room and hooked it up to a standard TV because I kept getting kicked off by my family...The difference is huge. I can actually react to things now instead of being a split second slower than everyone. I'm still getting used to the timing, and I'm actually trying to block things now. I started getting better at blocking Argent's curse mixup, but man ... one hit and you're dead. I don't think his forward dash has any invincibility.

BlazBlue Question Thread - Ask your questions here!

You should definitely give Taokaka a look to. Her neutral and offensive game are both ridiculous. You can lock people down for days and easily get in on them. Her only problem is that she doesn't have a reversal. Also you can low profile TONS of moves to piss people off. -
Yeah...Then my accidental tech-mashed 5A whiffed on DbD's recovery recoil, and I still lost. GGs to you too. I always learn a lot about neutral and spacing whenever we play. Too bad I'm still in like the 1st grade lol. Also GGs to Lich/Zehawesome and his frustrating ability to use the perfect attack at the perfect time.
-
He's just some shitty Valk He's a hardworking Valk player that is still trying to get the hang of a fast paced, momentum based game.
-
I know that feel...

GGs Gil, Blood6Raven, Argent Zero, and a bunch of others I played.

My mom knocked over our old xbox while I was playing call of duty 2. It did make that terrible shredding noise and the disc had a weird ring around it. It still worked though, so you might be able to idk buff the disc or something and it could still work. (My brother and I were scared to death when we heard the noise. Unless your disc actually broke into peices like you said, then you'll be out like 15 bucks.
