This is true. And what do you mean your execution is bad? Tager's combos are HARDER than Ragna's. If you can do all them colliders, you can definietely do 6C > Dash > 6B.

GGs to Airk and Neji. That was a REALLY weird set of matches between us three; for a while there it looked like you were rock, I was paper, and Neji was scissors. Also I was doing some really weird stuff during those matches because I was trying to break in a new neutral style, new pressure, and new corner combos. Turns out that trying new stuff versus two skilled opponents makes me panic and press buttons randomly. I was bursting at some pretty scrubby times there out of frustration, and I ended up abandoning most of the new stuff. I need to go practice this stuff against some losers first lol. Also I got my ethernet cable today.

Is there any news on how this 64-man lobby thing works? Do you just highlight and click on people that you want to play against? Will there be multiple individual mathes going on within the lobby, or will 62 people watch 2 people play? (stupid, I know, but I'm just speculating here)

Maybe not offline, but netplay is another story. Plus once I move my router and Xbox to opposite sides of the house the poor guy won't know what hit him.

GGs NoNombreHombre and Shock Foxx My bad I wasn't paying attention. You were doing a lot better when you started using 720 on me. Tagers always seem to know when I'm going to stay on the ground smh. Then there was the time I visioned over you to bait, but you 720'd slightly late. Tager was waiting for me to land behind him lol. Scratch that, use Magna Tech Wheel because it'll hit even when I'm in the air. (You might have been trying that actually because I saw your 5B start up during one of my blockstrings) Also, should I have passed more? I didn't realize that I was hogging the room until like 8 games in.

That can be very dangerous. Most Relius..es? or Relii? (sp?) or whatever do a looping blockstring that you can't mash out of at all. Trying to mash out simply plays into his hands. With Makoto, one of the main things I do is hit with a move that lets me reset pressure if you block it. Trying to mash A's after that simply plays into my hands . People only get out of that move by anti airing, jump grabbing, DPing, or ... walking forward. What I'm saying is that, unless you have a DP, you have to do multiple things to get out of pressure. Intelligent mashing, backdashing, up-backing, etc all lose to certain types of pressure. You have to know what your opponent is going to do and pick the proper option. Then, even if you do get it right your opponent will adjust his or her pressure to stop whatever method you were using to get out. tldr; Dealing with rushdown is complicated.

I usually do dash > 5CC > 2D lvl1 > 5B > 5C > j.B > j.D for midscreen. If you are close to the corner then you can corner combo them. You can also just Corona Upper after j.B to leave them right in front of you. You might be able to get a 2C for a better combo, but for ease I just do 5C. If you are in the corner you can cross under them, then 5C into a corner combo. Edit: Oh and for midscreen bursts you should let them start falling before you dash 5C or you might cross under them and whiff, making you look stupid...

Yeah, sorry guys. When I realized it was you two in the room I was like, "Ohhhh...This is gonna be awesome!" But then lag happened. I feel kinda bad for ruining you guys' training session, until Rachel Arukardo came in and turned it into a clock cleaning party. Also this. GGs Lime. S-Strong You, my friend have a knack for knowing when to poke out of pressure and throwbreak. I'm surprised you didn't completely obliterate me with Tager. I cringed when you picked him because you were calling out my presh and mixup with everyone else you used. Oh, and you crossing up my anti air in the corner with Ragna made me sad. Oh well, at least I didn't lose against my own character, even though it looked pretty bad during that first rebel. Can't wait to play you when you're not rusty . @Toan - I didn't know you just wanted to spectate, sorry. It's a long story, but I can't actually check dustloop while I'm playing Xbox. @Chao - Hope you enjoyed the matches and learned some of my shitty tricks. Try to ignore all of the execution errors in the first few matches. You're not supposed to do empty Asteroid Vision A's in people's faces. Edit: @Lime - Don't worry about it. You played better than I did and still would have won your matches. I actually think its kinda funny when that happens during air combos. Both people land and are like, "What the hell just happen-*start jabbing*"
