Hmm...I like my quotes based on the way the characters' voices sound, not any deep or philosophical reasons. My favorite is probably English Platinum (Luna) doing a forward aerial tech: "Oh, ho ho ho. It is sooo on!" *sigh* So much intensity and inflection packed into one phrase. Come to think of it I have a TON of favorite quotes: "Bring it on Jin / JIIIIIINNNNNNN," "Dohnt cahm neer mii," "I'm different. I'm different," etc. Special mention to Makoto's special intros with Noel/Tsubaki: "I had to work really super hard to remember that you know," and "You're going to practice that until you get it right." P.S. This is kind of a question for whoever can help. While browsing through the sound gallery I came across a few of Makoto's in game voice clips that I have never even heard. I belive at around voice number 40 or so she says "You SUCK!" "Now...I'm MAD," "W-T-F," and "You coward!" I've gone into training mode and tried to get her to say them but with no luck. If anyone knows what in game prompt gets her to say these please let me know.

Sorry to say this guys, but I don't think I'll be coming to Game Galaxy anymore. I enjoyed playing with you guys, but I like BB way too much to spend 3+ hours NOT playing it. I might join you guys if you ever pick up BB again or if I get into any of the games played at GG. Good Luck!

Simple question here. How long do you have to wait before hitting an opponent in order to reset them instead of blue beating? What I mean is, when you knock an opponent to the ground and they refuse to emergency tech how many frames have to pass before damage scaling resets. I've been trying some stuff in training mode, but I can't get it consistently. Most of the times I try to OTG someone it blue beats, and half the time this actually works to my disadvantage by getting me hit in the face after I whiff an attack. Thanks in advance.

Isn't Suguri a game where you fly around and shoot stuff? How can you have a tournament with that game? Is the winner whoever posts the highest score or is there some kind of head to head mode.

Hmmm...I don't want to get off into too many games (damn you, muscle memory), but I would play the hell out of some Arcana Heart 3. Actually I've been thinking of getting into Arcana, but I didn't think that many people played it. Do you know how the online is for that game? Edit: Lol. I was joking about that. Good to know though.

1.)Post matches so we can see what you are doing, and hopefully give you advice. No one is going to judge you, because we all know how hard it is to jump into the fighting game genre. You have to get your ass kicked A LOT to become competent vs human players. Then you have to get your ass kicked EVEN MORE to actually become good or great. 2.) If I may ask. How many matches have you played online exactly? Also you should stop playing against the computer altogether and limit the amount of things you practice in training mode. There are some things, like blocking and neutral, that you MUST learn by playing against real people. IMO training is only good for practicing combos, blockstrings, and okizeme. Playing against the computer is actually detrimental your skills. 3.) You should get a sparring buddy, someone really good, someone who can talk to you and give you advice. Preferrably this would be a Lambda player, but anyone who is really good should suffice. I've had a few breakthroughs while playing 50+ matches with the same person over and over again. When you've found your sparring partner you shouldn't worry about winning or losing. You should worry about getting better. Also tell your sparring partner that you are trying to improve (and that these are not serious duels to the death), and make sure he is not a complete and total asshole. Getting your corpse beaten or purple grabbed after you lose can multiply the frustration of improving in this game to unbearable levels. 4.) Also you should think for a minute about what exactly you want to get out of this game. Do you love your character and simply like using her no matter what the game mode/opponent is? Do you love the story/art/style/discussion of BlazBlue and like posting on these forums? Or do you like the competitive aspect of the game and want to beat the shit out of people? Think about that. If you just like watching Lambda fight and think she's cool or beautiful, then the added frustration of playing online versus real people might not be neccessary. If you DO want to become competitive or competent at this game then stay the course and play against the best people you can. Fight them hundreds of times. Fight them thousands of times. Fight them until the game makes sense. (Also, it is possible to like EVERYTHING about this game)

WIP means that my Gamertag is a "work in progress." While in college I played on my friend's account as Dark Ranger88, but now I need my own. I should have some money to drop once I actually start getting paid from my job, then I can get off of PS3 and its terrible latency.
