  2. But for real, it looks like they're building upon what they did with Injustice and making environment interactions a big part of gameplay and it looks like they're bringing back MK4 weapons. Glad the animation looks a lot smoother. I am concerned though, in the official press release they state "powered by next gen technology" but they are releasing PS3/360 versions, so I hope there is not a huge difference between current and next gen [hopefully that's just a buzz line] but man, I hate when they announce stuff so far away = 3= UUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUGH.
  3. Why not just create a sort of "trial run" for these sections. Create a sub-forum for Arcana Heart 3: LOVE MAX!!!!! in the Misc Fighters sections [much in the same way Hokuto was prior to it being moved but constructed in the same manner in the Misc ARC fighters section] so that threads related to the title can at least be centralized. Then let it run for hmm, 3 months? And if you are satisfied with self moderation, information compilation, and community growth in that period you can put it up to a more informed vote of whether or not to expand it to the levels of other main featured titles? The same could be done with Under Night in-Birth [closer to release, and possibly after AH's trial run] which I honestly believe is the stronger of the two candidates in this topic due to its fresh status and lack of firmly established information.
  4. Huh? Is something happening to Homing Cancel? Also is Melty Bread not going to support UNiB? I mean if Dustloop expands and has dedicated sections for those game cool, just wouldn't want any toes to be stepped on.

  7. Still not jazzed about Sisca's new look . . . but I'd be lying if I said the game wasn't looking pretty~ I wonder what systematic changes [if any] Free has planned, since I think E's Laf's current base system is pretty damn solid.

Well it's the same image as the one from the teaser trailer [which interestingly has Pairon in it but not Ryuga, who---to the best of my knowledge---was introduced at the same time as Pairon and are both new characters . . . Also still has Xiaomei and Altina]. I didn't want to examine it further, but it confirms a lot of my fears. First off, all of the character art [original characters excluded] are pulled from their respective games [done by Tony Taka], which pretty much reveals a tragic pattern . . . This game might as well have been called Shining Blade 2: Arcus as the entire cast I've identified so far come from either Hearts or Blade [which share many key characters]. There are only 2 characters I can't seem to put my finger on, so they MAY be original: top farthest right - Rick Elwood (protagonist of Hearts and member in Blade) bottom farthest right - Roselinde (Blade) top, 2nd farthest left (above Xiaomei) - Fenrir (Blade) bottom center (under Altina and next to Pairon) - Melty (Hearts) bottom farthest left - Rouna (Hearts) top farthest left - Dylan (Hearts and Blade) There's a really bizarre and horizontally elongated figure between Altina and Melty... [wishful thinking, it is somehow Blade Crow]
  9. New PV Shows off all 6 playable characters that will be in this weekend's testing. Also, is it just me, or does the game look and run alot smoother/better?
  10. lol there's a Poco sketch in there, I know Free has been helping Zinac and Spike with Fearless Night. Also it looks like that color scheme is final, and I really don't like default .v. also I hope he doesn't mess with the simple cool of Tae too much ; w; Otherwise, yeah, lots of interesting things to look at, development sketches are always nice to look at~
  11. WTF did he do to Sisca? Now she has TOO much going on .v. Other than the questionable new design it looks all good. I wonder what prompted him to change cell shading since he already had a relatively good system with the sprite work and he already put in so much time into making those 4k Sisca sprites?

  14. Baiken could benefit from YRC on Tatami, Kabari, and Suzuran. Also, when Baiken GCs [before hit obviously] no one is in hit/guard stun so could she theoretically YRC her Guard Cancel moves [would that limitation even apply to your own hit/guard stun?]? If they let her keep Ouren then that would be another beneficial YRC, otherwise [depending on how it would work] GC+K might be the only one getting the most benefit from YRC.
  15. You want to know how to improve Bullet? Just look at the evolution of Street Fighter 4's Hakan. But don't listen to me, I'm a bad player.
  16. Hmm, if that's legit, I think I'll wait on importing, since the JPN ver isn't coming in anything special and this would be a physical release .o.

Well it doesn't appear that there are assist only characters per se at the moment; all of the playable characters can be chosen as partners [and going from the player guide partners appear to have a wealth of options as opposed to say Aquapazza or Dengeki]. The only notable exception is Yukihime who is an apparent 2-in-1 with Rage [although she has only appeared in -artwork- form in one his attacks so far].
  20. From the initial teaser's silhouettes one wolf can be made out pretty clearly, so it is a safe bet there will be one playable.
  21. Lost Swords turned out so much worse than I expected . . . I was joking at first but Bamco really did want to make it worse then Revolution in every way. The sad part is the game is so uninteresting to play, which is not something you ever want associated with your game. It's not even a fighter! Thanks to all the stats and elemental stuff it really just boils down to mashing enemy weakness button until win. And then if you don't have the right elements fights get drawn out with the enemy's little buffer state and the fact that it is so cumbersome to change out stuff due to the ridiculous load times is just . . . UGH!! Like you recover play points every 3mins but you'll spend 2 just loading alone. And why reuse all of the assets from V if you are going to remove things like Ring Outs [i mean I know it is to make it casual friendly, but it is mad annoying as I could save so much time . . .] and the survival format of the fights are broken, you recover almost no health by default as they want to do everything to inconvenience you, good thing the AI is mostly dumb and only mashy at times. Ugh, I have so many more problems but yeah . . . [/vent]
  22. I dunno...maybe it's just me...but I'd rather have money put into a new title, not an unnecessary upgrade to the game (especially since one has been teased for years now . . . :\)
  23. Location test set for 5/9~11 and there will be 6 playable characters. So far we've got 2 original, 3 Blade reps, and 1 Hearts rep I can already feel the sting of dream-match-itis

Because people fear something that happened once on a scale of very miniscule instances, which was only decided upon for a very realistic business point of view, no matter how scummy [which certainly doesn't affect this release since it is in no way planned for international distribution at this point] Also I like the stages, having an uncluttered arena is nice, and well they are like that because [plot] lol.
