Every time I hit somebody with spark bolt and they just flaccidly plop to the ground across the screen from me, I become a sad panda. Okay, so, we're starting to get a thing going for BB/P4/GG in Raleigh, at Wednesday Night Fights. (Wednesday nights, Champps restaurant in Raleigh). Seems like we're going to do an every-other-week thing, so next time will be on the 13th of February. We had a decent turnout last night, all things considered. Thank 7thFonon for getting it started.

Oh I get what you mean. I misunderstood the ~ part. Still I'm afraid a 5D or 2D would come out, even with the advanced input. Even if you can't do GF I have to imagine it'd still remember that you pressed D and do a D move.

Wouldn't you just get a 5D if you couldn't GF? If not, that would certainly be nice. And easy to do. Heck I could autopilot into 5B > 5C > etc and it wouldn't matter if the GF landed.

This. I mean, if you use it midcombo then you're literally working with less hitstun than off of a raw hit, and you can still combo off of it.

Well considering the fact we can use non-instant j2C midcombo in CSX and get away with it if we hit them with it when they're in the air (like after a magnetized 3C > AC whiff, or after a close 6C), then I think it goes without saying that we could also combo off of it if we hit them raw in the same relative position in CSX. That CP example you posted kinda just looked like that situation. Again, I'm pretty sure that if you raw j2C a standing opponent, they'll recover before you can hit them with anything else, since in that situation they hit the ground much sooner than you.

Comboing off a raw non counter j2C still seems to require them to be up in the air with you. I doubt you can do it if you hit them while they're on the ground. I'm not sure if that's really an improvement considering we could combo if we j2C'd them while they're above us in the air already.

Well that's hardly something to rely on...

I swear I've caught people in a larger vertical range with his regular throw than air driver seems to. That might just me getting my perception fooled though, due to a variety of potential contributing factors...
