  1. Seems weaker to me than it was in AC+R. Yea you get gimmicks with shooting stun edges thru it but it seems less active and slower than AC+R. I won't know until I get the game and try it out. But I really don't see much of a reason to be in the air a lot as Ky in Xrd since they took away his knockdown off of Vapor Thrust and nerfed j.S's hitbox back to #R. Like I guess antiair j.K and j.P will still be good but your likely better off using 2H, 6P, airthrow or 5P antiair in terms of reward.

  5. You are unaware. 3H timings are important. You have to know the exact timing for Sol and Chipp at least. You have about a 2 frame window in order to be VV/Betablade safe oki. There is other stuff but yea it makes a small difference.
  6. Yea I saw a Ky JI so he could airdash after RCing VT to continue combo into the corner for ciel knockdown. Other than that I haven't noticed any.
  7. KY/JU is indeed pretty bad. But I'm not sure it's 3-7. Feels pretty terrible if Justice gets her bombs going tho. If your having trouble with the bombs. You can TK Hard Slash Stun Edge and it will go inbetween all justice 22whatevers unless she FRCs the P one and goes directly into the K one. Or if it is already in travel for too long But if she tries to get the multibomb sets out then TK Stunedges are pretty strong tool. Another option is trying to trade 1-2 hits of a bomb with a f. Slash which will negate all other bombs.(Including the remaining hits on the bomb you traded with) Other than that the only methods Ky has with dealing with it is dash breaking which isn't quite optimal but it can set you up for the f.S threat which will end the bomb spam. assuming she doesn't FRC it. Her normals tend to be pretty good against Ky ground to ground is the other issue. 5P, 5K, f.S, 5H, 2H, 6H are all buff as hell normals. If you knock her down tho she is pretty open to whatever mix you want to try on her.
  8. Chipp had a 1.31 modifer in XX, #R and / but in AC they changed how they calculated it or something and it went to 1.30.But yea it's pretty much the same. Man Potemkin got nerfed hard from the XX games. He had 0.87
  9. Game costs 1500. You can get a 1000yen and a 500yen card or just get a 3000yen card. Me and Won just did 3000yen cards. We paid $48 for our cards but it was pretty much instant. We played the online last night. If your going to do it at all you want to pick Kliff's Stage. It's kinda bad but you can definitely play it. Kliffs stage helps the most with the connection.
  10. 1st combo at 2:20. He RC'ed the Lightning Javelin to remove the landing recovery. He likely went for the FRC but mistimed. 2nd combo at 4:33 good spacing for that combo and used 2P pick up (fastest move) also Slayer is pretty floaty so pick ups are fairly easy on him.
  11. Yea the 5H>6K air juggle stuff is really damaging. It doesn't work on everyone tho. The Sols fall thru the 6K. Sucks. But works on at least Ky/Robo Ky/May/Slayer/Anji. For Potemkin you have to 2P for pick up I think. 5S isn't fast enough for him (Hits Rky just fine tho.) But You can do like juggle 5H>6K>5S>2H>623H>S>6H>6K easily on most of them. (I had issues with Anji but it looked doable.) Not sure if you can get the 2nd rep. You get pushed back quite a bit.

  13. Eh... j.2S has that weird hitbox where it hits behind Dizzy right away, then below her (This is what most people time), then in front of her. It kinda air to airs decent. Not great. Will definitely lose to any good air to air. Unless he meant Dizzy j.P shitting on air to air which I would believe.
  14. That game is called the North America Fighting Game Community. Anyway looks cool. I'm betting one of the test characters will be Dizzy or Sin just from the placement of Sol/Ky on the website. Pretty weak guess but has to be a reason Ky is in the middle instead of Sol.

  18. Yea I think that is exactly what it is is. I didn't see many Ky's use it outside of the middle of the combo but it looked like it was doing a lot more then it did in AC. I was really excited when I saw how much damage it did. But why is Ky the only character to get such a feature? And 70% seems really high on a move right Charge Drive. 98 damage end combo seems a little insane.
  19. Don't worry about it. Ky got better is the best news about ACR. The 70% Base damage on Charge Drive is retarded. Also still one more test to go. But 80% of the changes are good. Altho Won seems sad life about the Dizzy changes.
  20. +17 on block, When meaty it would bait Volcanic Viper/Beta Blade/Whatever you want, Gattling from close slash, insane guard crank, jump cancelable, special cancelable, it was a very good move. Forces crouching on hit too because why not. It's also just as fast if not faster then the new one. It was really really good. The one is kinda bad compared to it. His old one was one of the better normals he had.
