All of mine are out dated. I got out of the habit of saving vids. But trust me I'll get on it from now on. We'll see what happens next week. I can't play too often because of school but we definitely need to get this going.

I don't know. That's not what I use it for. I only use it when I'm air dashing (as in my opponent is atleast half a screen distance from me). -

You could try to catch someone with it. If you do you'll probably catch them lower in the air than you normally would which is fine. But for the most part, you use the karathrow because of the trajectory it sends carl. For me the main use of it is to not throw the opponent but to get to the ground quickly and hit my opponent with a low attack before they can react to the fact that I went downward so fast. When you airdash the opponent normally expects an aerial or high attack. To answer your question more specifically, karathrows at the end of the day are slower than just throwing normally. This is because of the little exta time it takes for you make the extra inputs. Other than that the throw speed is not different. -

First of all take a look at the combos that are posted in the 101 thread. j2C~B is not in any of them. There is no need to ever use that in a combo. Don't confuse yourself. You use air dash j2C~B when you want to get in on your opponent but you want to trick them into blocking high but since you fall really fast you can catch them with a low attack instead. j2C~B has nothing to do with allecan. I was just answering your question as to why carl dropped so fast in the video you posted. To answer your question Mika Carl's Kara throw (I'm talking about his ground kara throw) supposedly gives him the greatest throw range in the game. I don't use it often though. -

No the ~ means to kara your buttons. In other words, if I type C~B, that means the amount of time between when you press C and when you press B is almost non-existent. You don't press the button at the same time but you pretty close in doing so. Press C and as fast as you can press B in quick succession. -
I doubt it. But the invincibility frames of the throw may make up for that. I was thinking the same thing though Kyle. The best defense against the projectile is to try to throw Carl a lot.

We've opened Kyles eyes now. Carl is looking pretty bunz right now. But there's still hope. I'm hoping that his projectile stays the way it is but I want some more buffs darnit. >.<

Good matches Kyle. I use to spam the crap out of jA but I for some reason got out of the habit. Thank you for reminding me how good it was. Atleast against another Carl. By the way whenever I got you in the throw loop, you didn't seem to use Nirvana to help you get out.

What you want to do is Kara throw his j.2C during his airdash. So what you would do is airdash and the press j.2C~B. Press the B quickly after j.2C (really quickly). He'll cancel the initial frames of his j.2C into a throw, but the momentum from his j.2C will still remain and thus carl will fall fast to the ground. Learn it, as it is very important for Carl's offense. -
I was looking at the part where Jin uppercutted Carl's 2A. The carl player used 236A VERY late. Had he done it soon after the 5C if would have worked out. So thats a relief. Edit: I also just looked at the part where you thought Hazama teched Nirvana's 8D (then the person's head got in the way). I think Hazama bursted. Edit2: About you questioning whether 2D ground bounces or not. 2D never hit Hazama. If you look closely you can see him block the 2D. He was standing the entire time. What hit him was Carl's 2B. You can see the yellow "!" infront of him.

Dude have you not seen the improvements she's gotten. No she will not be as good as she was before but she still looks beast. Plus Carl is not a good "sub" character. Well maybe he is now that the throw loop is gone. I can't really tell you what the transition would be going from Rachel to Carl is except, learn to block more. =/ -
The official name is "Volante" Nirvadouken or nirvanadouken are much more epic.

People have a misconception that once the go to a stick everything will work out. It doesn't. It took me 2 weeks to even become mediocre with a stick. Had a played anyone at any game during that 2 week period I would've played on a pad because I wasn't ready yet (fortunately I never played anyone during that time). Here were somethings that I initially had trouble with: dashing, shoryuken inputs double quarter circles. But now I have no problem with them. I remember when one time I had to play on a pad, and I just couldn't do it anymore. I could hardly dash on the pad because my thumb was no longer use to double tapping so quick lol. So yeah work at it. After about a month you should be alright. The thing is, the things you can do easily on a pad you can do on a stick with practice. But the things you can't do on a pad are more easily done on a stick. About the tournament. Yeah I didn't do as well. The two guys who had a chance of beating me (Titanium Beast and Frank the Tank) were the two guys that took me out of the tourney pretty early. I wish I had fought other people that way when I finally did fight those guys I would have atleast got a higher place. TB's Ragna I can beat but he was the better player at the time. Rachel I still have trouble with period. I've yet to fight a really good Rachel online. So yeah there ya go. =/ -

I don't use my pinky. But I know people who don't use their thumb. You should figure out what works best for you. Thumb-D Index- A Middle-B Ring-C But seriously don't rely on others, just keep working at it. Are you new to stick? -

OMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMG!!! Carl's projectile has to be the most annoying thing ever. I could not stop cracking up at how good it is. The hit stun is very minimal but its such a HUGE distraction for the opponent. Its so hilarious. http://www.youtube.com/user/wx3016#p/u/1/4k5DJAoeViY

Actually I didn't consider the sword to be that bad against Baiken. Just not exceptional.
