Using Bang's Drive is more like Hakumen's Drive if anything, nothing like Makoto's. In theory you would want to use them on reaction to certain attacks which means knowing the properties of each one. 6D has guard point on frame 1 to mids/lows which means you can sort of use it as a ghetto reversal but it can get beat, so don't try spamming it (although that works for others....) Besides that, you should think about which teleport is most effective in the current situation. So maybe instead of trying to teleport close and land a hit, you might want to just teleport away (out of the corner), and just go back to neutral OR not teleport at all. The other thing to keep in mind is knowing what you can cancel into from each one on block/hit, although it is kind of cut and dry. 5D/6D are special cancel, jump cancel on hit, or rapid cancel. 2D is jump cancel or rapid cancel. j.D is jump cancel on hit or rapid cancel. So pretty much for 5D/6D you'll have to cancel into 623B or nothing, 2D you'll be jump canceling (which means you could TK D Nails), and j.D you're basically stuck. Other uses would be knowing that you can actually gatling into drives off certain attacks but the practical applications of that more or less comes down to reading your opponent and knowing if they are gonna try and press buttons. The last use would be to possibly punish wake up DPs if you make the right read.

There isn't a damn thing to think about in that match-up (well Vs. Arakune), imo.
-
Pretty sure he doesn't care about "shit talking" so much as off-topic nonsense. As long as it stays about the game/matches.

Not sure why you uploaded them yourself since they are old and have been posted before. Here are some that are higher quality and have English subtitles that were roughly translated. http://youtu.be/FwS2vsJveAM http://youtu.be/F49IILoxQm8

[CSE] PSN - ID Thread / Chatroom Invitations
zeth07 replied to zeth07's topic in BlazBlue Online Play
Sent a bunch of Friend Requests and Chat Invites to everyone so far. Whenever people accept the friend requests and whenever the next time I get online, I will then send the chat invites to those people. EDIT: Neo_Zeromus_X is the only person who I couldn't add due to him being at the limit. I think you probably already have the chat but if not you can add me or just ask someone else on your list OR don't even bother with it at all if you don't feel like it, lol. -
[CSE] PSN - ID Thread / Chatroom Invitations

Sure, I'll just make a separate section for that. List Updated. I will send chat invites out to everyone added so far next time I go online. If you aren't already on my friend's list I will add you, you don't have to keep me on there if you don't want to after I send the invite. Due to the limit, I will eventually have to remove people from my friend's list so don't take offense to that, lol. If you're already invited and have the chat I don't think you'll even receive it. If I invite you to the chat and you don't want to use it, feel free to ignore it. I'm going to make note of the list and just go down it, so once I invite you the first time you shouldn't have to worry about receiving it again (as in you don't want to join and don't want to keep receiving chat invites.) I really hope people make actual use of this thread and add people to their friend's list to play against. Or at least use the chat room to find matches if you don't like going into the match finder thread. -
[CSE] PSN - ID Thread / Chatroom Invitations
zeth07 replied to zeth07's topic in BlazBlue Online Play
I basically took the regions from the Census, but since I was using this for the Danisen League back then I moved some states around in the groups since some had more or less than others. The rest were just listed as needed. It was all basically already done for me the way it was. Didn't really see a need to change it beyond that. Whatever is not included, will be included as needed. I'll fix it up tomorrow. EDIT: Added those. -
[CSE] PSN - ID Thread / Chatroom Invitations
zeth07 replied to zeth07's topic in BlazBlue Online Play
Will do. Anyone who feels like including that feel free and I will include it. And just to point out, I removed the time zone thing cause that doesn't really matter since I have it organized this way. I'm just so used to including that with the tournaments that I kinda forgot. So you DONT need to include your time zone. -

This thread is going to be used to organize everyone's PSN ID by Region and to invite people into the PSN Chatroom "BLAZBLUE CONNECTION" when they post it up. I urge people to use this thread to find other players within their "region" and actually ADD them to your friend's list, that way you can avoid lag as much as possible by playing people near you if you gotta play online. I will send an invite for the PSN chat room to EVERYONE that adds their name to the thread, that way at any given moment more people could potentially be in the chat to play against or just socialize. I know a good number of people probably already have access to the chat, but I'll send invites anyway (I don't think you even receive them if you already have it.) FORMAT: PSN ID: State/Province: Main: Sub: Availability: **Note** - If you live in Europe/Latin America, you can just put what country you live in instead of State/Province. -Just copy and paste the format because I really don't want to have to look for the information. -Main/Sub/Availability are optional and please don't get out of hand with it, I'm only gonna list one or two characters. -Availability should just be like morning/afternoon/evening if you feel like including it. -Please try to only include 1 PSN Account, that way people don't have to worry about which one to add or look for to play someone. -Please don't act like a dick in the chat, nobody wants to deal with that stuff. Shoutouts to Seifuku,
-
You can do the relaunch combos, or just jump cancel the j.D and still go into 2B>stuff.
-
I think one of the more messed up things was that they had Cody and Guy in one of the original trailers which was a huge sign that they would probably be in the game, only to have them be released as DLC. (ignoring the fact of the on disc thing entirely.) I really don't like how Capcom handles business and some of the things they say in interviews which is why I've decided to not give them money anymore. I used to like their games in general which is why I still pay attention to this stuff, but at some point I had to draw the line and I did it a while ago. And before anyone says anything, I don't like the DLC business for the most part entirely, no matter what company it is. In BB I only bought the DLC characters for obvious reasons and even then I do not like the idea of that, I'd rather companies just spend more time on the games and release them later, "completed", even if we have to wait a few more months or even a year+.
-
So I have to ask, who's gonna be the first person to release a Platinum Combo Video with "Platinum Disco"? It sounds way too fitting (besides whatever the lyrics mean). Or did someone already do it? lol...

http://www.eventhubs.com/news/2012/mar/03/models-street-fighter-x-tekken-characters-and-alternate-costumes-disc/ Posted by ShiroiKaze on March 3, 2012 at 7:17 p.m. #45 they are totally complete... fully rigged, animation files, voice files, etc... I wasn't able to get the textures to display properly with the software I was using... they just appear as normal maps like on Abel.... expect these characters to be fully playable on hacked consoles in the near future, should be possible by just hex editing Posted by ShiroiKaze on March 3, 2012 at 7:58 p.m. #77 I just sent in an image of Alysa's folder to emphasize these are very complete characters... you will be seeing them playable within a week. Posted by ShiroiKaze on March 3, 2012 at 8:56 p.m. #119 The textures turn out to be a little wonky because everyone also has a pandora texture layered in... not worth the time it would take to figure out how to correct this is software that was designed for ripping sf4 models. You will without a doubt be seeing gameplay vids either from me or someone else soon. Posted by ShiroiKaze on March 3, 2012 at 9:08 p.m. #125 I was lucky enough to get these models off the game somewhat easily... I just used existing tools designed for modding Street Fighter 4. A lot of the file formats are the same... except textures are layered DDS files like those found in Soul Calibur. Also the software doesn't properly display animation... I tested it on known finshed characters like Ryu and also on Elena... both have complete sets of animation, however the software I'm using doesn't display it properly... piece of the geometry goes nuts. Again this is not because the characters are incomplete, it's just there aren't viewer tools geared specifically towards this game yet. Posted by ShiroiKaze on March 3, 2012 at 9:14 p.m. #126 as for why would Capcom leave the DLC on disc... well if the rumors are true then the SF team is hard at work on Darkstalkers 4.... they removed 12 characters from the original roster of SFxT so they could still appear to be supporting the game with DLC while not really working on the game at all... as to why they think we wouldn't catch them... why did Rockstar leave hot coffee on GTA3? --- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2w97xsUbJHY

Considering how many Japanese matches get taken off Nico and put on Youtube, I don't think people have much of a place to complain to you at least. As long as you're not making money off it.
-
You keep picking out the most random points of my post to make an "argument", lol. But to answer you, since Hazama is a villain along with Relius, him just chillin there kinda makes sense and isn't remotely "funny" to be like a joke that you'd laugh at. Bang as a character is mobile and at least has FRKZ in theory, so being weighed down and having that punishment makes sense as well and isn't exactly LOL-worthy. But then you have Makoto...in a human sized hamster ball....You're really gonna say that isn't more of a "joke" than Hazama's and Bang's? But none of that is important since I was just making a random observation.
-
Well I didn't mean it so much that Makoto was "weak", but more that her being put in the hamster ball is a bit of a joke in and of itself. And it would make sense if it was to seal a character's power, but so many other characters NOT having it just makes that seem so random to do for that reason. It just seems like extra added effects that weren't needed, but for whatever reason were included.
-
I was going through Relius' Astral on everyone cause I just wanted to see them in better quality than Youtube, and I noticed against certain characters there was a "seal" around them on the ground and an aura coming off them. It only appears for Bang / Tsubaki / Hazama / Litchi / Makoto, which I find kinda odd. I could understand if it was meant to imply it was restraining certain character's powers, but then you have Makoto's which is kind of a joke inside the hamster ball and yet she has that effect. Yet a bunch of other character's don't. Is there something trying to be implied? Or is it just lack of continuity in design? I just find it kinda interesting, even if it is a bit random.

For the first combo you're giving up a lot of damage and doing something "hard" that isn't really worth it for this combo. Off 5B that combo does [1,960] damage. So I wouldn't recommend doing that first one over an easier one. This combo, S++>2B>5D>j.B>j.4C>dj.B>dj.C, with 5B starter does [2,218] just to give an example. S++ in this case means it will work off literally ANY starting combination, except j.A>5A>2A>2A>5B which is a horrible hit confirm anyway, but even if you do that you can still do that combo if you just drop the 2nd j.B. The second combo is good, I just want to add that it does work off 5A as a starter and does [2,339]. You can also do this other combo into relaunch without the IAD part: *(Any Air Starter)>5B>2B>5D>sj.B>j.4C>delay j.C>5A>5B>j.A>j.B>j.4C>dj.4C>dj.C = [2.5k-3.2k] + 1 Seal I haven't gone through all the characters, but I'm gonna say it probably only works against characters that you DON'T need to do d.5A against in the normal relaunch combos. But that's not confirmed.
-
Just wanted to say my bad to Shin again about joining that party chat with my friend, and I guess him kicking you lol. He's one of my irl friends that moved out to CA a few years ago and I don't really get to talk to him all that much and rarely get to play games against him anymore. He's the reason I bought Extend for 360 since I kinda talked him into trying to learn the game. We stopped playing the game but were talking about some stuff when you joined and since he didn't know you I guess that's why he kicked you. Just didn't want you to think it was on purpose or anything.
-
I got my 360 copy of Extend to play a friend. So now I can play some of you guys every once in a while.
-
This works on standing or crouching: 5B>2B>623B>5B>6C>7j.4C>j.623B>6C>j.B>j.4C>j.C>5A>5B>Ashura = [5,010]

Then why did you feel the need to start an "argument" about this when what I said was a fairly broad and open ended response (opinion) to pretty much the whole DLC practice in it's entirety. You're defending them like there's no possible reason for people to dislike these things and yet clearly you yourself say you dislike them as well. That's almost hypocritical if you ask me. I state my opinion about the situation, you say I'm "bitching at the company", yet you can say you dislike them as well but somehow that's completely different than what I said?
