  1. You can't sit there and say it is for "All Skill Levels" and then get mad if people are "trolling" less skilled players. If you look at Jyosua's stream he blatantly states it is for "scrubs" and/or beginners, so it would be at his discretion to kick someone he feels is above whatever standards he has in mind. While something open to "all skill levels", should be fair game across the board. That's why if you're gonna get mad at someone for it, you should make it perfectly clear to begin with. It's not like people should have to change the way they play for someone else or I should say not everyone will do that. And how are "we" to know how the opponent wants us to play against them? -Some people will get mad if you don't play completely serious against them. -Some people will get mad if you play serious and don't give them a chance. It's not like we know that going into fights. It'd be up to the person to say something, and now you are, but going forward you should make it clear wherever possible if it is a stream or in the room settings.
  2. I'm not on right now but you should add me so we can play sometime if we are ever on at the same time. If not I'll add you next time I go online. PSN = zeth07. I live in MD so the connection should be decent in terms of distance at least.
  3. I think it is easy to learn since you really just need to learn 1 midscreen combo and 1 corner combo then just know what adjustments you need to make for the usual starters. Beyond that, the movement/blockstrings/everything else is kinda do whatever you want while trying to not get hit in the process. Then when you land that 1 hit confirm, you will basically kill them. Pretty much no one can block FRKZ mixup, so they'll just be trying to hit you. The "problem" is whether or not it is worth using like you are actually asking. Getting 4 seals isn't really an issue, but by the time you get 50 Heat they are going to be half dead already in most cases, unless you've been getting blown up and/or blocking a lot. So looking at it like that, you can say if you activate FRKZ when they have 50% health, they will more than likely die from the next combo. Whereas if you don't, they'll probably die from 2 combos which means you need to land 2 good hits/mixups instead of 1. The other situations would be if you had like 90% health and they had like 10%, it would be almost pointless to use FRKZ. And the opposite would be if they had 90% and you had 10%, maybe then you could consider FRKZ because of the comeback potential. Of course another use is always FRKZ freeze to potentially blow someone up in the startup of their attack with Ashura or whatever, then if it doesn't kill you would have to know what to do while in FRKZ to try and finish the match. It sure wouldn't hurt to learn it, but I don't feel like it is something you NEED to win. It is definitely player preference.
  4. I thought it'd be worth watching, but I saw some stupid shit so I left.
  5. Can someone confirm / deny that if Arakune gets you cursed in the corner and your character has like < 4 Primers he can pretty much take away all your primers + all your barrier and force you into Danger mode into something you can't block anyway? I saw that shit happen to Star-Demon and I'm pretty sure it's happened to me as well when I've fought Biscuits. Star was blocking pretty much everything while in the corner, and when he got to 1 primer was barrier'ing everything he could and eventually it ran out, put him in danger and he got hit and it looked like he was gonna die but I saw that happen and said fuck this and left the room before it finished, lol.

  7. I actually tried to join your room the other day but it kept saying Failed To Connect.
  8. Well besides that, if someone did a well timed meaty wouldn't you get CH anyway? 5 frames of startup before super flash and you only have invul after super flash, so between the time after you neutral tech and those 5 frames wouldn't a move CH you?
  9. You piss and moan constantly about not being able to join rooms, and yet when you do manage to get into a room you do that? You're making that judgement based on a 6C starter that you will RARELY get unless it is an absolute punish. Seemed to come out ok to me.
  10. Cause you did it on wakeup and got baited?
  11. GGs Skye and Shin. That was the first time I played since March 22nd, lol.
  12. New netplay option select? I really gotta play more, it's been almost 10 days since I last played someone.
  13. I'll play you if no one else does, I haven't played in a while. Just say something on here again when the time comes since I'm watching stickbug's stream anyway.
  14. I guess I'll need to play you sometime as well Eevee.
  15. -Bang barely gets anything off j.D, so I don't really see how that is something dumb. -Ashura is 2,500 damage for 50%, and is his only real reversal and anti-air, how's that dumb? -Nails are a limited resource, and outside of D Nails are hardly worth mentioning. While D Nails provides Bang with an approach or another potential mix-up, he is still limited to the number of times he can do it especially if he is using nails for other means. And yet Litchi's staff can serve the same purposes except do it for free and infinitely throughout the match. -5A and 5B are good, but I would hardly consider them adding to his "dumbness" since it isn't like they are overpowered. -He has good corner carry but it is at the cost of seals most of the time or at the cost of damage if he goes into a seal combo off the wall bounce if it isn't a relaunch combo. And unlike some characters being in the corner against Bang isn't automatically "game over" or some guaranteed mix-up. -FRKZ is high risk/high reward. Combos can do absurd damage but they are basically like using 50% heat the entire time or 100%. On top of that, getting seals means sacrificing damage throughout the match prior to getting FRKZ. Or by the time you get 4 seals + 50% heat, the opponent is already half dead so it isn't even worth it half the time to use FRKZ. I don't really see anything that truly sticks out as something that makes Bang "dumb" that other characters don't have in some way themselves.
  16. First post updated. Invites/Friend Requests sent.
  17. I'm surprised you don't think Valkenhayn is dumb. I'd say Litchi and Rachel are dumb as well. I could even consider Hazama, Jin, Lambda, Tager, Platinum dumb in some regards. Makoto, Tsubaki, and Relius are ok in this game I guess. I just don't see how Bang is considered dumb while some of those other characters I mentioned aren't.
  18. Yea that was my bad, meant 39 not 29.
  19. Nah, that was like absolute longest it could possibly take. 99 sec full time outs * 3 rounds * 39 matches. It obviously wouldn't take that long even considering loading times and what not. It'd probably take an 1.5-2 hrs realistically.
  20. As I sort of mentioned, another option you could try is doing a 6 dash after the 2D to end up on the other side, then do your slight delay 6C. It more or else means you aren't delaying it as long so it becomes less timing dependent. This is how I got comfortable doing it. Just to provide a visual example.
  21. Worst case scenario, it'd take 2.5-3 hours to finish.
  22. I think quite the opposite. I feel like I can't do anything against TD when we play. It seems like Rachel has control of the match for the most part, and has at least some form of tools to deal with Bang from a defensive standpoint whether it's at neutral, under pressure, on oki, etc.. IMO, the match-up doesn't feel like it is in Bang's favor, or if anything it is at least even. At best I could go with 5.5-4.5 Bang's favor just because, but it sure doesn't feel like 6-4 when I play or from all the Japanese matches I've watched. While someone on the Bang forums think it is 7-3 in Bang's favor, which blows my mind, but apparently it's true going by what you say as well. But then again I don't really have a ton of match-up experience, so what do I know, lol. Maybe if I start going with the Give Zero Fucks mentality that I keep being told to do, the match-up will feel different.
  23. Setup a static IP for your PS3 and then put it into DMZ mode through your modem/router page on your PC. This will make it "open" to all connections. It won't make your connection necessarily better, but in theory it should help with connectivity between connections so that nothing is interfering with it on your end. Beyond that all you can do is have it plugged straight to a modem if possible, make sure no one else is using any bandwidth at the same time, and upgrading the connection itself.
