  1. How do you feel about paying for DLC that's actually content already on the disc? Or you gonna defend that as well?
  2. This shit is getting ridiculous. And it's not just Capcom. I really do miss the days when games were complete when you bought em.
  3. I know I may be stating the obvious here, but anyone who plans to actually go to tournaments or weekly meet-ups and play competitively really better go through their combos against ALL characters. This is because there are some incredibly minor differences in a good number of combos that could mean you landing it or dropping it and losing a round/match. You can either find the simple BnBs that work on everyone with no adjustments, or learn the advanced BnBs and get the most out of each situation. I guess this is what would be the difference between a good player and a great player. I'm going through my combo list and noticing a lot of minor little details in a good number of combos, and I can tell that some of this stuff people would not realize until it actually happens in a match. And even then they might think it was just an execution error when really it could've just been because of the difference in character hitboxes that they didn't know. EDIT: Take this combo for example: 2D>sj.D>2B>5D>sj.B>j.4C>dj.4C>dj.C = [2,282] / 22 Heat / 3 Seals Go in training mode and just do this combo to different characters. You'll realize there are quite a few differences in multiple parts of this combo between characters. Now that combo I'm pretty sure was from that Bang Combo Tutorial vid, and me not knowing Japanese means I could not know what any of the notes given actually said. So you really have no choice but to go in training mode and figure them out yourself unless you know someone who can translate the video notes. Or you can just do this combo, because it works on everyone and is stupidly easy: *2D>j.A>j.B>j.4C>dj.4C>dj.C = [1,933] / 15 Heat / 1 Seal But you see the difference between the two, and this is only two combo examples.
  4. So going by this, and what people have said in the past, apparently the netcode has got worse from CT to CS to Extend? Now why in the world would they do that? Or people just have no idea what they are talking about, and can't accept the fact that people's connections can be random as fuck or outright terrible.
  5. kid viper posted this one a while back: (FC or *RC*) 3C>(RC)>d.2B>5B>j.B>j.4C>IAD dj.4C>j.C>d.5A>5B>j.B>j.4C>IAD dj.4C>dj.623B>d.6C>j.4C>j.C = [3,566] / Full Corner Carry I'm assuming it works with RC as well, but I haven't confirmed that yet myself. These other ones might also get around 3.5k-3.8k but I haven't went back in to make note of the damage: From P2 Starting Position *(~50% or FC) (FC) 3C>(RC)>d.2B>5B>j.4C>IAD dj.4C>dj.623B>d.2B>623B>5B>j.A>j.B>j.4C>dj.B>dj.4C>dj.623B = [3,800?] *(~50% or FC) (FC) 3C>(RC)>d.2B>5B>j.4C>IAD dj.4C>dj.623B>(d.5C)>d.6D>623B>5B>2B>j.B>j.4C>dj.4C>dj.C *(~50% or FC) 3C>RC>d.2B>6C>j.4C>j.623B>(d.5C)>d.6D>623B>5B>2B>j.B>j.4C>dj.4C>dj.C You could also probably go into d.6C>j.D>2B>6C>j.4C>j.C after the wall bounce, but I don't know if that'd be more damage or not. And with that in mind, you could probably go into d.6C>j.B>j.4C>j.C>5A>5B>j.A>j.B>j.4C>dj.4C>dj.C.

  7. I don't think it was an issue when you were going over stuff in training mode, but since you were doing it on netplay and kept getting interrupted for matches it felt like the learning experience was taken away and it just became "watch Xie try to play Bang" instead of "Let's learn how to play Bang". If you would've just did it with strictly offline training mode and went over things as normal, I think it would've worked out fine.
  8. Wasn't sure where I should post this, I added a stream event to the calender, but I can't delete it myself. I was told I could before I made it, but I wasn't sure if that was a mod only ability. Kurushii told me he was able to delete his own stream events before he was even a mod, so I'm not sure what's up. It's telling me I don't have the privileges. EDIT: Well the calender updated with my edits at least, so nevermind about that.
  9. You got that to work against Rachel and Tager? I ended up doing a different one to get it to work against Tager: *(50%) 5C>5D>sj.B>j.4C>Web Nail>RC>j.D>Web Nail>6D>Web Nail>d.5C>6D = [2,151] + 4 Seals But not Rachel. Maybe I just didn't mess around with it long enough. EDIT: You can also add = (CH) j.D>d.2D>sj.D>Web Nail>5D = 4 Seals I did it on Jin at least, but didn't go through and test it against everyone else.
  10. Shout outs to Aquasilk and Chris Hu saying they don't like SFXT, but they are going to play it anyway "cause they have to." I'd hate to have to go by that mindset when it comes to playing games.
  11. EC / Midwest people should join Biscuits' room on Peaceful Jay's stream.
  12. I typed out the combo listing from the Bang Combo Tutorial: http://youtu.be/uTKbtOmabBU I'd say this is a good enough basis for BnBs to go into the first post, it covers almost everything but not quite. Apparently there's going to be another video that covers FC and what I'm guessing is the more advanced corner carry combos. But this is a good start. 13. Why does everyone on Live leave after losing like one match? I was watching Peaceful Jay's stream and outside of like 1 guy, everyone else in the room would just bounce after losing and eventually he stopped streaming BB cause no one else was joining.

  17. Just a thought about this, IMO the poison nails got buffed due to the knockdown they cause in certain situations. At neutral if you land one while they are in the air it gives you more time to move in. In the corner, ending certain combos with it and getting the knockdown puts people into a relatively good oki situation where you will either get a quick mix-up if they tech or if they don't tech you can get extra damage and stay in the same situation. But I do agree, I don't really see how Bang is "derp" compared to a lot of other characters in the past, it actually seems kinda uninformed to even say that or just plain stupid. A lot of Bang's combos serve very specific purposes, where you're usually sacrificing damage or seals or oki to gain something in return.
  18. Changes from Week 1 JP Release to Now: -Platinum passed Relius and moved up to #4 from #5. -Relius went down from #4 to #5. -Noel jumped up to #6 from #9. -Tager dropped down from #6 to #8. -Hakumen passed Tager just barely but stayed the same rank, these two are literally flip flopping and are extremely close. -Lambda is down to #9 from #8. -Valkenhayn passed Rachel going from #15 to #14. -Rachel dropped one spot from #14 to #15. -Everyone else stayed the same rank. -About 55k apparently in sales as of now (lolvgchartz). -So rough estimate would be ~65% or less of the people who bought the game have played online. -And one might say that ~13% of the people who bought the game watched the GodsGarden stream (7k viewers), but that's not exactly directly related so it is an even more rough estimate.
  19. I see, well that's that, lol.
  20. If he's from STL (going by that name), Missouri isn't EC.... I swear it's like we need to have a Dustloop Geography or English lesson, cause people either can't read or don't understand what East Coast means. EDIT: And that's not just to you, since obviously that person might not be from STL. But I'm sure you see everyone else posting non-EC people which is what I mean.
  21. Again, there's nothing stopping anyone else from doing whatever other tournaments they want. He's doing it just like how they do Godsgarden, why is that so hard to understand? Assuming they do plan to stream it or upload the matches, I think it would be much better to watch as high of level play as we're going to see on netplay with players everyone knows are actually good at this game. I don't know about you, but I sure don't find it entertaining or helpful to watch people who aren't very good at the game from a spectator's standpoint. There's a time and place for "open tournaments", and this doesn't have to be one of them. Also the fact that netplay allows for some of the top players to play each other which doesn't happen that often outside of Majors, or at least that we get to watch (since they could play on netplay anyway). Of course most of em are from NY/NJ anyway but it's not every tournament we get to see them ALL play against each other. Watching people who know what they are doing and are at a relatively high level should get people hype when they watch, and for some people maybe it will motivate them to get good enough to be on that level and MAYBE participate in the next "series" whenever that may be. OR like I said, someone can easily start running other tournaments.
  22. Are people still not allowed to FRKZ against him? Because that might be an issue.
  23. About Seven and Eight, which one is the guy and which is the girl?
  24. Do you know offhand what were the typos? Cause I already went on the Wiki and changed out the CS2 frame data (on the main Bang page) earlier when you first posted it. So I don't know if I need to go back through and double check everything again or what. Unless you mean typos in the frame data "descriptions", which would be on the separate Bang Frame Data page, in which case I haven't even looked at that since shtkn added it to the Wiki.
